Yes, it was indeed unusually cold at the beginning of March for your stay, but I am so happy you made the most of it ... I hope you will come back soon when the weather and river are warmer, so that you can enjoy kayaking, floating and swimming on the beautiful Guadalupe River! :)

OMG, Debbie, thank you for your kind words, I wasn't expecting that AT ALL! And I say that with all sincerity because hardly anyone leaves reviews on VRBO, in my short experience on this platform, and so to wake up and see your nice review really made my day. Yes, please come back during the warmer months, I promise you won't regret it - the river, kayaks, floats, rope swing, canoe and dam-sliding on Lake Ingram make all the difference in the world. And, YES, we are 100% pet-friendly, thank you for pointing that out. So glad you won so many games in your baseball tournament!! :)

There absolutely WAS accurate communication about the water, which, like ALL surrounding properties, is drawn from an underground well near the river ... that's how life IS in the rural parts of the hill country, as well as just about all rural towns throughout the United States where there is not a city municipality. Our family has used this water for over 80 years ... it comes from a spring under or adjacent to the Guadalupe River ... we drink it, shower with it AND jump in the river to swim ... same thing, except the water flowing to the cabin is filtered. But, back to the communication ... I send an email to ALL of my guests explaining the water situation, so that they know what to expect ... and all of my guests respond and acknowledge that they have received my email ... ALL of them ... except this guest, as nice as she was, was not very good in the communication category, so either she didn't see or read my email, even though she confirmed that she received it. I'm only saying all of this not to pick on my guest ... I always appreciate ALL of my guests ... I'm only saying this and responding because I am 100% a good communicator, and everyone tells me that on this and especially other platforms that I use to rent out this property. If anyone has any further questions about this cabin, I would look forward to having the opportunity to answer all of your questions .... and I look forward to hosting you! :)
