In the center of Stowe village with a river view. We are close to everything, including a trout stream and forest in the backyard!

3-bedroom, 2.5-bath, tastefully furnished townhouse with 2 decks overlooking Little River and the forest beyond while still being close to restaurants, and shops.

Gas fireplace, Jacuzz tub, dishwasher, washer/dryer, speedy wireless Internet service.

We have sharp knives, a pantry full of spices, abundant cookware, a cook's delight. Guests are invited to store skis, snowboards, or bikes in our garage.

Shuttle and Stowe Rec Path are nearby. Non-smoking rental. (Sleeps 6.)

Everything about the property was welcoming and felt like home. The decor, the comfy chairs by the fire, the comfortable beds and the books on the bookshelves and the coffee pods in the kitchen.

This rental was fabulous! It is a very clean, well-maintained property and is very equipped. The location is very convenient with a short walk to the Stowe downtown area and a grocery store right next door. The host communication was excellent, and good instructions are provided at the property. I often rent through VRBO, and this is certainly one of the best properties I have stayed at. I highly recommend!

Love this place!

We were visiting from FL with our 3 children ages 7, 11 and 14. Our kids like to run wild outside so they could play in the snow in the side yard which was great. The condo is 3 levels and has nice finishes and furniture so beware if you have toddlers or children that cannot behave indoors. This place was perfect for us to relax indoors, comfortable and homey. This is not simply a rental but a comfortable place to stay and relax. We like to eat in so were pleased that the adjacent grocery store had good produce and prices were similar to our grocery at home.we stayed 3 nights, next time I would stay 7 there’s tons to explore nearby,ski or not!

This was the perfect location and environment and place to stay! Our hosts were kind and thoughtful and provided everything we could possibly need in a beautiful environment. We highly recommend and will stay again!

Great place and great location

This place is in a perfect spot to visit Stowe. It’s in walking distance to the main streets of the town, while also backing up onto a beautiful stream and trees. Our group of 6 had everything we wanted for our stay, including a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a welcoming homey feel.

Snowy Getaway

This is our second visit to the lovely property which is clean and conveniently located in the town of Stowe. Walking to shops and restaurants, grocery shopping, hiking and taking the free shuttle to the mountain are all a snap!

Second time stay

We rented this during Covid and loved it! It’s quiet, nicely decorated and very well supplied with anything you could need. The gentle sound of the river is soothing and makes the stay so calm and cozy. There’s the perfect grocery store you can walk to in no more than a minute and if you feel like walking into town, that too is all right there. The hosts are excellent, informative, easily accessible, and always kind. If we go back to Stowe, without question this would be where we’d want to be.

Beautiful Home in Stowe!

The house was perfect in every way. Clean, relaxing, with everything you need. Short walk to the grocery and downtown Stowe w restaurants and shops and to our delight sledding. Loved the layout of the rooms w big windows overlooking gorgeous trees and river. I would highly recommend this house. We stayed here with our 2 sons in their 20s. Went skiing for a couple of days and explored the area. Also, lots of snow!!

Great stay in Stowe

The condo was perfect for our family of four. Easy parking and located right next to the grocery store, which made for easy snacks and dinners. The kitchen has everything you might need for a stay. Beds were comfortable and the scenery was great. Overall great time for our family!

Wonderful Stay in the heart of Stowe Village

There's not enough space to adequately review this property. Having stayed at several upscale rentals in the area, Don's place is 'hands down' my favorite. Every single detail has been considered which tells you immediately that this is not merely a vacation rental but someone's well-loved, organized, and meticulously maintained home. And what a lovely home it is - just steps from all our favorite restaurants and shops. Being 100ft away from an actual grocery store is amazingly convenient (esp. in the snow). The entertainment options are excellent with a wide range of TV and streaming options. The kitchen is made for a chef - and even when I thought

Fantastic Stay

This home is just perfect in Stowe. It is walkable to downtown, but quiet and peaceful. The back decks overlook the river, creating a lovely sound. The home itself is quant yet modern. It was one of the best stocked homes we have stayed in, with plenty of paper towels, dish soap, even laundry detergent. Many nice amenities too, the hosts are so thoughtful and included what travelers would need to make meals at home. The hosts communicated along the way and offered suggestions about the town of Stowe and even where we should go to watch the eclipse. The Huffman's were the most gracious hosts we have ever stayed with. Truly wonderful. You can not go wrong by choosing this home for your time in Stowe. We would absolutely stay again if we return to this area.

Wonderful winter getaway!

This was a lovely house to stay in and a very professional, courteous host. The location is perfect - right in the heart of Stowe, next to a grocery, some art galleries and several restaurants. The ski area is 15 minutes away by car, or you can take the ski shuttle. The house was lovely, with a great New England feel. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and an infant. The water was hot, the beds were comfortable and it was easy to check in and check out! We were very pleased with our stay and loved having a chance to ski in Vermont!

Dream House

We loved everything about our stay. Most of all, the views from every room in the house are beautiful. You can open the sliding glass door and listen to the water flow in the river. The place is quiet and serene and provides all amenities your heart desire, all kinds of supplies, cooking ware, fire place... The beds are also very comfortable. As soon as you step out, there are many great restaurants, bakeries, local stores within walking distance. The owners were available if we had any questions and ensured we enjoyed our stay. I would return and stay there again and again, felt so cozy, warm and inviting.

great location

the property was the perfect size for our 5 adults. it had everything you could possibly need or want from the kitchen to the bathrooms. Only wished it had 2 showers instead of 1 shower and 1 bathtub. Loved that it is right next door to a grocery store.
