Dog friendly single-story home, Flat lot! Huge game room! 7 ft water depth!

Our updated waterfront single-story cottage overlooks a beautiful flat lawn with expansive views of Lake Gaston from the dock. The water is 7 feet deep off the new Trex dock for excellent swimming and for tie-up of your boat! The yard is whimsically decorated with fun decor and has multiple sitting areas and chair swings to enjoy the lake views. A wraparound deck, both a propane grill and a Blackstone and various seating areas allow for peaceful meals. The secluded wood-burning fire pit area has 6 Adirondack chairs (and 4 more on the dock). The property is very private; the neighboring homes are set further back on either side and there are many trees edging both sides of the property.

Weather not cooperating? Step into the 1,080 sq foot brand-new climate-controlled game room! Spend the day playing in the entertainment area which includes a 85" TV, refrigerator, seating and various games. Enjoy the stand-alone Golden Tee arcade game (6 different versions of Golden Tee games and 14 other games, including Paperboy, Rampage, Bowling, etc). You will also find a regulation-sized Ping Pong table, 9 feet long shuffleboard table and dual indoor basketball game!

The main house boasts an open floor plan with high ceilings and huge floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and windows with plenty of light for the tree-lined view to the water. The gorgeous kitchen features granite countertops and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay including coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, griddle, waffle maker and air fryer. Sit in the reclining leather couches and watch tv or just enjoy the view. There is also a full-sized washer and dryer for your convenience.

The spacious Main Bedroom with King bed has sliding glass doors opening straight out to the deck (and a lake view). The Main Bedroom has its own bathroom with double sinks, shower, and separate toilet area with door and window.

The second and third bedrooms are across the house from the main bedroom and feature a King bed in one room and two sets of Full-over-Full bunk beds in the other, with a large wall-mounted tv. There is a second full bathroom in that hallway.

The boathouse is stocked with life jackets, floaties and there are 2 adult, 1 child sized kayaks to enjoy. The boathouse also has surround-sound blue tooth to connect to your phone for some tunes, a refrigerator and ice maker, and the dock has an amazing fan and a very fun Hook and Ring game.

For your convenience, we provide sheets, pillows, comforters, hand soap, dish wash cloths/dish towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and trash bags. Internet is provided through Starlink. We provide starter toilet paper in each bathroom and a roll of paper towels.

NOT PROVIDED: Bath and beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo and shower soap, laundry detergent, firewood. There is no cable tv, but the tvs are equipped to use your personal streaming service and we do have a DVD/Blue ray disc player and selection of movies. Our boat is not available for rent but your boat can be tied up to the dock.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: There are external cameras on the property. Trash is not picked up at the individual homes so you will be required to bring all your trash to the neighborhood dumpster, just a 0.1 mile drive.

DOG POLICY: We do allow one well behaved/fully housebroken dog to join you for an additional fee. The dog must be current on Rabies vaccine and current on flea and tick medication. Please inquire about a second dog.

RENTAL POLICY: At least one renter must be 25 years of age or older and present during the entire duration of the stay. This renter must provide a copy of a valid ID after booking. We will also provide a copy of the house rules that we will need to be acknowledged.
