Description: Enjoy a beautiful view of mountain living from this rugged timber frame one bedroom condo located in Chalakee, within Echota Resorts. This condo features a covered front entry and rear deck with an amazing Mountain view. The view can be admired from the deck or from the large picture windows in the open kitchen and living room areas. The kitchen features custom kitchen cabinetry, granite countertops, hardwood floors, and stainless-steel appliances. It is fully equipped with everything to prepare a meal inside or outside on the built-in-gas grill. The living room is cozy and inviting with a cultured stone gas fireplace, hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and a TV. Stay for a weekend to relax or an extended period and enjoy all the High Country has to offer. This condo is on the bottom floor (downstairs) with an elevator. In case of power outages or elevator equipment malfunctions, the condo will be stair access only.

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful views and very clean inside and out. Very handicap friendly also, with elevator to our room. Would stay here again.

I am a frequent visitor to the high country and have stayed in many rentals. This location is great and the process of checking in/checking out was super easy. Location is close to everything. I look forward to staying again.

Decent place. Bed was uncomfortable. Wish the description was more informative for unit location. Not knowing I booked the bottom floor when the wntire building was empty and I could have picked the upper floor for better view. Just did not know layout of building and lication of u it in building.

Great Location

Love the location. Close to Boone and Banner Elk. Very nice complex with lots of amenities, and beautiful views. The condo was clean and just the right size. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Retreat

My husband and I visited for 2 nights to.celebrate our anniversary. It had all the comforts of home that he enjoys and all of the sights and sounds of nature that I enjoy. Visiting in the beginning of August after many of the kids were back in school was a great choice. It was so peaceful and quiet there. Watching the bunnies and deer from the balcony was icing on top. I love that it's so close to Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. We visited both. Having the bedroom on the other end of the condo was nice when he wanted to watch TV at night while I slept. The amenities were wonderful as well. Highly recommend it.

Like living in a screen saver for a few days!The Mountain views were incredible pretty much everywhere we went, including from the condo. The condo was just a described, communications from the rental agency were very clear, and our stay was absolutely wonderful!I cooked dinner in the condo, two of the nights and didn't lack any tools. It was also nice that they left coffee filters and salt/pepper, which was not expected but a nice touch.We used the indoor pool and hot tub daily, and the outdoor pool/hot tub one day. We even fished the ponds one day. The resort property is gorgeous on its own, but the nearby attractions offer so much more. We explored Grandfather Mountain, The Blowing Rock, Rough Ridge Overlook, and Blowing Rock downtown area. Even though it rained some every day of our vacation, we still had the best time.

Peaceful stay in Boone

Beautiful condo in great location. Comfy bed; kitchen well equipped. Deck (view) was fantastic...always a light breeze and lots of singing birds. Only downfall was having to drive down the mountain, then up a different mountain to get to the pool. Fantastic local hikes....especially Linville Falls (went 2x). Highly recommend & hope to return some day.

On top of the clouds!

This condo’s view couldn’t be beat! I’d like to come back during the warm months to enjoy the outdoor pool/hot tub. Wish there were hikes on the property. Also, the indoor pool/hot tub is quite a drive from the condo. Very nicely decorated and comfortable bed!

Excellent property. Beautiful view. Enjoyed the peaceful view of the morning mountain, birds singing and quiet awakening of the earth. Unfortunately we were not able to use the amenities of the campus due to our schedule. Staff quickly responsive to concerns. Would stay again. Thanks you for sharing this lovely space

weekend getaway

Stayed for a weekend to ski Beech Mtn. and cabin was in nice community a short drive away. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Wish amenities were closer (hot tub) as we had to drive back and forth, but glad to have the option, and we never found the sauna. TV options were cable, so it would be nice if streaming apps were available. Would definitely stay again though if I couldn’t be on the mountain.

Goodbye Ida!

Once Ida cleared out the weather and view were wonderful! Appreciated the no-contact check in/out process. The condo had everything we needed for a 3-night visit to the area, and the bed was very comfortable. Only minor issue was the check-in and check-out times on VRBO and from Foscoe were not the same. Close to Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain and wineries. Another fabulous trip to the area for us!

We chose this property due to the close proximity to Hawksnest. Great little condo with amenities and gorgeous views. We had a few inches of snow and the roads were plowed before we left for the day. Great property!
