Timeless Lake Gaston Family-Friendly Retreat!

**RECENT UPGRADES** - New boathouse with plenty of shaded dock area and bar for hours of fun by the water; 2022 James Bond pinball machine for rainy days; and Starlink high-speed internet.

This 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom home can accommodate 10 friends and family for an unforgettable Lake Gaston retreat. Located on Pretty Creek in a large wooded lot, this home has excellent, swimmable water (average of 8' deep around dock/boathouse) right off the dock and lots to explore around the neighborhood, including a nature trail.

Located in the desirable Fern Cliff subdivision, this home is on a natural, shaded lot just a short boat ride from the main lake and Goat Island. Plus, at the end of the driveway is the wide open Orchard with a frisbee golf course and lots of open area to run and play yard games while you're taking a break from the Lake.

In addition to three dedicated bedrooms, the home has an open floor plan with a large family room, living room, and loft/play room - all with great views of the Lake through new picture windows. The large deck with three-burner Weber grill and comfortable seating also makes a perfect hang-out spot.

This is a perfect getaway spot for your family. The loft/play room comes stocked with kids' books, games, puzzles, LEGOs (DUPLO and regular), and other toys. The open and airy family room, which is separate from the sleeping areas, has a large TV, DISH satellite TV, Blu-Ray DVD player with a selection of Blu-Ray DVDs, Nintendo 64 console with games, bubble hockey table, and pinball machine.

Beds come with pillows and comforters; linens and towels are not included.

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing stay at this property. Ryan was great about promptly answering any questions we had. The home was beautiful and a perfect location. Nice, quiet area with beautiful lake access. We loved the dock and all the extra amenities provided. Highly recommend this home and we would love to stay again.

Another Excellent Stay

This was our second year staying at this property and it’s even better with the addition of a great boathouse that gives the option for shade or sun! This place is just perfect for our family of young adults who can have their own space and yet all still be together. Thanks again!!

Most Relaxing Vacation Yet!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! Plenty of room for a family of 8! The water right off the dock was amazing, and Ryan was so responsive whenever we asked a question. Location was perfect!

Family fun for all!

A great community location, a wonderful view and just perfectly positioned on the lake. This place hit all the right things for our family. Big open kitchen, deck space and dock to swim and lounge. 2 living spaces let the kids be kids... while the adults could relax and unwind. Ryan the host was easy to communicate with, and arrival and departure instructions are clear and concise. We would absolutely be back... thank you Ryan!

A great week!

We enjoyed our week at Lake Gaston. The positives of the property: Huge kitchen! There are six bar stools at a very long island and a high top table for four. The island is great for prepping and serving food. There are plenty of various types of glasses. The cookware is of good quality as well. The Weber grill was nice. The two living rooms made it nice for adults and teens to separate. Having four bathrooms was a plus. The dock had enough room for us to tie up a deck boat and a pontoon boat and still have room for swimming. There were plenty of games inside and the bubble hockey was a hit. The few negatives: There is only enough silverware for eight adults. The outside of the property had a lot of debris. Had we found a leaf blower on the property, we would have gladly run it ourselves. We did clean up some limbs around the path. The swim ladder on the dock is lifting up and coming loose. We had to have someone stand on the dock deck board while we were getting out of the water. The positives outweigh the negatives and we would stay again. Pretty Creek is a great place for a vacation home. Goat Island and Grandma's Island are close by and being of the main part of the lake is a plus.

Peace, quiet, and rest

Plenty of room in the house for all of our needs and more. The kitchen was well stocked and lacked nothing. The location was perfect for our needs. It was a peaceful and quiet subdivision. Very few boats went by at high speeds interrupting the quiet. We would rent it again for sure.

Great Spot on Lake Gaston

As longtime renters in Lake Gaston , we are familiar with the area and have stayed in several houses nearby. This location is excellent and Ryan, the property manager, was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There are tons of games and fun things to use on the lake at the house which was a huge plus as we had several kids with us. The kitchen is incredibly spacious which made cooking dinners for our large group a breeze. The only real downside to this house was the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the property. While it wasn't dirty per say, the porch area was not organized as shown in the pictures and it seemed like the cleaners really didn't care too much as they were straightening up the house in general. We let Ryan know so I'm sure this aspect of the house will be improved. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here - Ryan is a helpful and kind host and the neighborhood is wonderful!

Hi Ryan, We had a great time. You asked my opinion on how to improve . This is just from staying at other places on the lake. They took their boat out so we could use the boat ramp. The outside could have been cleaned up better on deck, docks. All in all, great location and enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for letting us stay at your house. Linda

Perfect lake getaway!

This house was everything we hoped for and more! We spent a week here with family and friends and the layout accommodated perfectly - the sleeping and lounging arrangements are somewhat divided which gave everyone extra space and privacy. We ate all of our meals here, the kitchen was well stocked/great for cooking and plenty of seating in the kitchen as well as outdoor spaces. We highly recommend this house and look forward to staying here again!
