Great WP location and great host

Best spot to stay ski in/out at Winter Park. Condo is perfect for our family of 3, and William is a very helpful host.

Perfect for our family!

Great place to stay! Owner was very accommodating. We were very pleased with our stay! Everything you needed was right there! Extremely clean! We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again in the future!

Perfect location, excellent host - the best vacation!

Can’t say enough good things about our stay. The place was fantastic: cozy, clean and well stocked. The location was amazing - walk out the door onto the ski run. But the whole great experience was underscored by William the host - so helpful, accommodating and wonderful. It was like staying in your friends place - a home away from home.

We couldn't have asked for a more convenient and comfortable home base to support full days on the slopes. William was very communicative from the moment we booked and had us totally prepared to enjoy Winter Park upon arrival. He had everything covered. From the basics like having the place clean, all appliances working, and parking arranged, to the extras that put the trip over the top like having some cold drinks in the fridge, recommending a great place to get gear, and my wife really appreciated the extra foot warmers :). It is literally less than 50 steps from the door of the condo to the first run of the day. Can't beat the ski-in/ski-out location! Highly recommend this place for a long weekend with family or friends at a really great mountain.

Best stay ever!

Property is great true ski in ski out. Best host I’ve ever had! William was in close contact and did so many small things to make sure our stay was great. When I offered to do some little things his response was “Just focus on relaxing and having a good time”… which we did. If there were more stars I’d give them.

Modern cozy, 30 seconds from the ski trail

A friend and I stayed 4 nights, snowboarding each day. We were easily 30 seconds away from stepping into our boards on the Corridor Way trail that leads to Winter Park base & The Gondola. The room was cozy, yet plenty of space for all we needed. The decor was tasteful modern, with multiple charging stations and wireless/ remote lamp & accent lights. The owner provided great communication with easy instructions for check-in/out. Another nice touch was the welcome snacks, waters, and coffee. This is a prime room for anyone that wants super easy Corridor Way trail access, or just a great room for a stay in Winter Park.

Father and Son Weekend

Great trip! Unit, location, etc. was all per the listing. Very clean unit and great location. Was perfect for Father and Son weekend. We easily stored equipment just a few doors down from the unit, just a few steps further and then skied down to the gondola to start our days. Awesome! Thank you for the warming gifts! Hope to bring another son next year. See you then!

Just what I needed/wanted!

I do an annual trip to Winter Park to ski with a friend who owns a condo in Iron Horse. I like to get a place in the same building, if not on the same floor, as my friend’s for the convenience of getting together and the access to the slopes. I also like a place that has a well stocked kitchen as my friend and I take turns cooking dinners. William’s condo met all my wants and needs, in addtion to being updated and nicely appointed. In addition, William is a very attentive, generous, and flexible owner. He kept in touch during the stay to make sure everything was going well and that I had everything I needed. After having rented several other units in Iron Horse, this one is one of the nicest I’ve had. I’ll look for it again when I plan next year’s trip.

Location is great for ski in ski out

Location was great but the condo wasn't really as advertised. Seems like the owner is updating bit by bit and we stayed in the middle of his bathroom remodel. Strange door that didn't give a lot of privacy and needing to finish the tile/grout/paint. Small space and good for 2 people or a small family. Appliances were a pain to use, specifically the dishwasher and the oven. Fireplace that heated the place we nice. Everything was washed in TIDE and dryer sheets which we are highly allergic to so that was an issue and wish we had known so we would have brought our own items. Would stay in this location but try a different more updated and advertised condo.

LOL! This review and two stars? Condo is exactly as advertised ... not in the middle of a remodel. Congrats on finding the missing tile behind the toilet. Bathroom has a standard sliding wood door (it's not see through!) I leave directions for the dishwasher on the counter, if you read them (4 steps), you would have had no problem. Oven is standard (select "bake", punch in temp, hit "start" ... oh yeah, and hit "off" when your done.) Perhaps you were trying to bake in the dishwasher and wash dishes in the oven??? Never occurred to me to warn guests that towels and linens are washed in Tide with Bounce dryer sheets (still LOL!) - sorry for your allergic reaction, but I'm not changing brands. I'll conclude by providing a quote of the text you sent me during your stay ... "Everything is great thanks! The condo is awesome and the location is perfect" Tell the truth Sarah - you're just angry because I only extended your checkout time at no charge for 31/2 hours so you could ski a full day (minus 1 hour) versus a full day. You should probably try Aspen next time. Still LOL! William

Excellent ski-in/ski-out well equipped Studio Condo

Owner/host has put together and very clean and very comfortable and extremely well equipped studio. Our host provided clear guidance for access and maximum utilization of not only his unit but the overall facilities (and great tips on skiing at Winter Park and fantastic nearby places to snowshoe. I have used Vrbo before and had good experiences but this was hands-down the best based on the host’s thoughtful attention to detail in the equipping and maintenance of his property, along with his personal guidance.
