Make your home away from home in this 828 sq. ft. 1 bed/1 bath apartment that is full of space, light and amenities. Our Garden Apartment recently received a COMPLETE REMODEL and is only steps away from Lincoln Park & 12 blocks from the U.S. Capitol! The apartment has brand new stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, fireplace, updated bathroom, walk-in-closet, along with an office for those working remotely. Other highlights include a private front porch, central air/heat & a washer/dryer. Guests are welcome to have more than 4 people stay in the apartment, if they’d like. For instance, we’ve had parents with three small children fit comfortably in our apartment when the kiddos stay on the pull out couch, along with our additional queen sized air mattress!

Our Capitol Hill neighborhood is as walkable as it gets! Grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops and more are just a short stroll from our apartment. Parking and metro access are a breeze, as well.

Ample street parking is available on our street (parking pass included) and multiple Metro Stations are also about a 10 or 15 min walk away too.

Beautiful unit in great location.

This property is meticulously maintained and full of amenities including thoughtful supplies and snacks for the weary traveler. Perfect location situated in a quiet neighborhood with restaurants, shopping, and attractions nearby.

The home was clean, smelled amazing & we really appreciated all of the amenities suchbas the full set of laundry item. There was plenty of towels & closet space. We were able to make great meals, since we do not eat out much.It was a great location to get to all the Washington sights. Most uber ride were under 15 & we even used the motorized bike to explore the neighborhood. The people were nice & most were friendly. There is a park at the end of the street where we took nightly walks, which always had children plays & people interacting.

WONDERFUL

We absolutely loved this property and will be back again! This property is so well appointed and had everything we needed and more! Clean, updated, excellent location. Near all of the Capitol Hill sites as well as shopping and food. There was even a lovely farmers market a couple of clocks away. A

Amazing Location

Our stay was amazing! the location was walking distant to everywhere we wanted to visit. The place was very nice, clean and roomie. If we get the opportunity to visit DC again this is where we would want to stay!

Another very pleasant stay!

Robby and Steph are great owners and upstairs occupants to work with. They offer a very nice and comfortable for our 3-5 day visits with nearby family. The location works well for us and access to Lincoln Park is a plus. Street parking can be a bit challenging but they easily provide the necessary parking permit for more than 2-hours weekdays. They are extremely quiet and take excellent care of their property.

The Best place to stay in DC

The owners were very receptive and super nice. Stayed in contact with us from arriving until we left. The rental was fabulous! If we forgot something it didn’t matter, they had it there. Beautifully decorated and great entertaining area out back with covered porch. Close to everything!! We loved it! I will be back on my next trip!

Everything we needed!

The property had everything we needed for our stay in the DC area. We enjoyed being able to return after a long day of walking to relax in an immaculately clean space! The property was a quick Uber to most of Washington's attractions and walking distance to some as well. I highly recommend a stay!

Cozy Respite

Robbie and Stephanie's place was perfect for our family of four! The place was spotless and they thought of every amenity that a hotel offers and went beyond. We absolutely loved the location and neighborhood. It was easy getting to all of the sights using the Metro, Uber, and walking. Highly recommend!

A Perfect Neighborhood

The location was the best to walk to the "Hill", restaurants and to walk the neighborhood to see the architecture of the row homes, meet the neighbors and to walk to Lincoln Park just down the block every evening. We felt right at home. The apartment was exactly what we needed for a wonderful get-a-way and had everything we needed to feel at home. This is a great place to stay!

Very enjoyable stay!

Great hosts look after every detail in this lovely space in a safe and welcoming residential neighborhood. Quiet neighbors. Excellent access to park and cafe. Parking pass a great convenience. For tourists it’s a 5-6 block walk to the Eastern Market metro but Ubering would work after a long day.

This property is beautiful& very clean. We stay at many rentals & this is one of the nicest we have seen. Everything has been updated & done nicely, no cutting corners here. The location is great. Easy walk to everything, the mall, coffee shops, restaurants, the park. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to DC

Best Kept Secret

This is an amazing place in an amazing neighborhood, restaurants nearby, bus around the corner, superbly furnished accomodations. Looking forward to our next visit. Robbie and Stephanie, the hosts are exceptional people. If you want to stay on Capitol Hill in a luxury apt. this is it.

