Spacious in town home will sleep the whole gang. Walking distance to town and Maddox Blvd. This centrally location is the best. Three bedrooms and huge loft upstairs. Also offering a separate dining area and nice back yard.

THIS HOME DOES NOT PROVIDE LINENS OR TOWELS. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN OR CALL US TO RENT THEM.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid. If less, then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge, and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

Love chincoteague but not this place

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Vacation rental is older and I already knew that coming into it. We have rented this same house for the past 3 years. Looks like every year it gets worse and worse. Not very clean the same cob webs were in the same place as last year. Dead bugs stuck on the wall. Thick layers of dust on all of the curtains and ants everywhere. The door handles are falling off our kids got stuck in the upstairs loft and we had to take the door handle off. I expect ants in the kitchen and bathroom because of the water and I get that it is a beach home. But when i buy my kids a pizza and we eat and go back for seconds and the pizza has ants all in it. The master bedroom was filled with them, they were in my clothes the drawers my medications etc. I called the rental company and they said welcome to chincoteague so i thought really and went there and the man said the same thing. welcome to chincoteague we have ants. i said i cant even get a pizza let alone go grocery shopping and he looked at me and said yup. I have rented from this company multiple times and have rented multiple different houses. i wont go through this rental company again

Quick vacation

Other than that the home was very functional and met all our needs.

Family vaca

Reviewer Comments: We love renting with harbour rentals always quick and super easy to deal with. we stayed at this house last year we love the setup of it. everyone has there own space. but this year the cleanliness just wasnt great. cob webs eveywhere there was a dirty face cloth left in the bath tub when we got there and there were ants all over the kitchen. we literally put down pizza boxes on the counter and when we came back to get another slice we couldn't eat the food. sucks when you have this many people cause we do not want to eat out for breakfast lunch and dinner but the kitchen is very small super outdated and just not clean. def will book with harbour again next time we are down but will not stay here again

Nice house but needs to be updated

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: + This house has some great potential but desperately needs updates. Living& dining room furniture, carpet throughout, and rugs show a lot of wear.+ The loft is the best part of the house. Our 3 girls loved being able to spread out with their toys.+ The washing machine is wedged behind the stove in the kitchen and the dryer is located in a storage closest in the loft.+Screened back porch is perfect for relaxing without being eaten by mosquitos.+ Beds were comfortable and the bedrooms are nice-sized.+ 1st-floor bathroom is small, and the tub is narrow. The loft bathroom is nice and the shower is spacious.+ Having warm water in the outside shower is great for rinsing off children after the beach without protest!

My 3 Buoys - July 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The upstairs was awesome and the screened porch was great for coffee in the mornings, although we did buy a coffee maker because the one there was gross. The living room furniture smells awful and should be incinerated. The washer and dryer should be next to each other, not separated by a floor. Bath matts should be installed to protect the floors and the owner. A cable plan should be included and the remotes should have working batteries. The king bed is not, its 2 twins that swallow the sleeper. The island was awesome as ever, this was our 20th year. We won't rent this house again.

Grandmas cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am going, to be honest, this wasn't for us. I did read the reviews but the kids really wanted the loft so we went for it. In my opinion, the loft was the only nice spot in the house. The kitchen was non exsistent. Literally not an inch of counter space and I don't even cook but you cant even place down your bags of takeout. This house sleeps 14 but says no more then 10 people so I can imagine this being an issue there were only 6 of us. The dishwasher was broken which I didn't figure out until we went and bought the dishwasher pods and filled it with dirty dishes, luckily my husband got some tools and was able to fix it. The washer is in the kitchen but the stove is in front of it so if you are short you can't really get the clothes out. It took me literally two days to find the dryer up in the attic in a 110 degree closet so that was fun to then lug all of the wet clothes up there. A description would have been nice. The downstairs bathroom was very small as well. The porch was cute but the mosquitos are insane in chincoteague and they all came into the porch and then all flew into the house as soon as you opened the door. the outdoor shower was a plus but after one shower you have been bit about 20 times so we only used that the first day we hit the beach. I think we may have been the first renters of the season as every dresser and table as well as the blinds were covered in dust. as well as for the first two days we thought the central air was broken but all of the vents throughout the house were closed. This is why I hate check-in on Saturday because they are already closed when you arrive and then they are closed all day Sunday. the location of the house was great we could walk to the main street an the pier. coffee and doughnuts every morning as well as the ice cream shops. I am fine with the money that we paid for our trip but I wouldn't book this house again for me it was to outdated and tway small. The rooms and beds were fine for sleeping no complaints<

Great family house

This house was perfect for our big family! The kids loved having a hang out spot upstairs and the rooms were very cozy. We would have liked to have the A/C set lower than 70 but the ceiling fans helped a lot. Would definitely stay here again and again.

Plenty of beds and bedrooms

The kitchen was somewhat small and when we vacuumed on day we left it appeared based on the amount of dirt collected that it had not been thoroughly vacuumed in front room previously. Also the washer was squished in kitchen and dryer was inconveniently located in upstairs area.

Just perfect!

This property is amazing! It is far larger than just looking at it from the street would have you to think - having the attic as a bedroom/living area for the kids/grandkids is perfect - especially with their own bathroom/shower! Downstairs with three bedrooms was great! The house was spotless and very well-appointed - screened porch was so enjoyable during a rain shower. The location of the property makes everything so accessible (by foot, bikes, or car) but still just far enough away from the hustle of Maddox to be quiet. The outside shower was perfect for rinsing off the beach! We will definitely be back to this property in the future!

Met our needs, with a couple of exceptions

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an older home with a lot of charm. We have rented in Chincoteague for 11 years in many different homes and this is not the best nor the worst we have stayed in. The home is roomy, comfortable beds, and a very nice yard. The kitchen is extremely small and difficult to cook in...especially if you have a larger group. It would be nice if in the descriptions of the homes they provide details such as how easy it is to prepare meals given limitations of the home. There are pictures, but those can be deceiving. One reason to rent a home is to be able to prepare meals. The kitchen was also stocked very minimally with cook ware. We had to purchase toilet paper, paper towels, dish clothes, dish soap, dishwasher soap, garbage bags, etc. Not a big deal but we didn’t know this in advance and left it all behind in hopes the next renter would benefit from it. The air conditioning works great! There is plenty of room for kids to play. Out stay was not negative or unpleasant, just not as convenient as we had hoped. Will continue to rent from this company as they are very accommodating and friendly.

Plenty of space for the kids to run around inside and out. Convenient to town and a short drive to the beach. We would definitely book again.
