Lovey Stay

All around excellent place to stay. Exactly as advertised, host was very responsive, easy check in and only 15 min from Camel Back ski mountain. Looking forward to visiting again.

Easy and thorough communication. The house was clean and accommodated our extended family very well! The hot tub and gaming garage were a big hit! The lake was frozen and snowy…very pretty. I imagine the lake is really great in warmer weather. Thanks so much for everything!

Great lake house

Overall the location was great and our group had a good time. The house has a lot of room for guests and provided essentials for our stay. The deck/hot tub are nice to hangout on in the back yard.

Perfect for large family gathering!

The standouts about this rental: plenty of space for 10 of us (7 adults and 3 young children) to spread out inside and outside for sleeping, eating, and lounging; greatly enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the warm lake, thanks to this beautiful waterfront area; large gaming room was a big hit; and Leigh was a wonderful host - prompt communicator, helpful tips, and very gracious.

Dog approved!! HUGE lake house perfect for group!

Upon arrival the house was clean and had wonderful towel art welcoming us! All the staples were fully stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. All rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Our dog loved running around the very large backyard. Would love to stay again!

Family vacation

The house had a beautiful view from the back deck. Overlooked water and the fall foliage was gorgeous. Plenty of room in the house for everyone. The bedrooms were spacious and there were several sectionals for relaxing. House was clean and well supplied. Easy approx half hour drive to many places. We would definitely return here for future visits!

Wonderful lake house vacation

Leigh, the property manager, was awesome. Anything we needed, no matter what time of day or night, he was there to take care of. We even left him a list of some minor items that needed attention after we left. He sent me pictures of the repairs before I got home from the lake. The lake house is everything you could want in a vacation getaway. The lake was beautiful, had a blast with the kayaks and enjoying sitting on the dock relaxing. The double deck is where we spent much of our time playing games, eating and enjoying our friends. Our overall stay was amazing. Everything you could possibly want In a lake house vacation.

Cleanliness

First impression of the outside was not good....House needs power washing badly, cobwebs going into front door, deck needs to be repainted, cushions/chairs very dirty.....Overall tho, the interior was pretty clean and quite accommodating to all of our needs. I would consider recommending to others if these items were taken care of...Property manager was very responsive and nice to chat with.

so thank you for your review, after you left we started to paint the deck and power wash the house, so thank you we do this maintainace, in between guest so its a progressive improvement approach , cobwebs are maid daily so we clean daily , i sit on deck and watch spider make a web, all of the above are being taken care off

Even better than expected

We planned this trip to take the kids snow tubing. The house is even better than the pictures portray - perfectly set up for multiple families with kids to stay comfortably. The second level “hang out” was perfect for the kids while the (6) adults hung out in the kitchen/breakfast area. The game room was a hit for all of us. So much fun playing air hockey and football with the kids! The view is so beautiful, and there is plenty of space in the backyard to play. We found some footprints in the snow and had fun attempting to identify them. Later, we saw a coyote running across the frozen lake and confirmed our identification! We also saw a couple of rabbits and a buck. And, David is hands-down a 5-star owner. He was responsive and genuinely excited for our stay. He has gone the extra mile to ensure the house is well-stocked with essentials (hand soaps, dish soaps, laundry detergent, pantry and kitchen items, linens, extra blankets, you name it), so that your stay is truly enjoyable. We are already planning our next trip - we will absolutely be back!

This rental home was spacious, very clean, and perfect for our group. The setting was beautiful with lake views and plenty of wildlife—deer came into the yard almost every evening, which made the stay feel magical. There were lots of activities on the property: kayaks, a fire ring, and a large lakeside deck with a table that made gathering easy. The hot tub was spotless and worked perfectly, and the garage was stocked with games, all in working order.The owner was wonderful—every time we had a question, they responded right away. Entry to the home was easy and stress-free. The deck attached to the house had lots of seating, but both decks had some tripping hazards, and the lake deck had soft spots that made us nervous. The bright blue paint made steps blend together, which was tricky to see at times. Some chairs were in need of replacing. Inside, all beds looked clean with plenty of pillows, though most were firm and the master mattress could use an upgrade. The kitchen was lovely. It had most essentials, though no cookie sheets or potholders, so future guests may want to bring their own.Overall, this home offered comfort, relaxation, and lots to do. With a few repairs and small updates, it could be truly exceptional.

Great house with a great view!

This house was perfect for our family! Having the dock to fish was so awesome! We all caught lots of fish! The early mornings were so beautiful and peaceful by the water. On the not so great weather days, we all enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub on the back deck. Every day in the early morning and around dusk, deer came out of the woods and grazed along the grass of the yard. There was a groundhog who lived under the wood pathway to the lake and he would come out every once in a while. The backyard provided plenty of space for throwing around the football and having a fun cornhole tournament! The house was well equipped with plenty of sheets, towels, blankets, and pillows. The kitchen had every pot, pan and utensil you could need which was great since we like to cook all our meals during our stay. We didn't have any issues with water pressure or running out of hot water even with our large group! The location of the home was great as we could go to the community amenities within minutes. One rainy day, we went to Kalahari Indoor Water Park and that was literally 11 minutes away which was so convenient! The owner was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. I would highly recommend this property for any group vacation/getaway!

All about the lake

It was all about the lake! Beautiful location! We enjoyed the kayaking and the peace. This house is ROOMIE, 10 adults and 2 kids and plenty of room to spread out. The house is tired though, kitchen and bathroom updates would make this property 5 star plus. Disposing of garbage was a pain but good communication from the owner. Water pressure was tough, one shower at a time and cant run water anywhere else at the same time. Glad we took this trip, still thinking about my morning coffee by the lake 🙂

Great location for family

We had an amazing experience at this location. Everything was perfect and amazing views. The most amazing part was how attentive the host was. We rented 4 different properties and he as the only one to call me to let me know about an issue with the pond. Not only did he let me know he offered to compensated us with passes to the pool for then inconvenience. Then during the middle of the week called me just to check and make sure everything was going well. I have rented from a number of other VRBO hosts, this was without a doubt the best host and experience to date. Highly recommend you book this property.

Our 50th Wedding Anniversary Trip

My family and I had a wonderful time at David's beautiful home. The home is very spacious with five bedrooms, two living room areas, three bathrooms and a play area with a pool and hockey tables etc. to use when the weather is too cold to go out. The house is located in a quiet residential area with a beautiful view of the lake - sunrise on the lake was gorgeous! We enjoyed using the fire pit and toasting marshmallows. We would love to come back and stay at David's home when it is warm and can do all the lake activities. David was always very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. I accidently left my purse at the home and I was very appreciative that David was so quick to reach out to me so that I could pick it up easily. David - Thank you so much for helping make our Anniversary so special!!

Perfect getaway

This house was everything it was advertised. We had 2 family and there was more then enough room for everyone. We group age range was 5-66 and with Multiple seating and TV areas it was perfect for everyone. The deck was great and the kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. I really can not say enough about this house. Thank you for a great time

Spacious deck and a nice walkaway to the lake.

It has a private backyard and beautiful view from the deck and dock. I enjoyed the table on the deck looking at the lake. There are huge living room in first floor and second floor. But some bathroom fixture is old. All others are good condition.