Great apartment and location

The location is great- just a few blocks from Eastern Market. The furniture and bed were very comfortable and the whole apartment was very clean.. The small office space was very useful, as well as a walk-in closet, things that we haven’t seen in other properties where we have stayed. Plenty of bedding and extra towels. Communication with the owner was very good. Another plus- parking pass!

Great English Basement at Lincoln Park

We had another lovely stay at Robby and Stephanie's apartment. A top-notch experience that meets our needs for convenient proximity for us to visit family in a pleasant, safe, walk-around neighborhood. The parking pass makes street parking no-hassle. Though occasionally parking can be tight, always available within a block or two if not closer. The hosts are very quiet, very accommodating, very welcoming, and think of everything.

Heart of the City

The host were so welcoming and made sure our stay would be enjoyable. There was an issue with the washer and dryer and we received a credit for the inconvenience. They personalized the stay with a message with my name on it. I loved the home-like decor and the treats available. The home was clean and smelled refreshing. It was truly a home away from home!

Incredible attention to detail

We were very impressed with the amount of work and amenities we had at our disposal during our stay. Wonderful communication and a very generous attitude towards our stay! Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in a dispenser were not some inexpensive brand. Aveda and Neutrogena. K cups, creamer and cookies. We’ve stayed in many, many VRBO properties and this one was easily top three!

Amazing!

This is the perfect location on Capitol Hill! It is within walking distance to the National Mall. We brought our bikes and were able to easily negotiate around and visit all that Washington DC has to offer. The amenities from the welcome sign by the door, complimentary wine, coffee bar, to the numerous device chargers- Robby and Stephanie have thought of everything. The bed is super comfortable.This truly is so cozy and a home away from home. We can’t wait to come back and visit again!

Graduation Weekend

Hands down this has been one of THE best appointed VRBO's we've ever stayed in. The pictures are great but the place itself is even better. Tucked in a great neighborhood by Lincoln Park, it was quiet and comfortable. The back covered patio was a great p[lace to sit with a drink and listen to the water fountain in the beautifully landscape back yard. Robby and Stephanie were amazing hosts. Always available and extremely gracious. We were welcomed by white and red wine on the counter and an impeccably clean place to stay. You will not be disappointed in staying here and there is a great authentic Italian place around the corner called Pacci's. Felt like we were in Italy again. Amazing food and right across from the park. If you're coming to DC - this is a must stay where everything is so accessible but when you are there you feel like you're out of all of it and able to relax. You'll be glad you did! Great Stay – Cheerful, Bright, Cozy, and Clean! My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cottage for four nights. From the very beginning, the hosts were exceptional in their communication for every inquiry throughout the rental process by being prompt, thorough, and courteous. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly with a thank-you note and cheers, making us feel instantly welcome. The accommodations were impeccably clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, plus some delightful extras like tea, hot chocolate, coffee, and biscotti cookies. There were TVs with quality programming in both the living room and bedroom. Wireless phone chargers were placed throughout the space, which was a nice touch. Additionally, they provided an abundance of towels, linens, and quality paper goods, all of which ensured our stay was comfortable. The cottage's décor created a cozy, homey atmosphere with lovely photos, art, and knickknacks that added to its cheerful and bright ambiance. We will definitely seek out this wonderful space for our next visit to Washington and recommend it to our family members as well. Thank you to the hosts for being a significant part of our delightful trip to the DC area, as it was nice to have great accommodations to return to after our long days touring the city. Perfect location for visiting the museums, etc. The apartment is in a lovely historic neighborhood with a Trader Joe’s close by and many fun little neighborhood restaurants. The apartment is very well appointed, clean and comfortable. Loved the A/C on these hot summer days, a definite bonus.

Thought of everything!

Robby and Stefanie have thought of everything! They welcomed us with a bottle of wine, coffee bar, phone chargers, and sound machine. The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. The best part was the location. It was only doors away from my son’s apartment. We will definitely stay with them again!
