With 13 beds, six bedrooms, and four full bathrooms spread across three levels, this chalet comfortably hosts families and groups while offering privacy, entertainment, and upscale amenities.

Perfect house for Families!

The house was very clean with tons of amenities. Lots of fun activities for the kids to do. House well stocked, perfect location. The owner was extremely nice and accommodating. I cannot say enough good things about this house. I wish we had more time to spend there. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place to stay with family and friends.

Great family getaway

We had such a great experience at GGs Chalet. They went above and beyond, paying very close attention to detail. Kitchen fully stocked with every appliance needed. Games for the kids. Very family friendly. Will definitely be staying again.

Fun in the snow

We wanted to spend some time playing in the snow as a family, but we also wanted a house to warm up, eat, and gather in to continue the fun. This one was perfect!! There was plenty of space for everyone to relax individually and great areas to gather and share some laughs and love. It had everything we needed and extra surprises to make our stay perfect. We highly recommend this house.

A wonderful find!

We host an event in Shaver Lake every October and this was our first time staying at GG’s Chalet. What a wonderful find! The location is great. It was updated, clean, well-cared for, and comfortable for everyone. Communicating with our host, Dan, was easy and a real pleasure. Can’t say enough good things about our experience at GGs – start to finish. Would highly recommend.

Amazing Place down the road from Shaver lake.

Super fun place to stay so much games plus pool table, ping pong , corn hole… everyone had something to do. Alexa in every room and sound machine were awesome. Super clean and organized . Definitely staying again !! Thank you!

Warm Cozy and Spacious

I go to Shaver Lake every winter and find a different cabin each time. Each time the stay is nice but nothing compared to the GG chalet. Other hosts did not communicate well and were rude after the departure process. Dan has been nothing but welcoming and helpful. I 100% recommend. Just minutes from the lake. I will definitely try to book again!!!

Great Place for All Ages

This place was clean with activities for all ages. It was convenient to the Lake and eating out. However, we used the well stocked kitchen and ate in more than anything. We were a group of 13 with ages 10 to 80. We would stay there again.

The best!

We had the most fantastic weekend here! The home is beautiful and so well stocked in the kitchen/bbq and games and puzzles galore, fun for all ages! The home was very clean and the beds were comfy as well. There was plenty of room for our large extended family! Dan was the best host, so kind and accommodating! We cannot wait to stay here again!

We had a great experience at the house. It was very roomy, clean and everything was perfectly organized. House had everything we needed, including supplies, small appliances, pots, dishes, tons of blankets, and games for kids. The host replied to us very quickly and left us a nice gift on arrival. The host accommodated us by letting us check in earlier and check out later. This was one of the best houses we ever rented

Very nice place

The home was lovely. Well furnished and clean. Easy to get to and close to the lake and China peak. We enjoyed the surrounding areas and coming back to the condo after a day out and about.

A true mountain getaway!

I had the pleasure of staying at GGs Chalet for a church leadership retreat during the month of March. We were a group of 16 ladies and found the place spacious enough for all of our group needs. The kitchen provided everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable! Our large group especially appreciated the extra long dining room table which allowed us to enjoy our meals together. There was also enough sitting in the living room areas and it was especially nice to be able to enjoy the beautiful view from the couch! The whole house has been updated, very well decorated and spotless. The icing on the cake was Dan's hospitality! He was VERY responsive to all our questions and easily accommodated our needs. We truly felt like we were staying at a close friend's home! Whether you are looking for a home to accommodate your large group or a spacious retreat for your small group, you will not be disappointed!

My family and I had so much fun! Everything you could possibly need was available to us from kitchen items to games and extra blankets. House was very clean and neat. The owner was available to us if we had any questions. Kids were kept busy having a blast! Thank you Dan!

GG’s Chalet was designed to comfortably host multi-generation groups, with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, including two king beds, one queen bed, and multiple full-size and twin bunk beds, giving everyone their own space while still feeling connected.

Inside the chalet, there’s something for everyone. Younger guests can enjoy coloring books, simple puzzles, and kid-friendly activities, while teens and adults love the PS4 with Plus subscription, large-scale games, and group favorites like cards, dice, Mexican Train dominoes, poker chips, and backgammon. For quieter moments, there are puzzles designed for the whole group to gather around and enjoy together.
