Clean Well Maintained Cayuga Lake Perfect For Families, Wineries, College Visits

Beautiful three-bedroom single-family home located in the Town of Ithaca. We are only 1.5 miles from downtown Ithaca, but it is a world apart. Private lot with private dock and private swimming and grass area down by the lake. We have two kayaks, a canoe and a fire pit on the property. We keep the house clean and update and renovate the house regularly. Our house electricity is solar, powered by Solar Farms, New York.

We now have a master bathroom and two full bathrooms!!

A great location to visit Cornell University, Ithaca College, The Ithaca Farmer's Market, The Ithaca Commons and the Finger Lakes Wineries. Taughannock Falls, Buttermilk Falls and Treman State Park are all nearby. Easy boat entry at Treman Marina, one mile down the road.

This is fun kitchen to cook in since you are lakeside. Kitchen has sliding glass doors to large lakeside deck. Cherry floors, granite countertops, pendant lights, dishwasher, garbage disposal, oversized fridge, eat-in table with seating for seven. Gorgeous views from almost every room, including 8 windows in the living room, 3 in the master bedroom, 3 windows and a three paneled sliding glass door in the kitchen and a 6 bay window and large picture windows in the downstairs bedroom. The house is renovated and modern. Hardwood floors and beautiful finishing touches everywhere. All kitchen items (pots, pans, plates), sheets, blankets and towels are provided.

Bedrooms: Master w/ fantastic views of Cornell and King Bed. This room has an attached master bathroom with a shower. The downstairs bedroom is the Bay Window Room. This room has fantastic views of the lake, a queen bed, and is near the downstairs bathroom. The second upstairs bedroom has a skylight and two twin beds.

Pet Policy: We allow pets because we love our dogs and they love to travel with us. This is a great place for dogs, not only because they can go swimming, but because the deck and grass are all fenced in. You can let the dog out from the kitchen without even leaving the house. You must clean up after your pet, of course. We charge only a $40 fee for dogs that we spend on end of the year professional carpet cleaners. Note: If your dog is elderly then this might not be a great house with all the steps.

Cleaning:
House is professionally cleaned between tenants. Cleaners provide the beds made with clean sheets.

Who Can Rent:
It is a quiet area and is not appropriate for loud/late-night parties. We do not allow additional guests.

Our property is steep. There is a long stair case to the house from the driveway. All tenants and guests must be able to navigate stair with ease. Unfortunately it is not handicapped accessible.

Winter: Our house is a real year-round house and you can set the thermostat to whatever is comfortable. We usually do not plow or shovel the lower driver in winter since it is pretty steep. Winter tenants will have to walk from the upper parking (or even from the road in serious snow) to the house.
