Incredible spacious open living area, vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows over looking beautiful Lake Buchanan & Hill Country! Relax on wrap around deck, bird watch, swim in the large pool. Very quiet neighborhood. Fully equipped kitchen with Keurig, comfy furniture, bedroom downstairs has private entrance (only accessible from outside, bathroom is upstairs). Spacious bathroom with jet tub, huge walk-in shower, two sinks, private porch off bathroom. One block to boat ramp, playground, lake access, 5 minute drive to Spider Mountain and Reveille Ranch.
A perfect place to decompress and relax! Strict no parties or extra guest policy.

Everything is just as shown in the pictures. It’s clean and comfortable. We loved the openness and all the windows. Listening to nature and the neighborhood at night was lovely. The pool was surprisingly cold but it has been getting chilly at night. The owner is amazing and we are already looking at taking our whole family in the spring. It’s close to the lake - perfect for fishing!

This place is amazing. It has beautiful views, the pool is perfect and well kept, and the bathroom is fantastic. It has a hug shower and a huge tub with jets which are so relaxing

Quiet and relaxing

Over the 4th of July weekend it was a great quiet experience. Walks around to swimming in the pool are relaxing. We had a great free fireworks show from all around. The house is great, full of amenities and games to keep all busy and having a great time.

Relaxing weekend getaway

The property was just as described. Beautiful home, refreshing pool, lots of birds (hummingbirds, cardinals and more), many deer. Was great to get out of the city and relax. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy nature, the quiet and the stars. Host was responsive to my questions. Would highly recommend.

Secluded and Relaxing

Great property! Home was clean and well stocked. The balcony deck was enjoyed for conversation on the beautiful, breezy mornings. We even named the little birds who occupy the big birdhouse! Beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Loved it!Suggestions:BOTH the Keurig and the regular coffee makers need to be replaced. Keurig does not work at all, and the Hamilton Beach struggles to fill a full pot of coffee - it drips and gurgles for well over an hour to get there. TV - if there are instructions on how to coordinate the remotes to get the direct tv connected and working, we could not find them. Written instructions would be surely appreciated by many of your guests.

Recharge for my honey and me!

Although you could see and hear vehicles driving up the road it still felt secluded and private. Watching the birds and deer was a bonus to the beautiful landscaping around the property. The pool was good size and just what we needed on hot summer days. The house was comfy and spacious. It’s far enough out of town to be “away from it all” but also close enough to run for supplies if you happened to forget something. 10/10 will rent this one again!!

Great place for weekend getaway.

Great location with proximity to inks lake and wineries. HEB less than 15 min away and full kitchen to cook some meals at home. We had a great weekend doing some hikes around inks lake state park, and drank some great wine at Torr Na Lochs winery.Lots of room at the house. Great view from the back porch. Full kitchen with everything you need.

Serene weekend away

Stunning property with beautiful views, open spaces, and ample opportunities to relax. Kind interactions with owner. A delight that we plan to visit in future with our adult children. It has definitely made it onto our shortlist of treasured getaway spots close to Austin.

Cozy Weekend in Burnet

What a wonderful weekend we had in Burnet! The home was lovely, with expansive views of the hill country that you could enjoy from the porch or indoors. Debby was wonderful and checked in with us. Would love to stay here again!

Quiet beautiful home

We had a great stay. The area is quiet and the home is beautiful. It was perfect for our family of five. House was very well stocked too I’ve never stayed at a house that had so much for us to use. Which was perfect for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. Loved the wrap around porch we enjoyed spending time out there relaxing and enjoying the scenery.

BEWARE OF ANTS

Overall, the stay was ok except for the enormous amount of ants, they were everywhere, bedrooms, blankets, bathroom, kitchen. They got into our clothes, we were bitten so badly too many times.

Gorgeous Lakeview Home

The Birds Nest was the perfect place to celebrate a Bachelorette Weekend! The property had all the rooms and beds necessary to accommodate our group. It was a beautiful home with every possible necessity covered. The pool is an amazing spot to relax with the girls, and is secluded and quiet. The location is perfect, with porch views of the lake and a short drive to local hot spots. The owner Debby was fantastic and very responsive! I would absolutely love to bring my family back to this property!! Things to note: There is only one restroom, which we made work but could be an issue for some groups. The twin over full bunk bed is great but there is no ladder for the top bunk. Kids may be able to scale the frame, but for our adults it was not easy and we didn't end up using that bed.
