Property had unrealized potential. The location was great. Swimming pool and beach access was very close. The apartment lacked few improvements to make it great: there were no ceiling fans, the chandelier above breakfast table was very low so every time when sitting down to eat someone would bump their head. It would have been nice to have some blankets and decorative pillows to make it cozy. When we first there was unpleasant smell.

Everything was great. Location was great, room was great for a family of 5. Views were amazing, property was well maintained. Lots to do near this area.

Enjoyable Stay

We enjoyed our stay and the balcony view in the mornings. Condo was decorated nicely and not over done.

Enjoyed the views

We loved the place! The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of cooking equipment, the beds were very comfortable, and the place was so clean when we arrived. The only downside was the pools were chilly.

Great spot

Loved the condo! Great view. It was just two of us. Big lanai, nice appliances and I loved the master bed and bedding! I would like to replicate it for my home.

Girls trip

We had a wonderful stay! I have been coming to Destin for 15+ years and this is my first time at this resort. The condo was very clean and easy to access. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. Easy access to everything .. we went to 3 restaurants all within a mile of our condo.. we could have walked! Also could have walked to Winn Dixie and the Outlet Mall it was so close. I will still give it 5 stars but having salt & pepper & simple condiments for cooking would have been convenient but the shakers were empty. Also the exhaust fans in the bathrooms weren’t working or nonexistent. Very nice cookware. Beautiful view! Second bedroom was pretty stuffy despite using the fans from the closet. Overall highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Beach days are the best days❤️

My overall experience was very good, however I had a terrible experience the first day about the beach chairs be included with our rental. The guy was very rude and told me that I was lied to and that he had been having to tell people that all day, he told me I needed to call and get that straight because he owned from the condo to the water. I did not like the way he talked to me at all. I called and told the people at ocean reef about the situation and all they did was apologize for me having to deal with that person..

Great View

We had a nice stay at Edgewater 1500 with the Ocean Reef property management company. This condo was clean and had everything you would need for a 5 night stay. The washer and dryer are very nice, and there is an ice maker, which is a must at the beach! The pools are great and there is even a bar with pretty good poolside lunch food and drinks open from 11-2, which was very convenient. The beach is right there and it was very easy to rent the beach chairs and umbrellas. Those are not included through Ocean Reef, but the rates are a bit cheaper that way, and since we didn't need them everyday, I preferred to rent as needed rather than having it built into the price of the condo. I really like the way the HOA sets up the chairs too. Everyone gets a great view of the water, because no one is allowed to set up chairs straight across the beach in a line. I could have done without the beach DJ's. (I have never understood this part of public beach use, but that has nothing to do with this review) On another note, the beds were pretty comfy, but I always bring my own pillow which helps tremendously with sleeping well. The balcony was nice with decent furniture. It is ideal for 2, would sleep 4 comfortably, but more than that might be a stretch. The couch did fold out into a bed, so a family of 6 with small kids would work, but 6 adults, probably not, it just depends on everyone's comfort level with one another. There is one bathroom with a tub/shower combo, and one bathroom with just the standup shower. The bathrooms, are pretty small, but that shouldn't bother anyone on a vacation. Overall I would definitely rent this condo again. I found Ocean Reef easy to work with too.

Beautiful & Clean

This unit was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. It looks like it has recently been remodeled. The color scheme was so calming and the decor was perfectly done. The kitchen was very well stocked and all appliances were very nice. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
