Cozy Nook is perfectly located on Route 108, the "Mountain Road" between Stowe village and Stowe Mountain resort. We are conveniently located across the street from Stowe's famous bike and recreation path. Jump on your bike and ride into town or take a leisurely stroll next to the beautiful Little River! We are a few miles from Bingham water falls, world class hiking and mountain biking. In the winter, you can cross country ski right out the front door to an amazing network of trails for free or just stay cuddled up by a toasty fire.

The home was very clean and the owner was extremely accommodating and helpful with my disabled mom. He made sure we had what we needed to make things easier for my mom. Thank you Ed for your AMAZING hospitality and great info about the area and the pizza at piecaso was delicious.

Wonderful stay, great location

A bunch of coworkers stayed at the house for two nights to go ski the weekend at Stowe. It was a nice house with lots of space. Fireplace was a plus! Great stay, very easy check in and check out, and perfect location. Would definitely stay again!

Another great stay

We stayed at Eduardo's home last year and like it so much we chose to come back and stay again this year. Plenty of room and feels homey and comfortable. Has everything you need for a great stay and is in a great location!

Beautiful and well-stocked private home

The house was very cozy with decor, bedding, and all the kitchen and bath things that you would need. We had 3 adults and 2 kids with plenty of space to relax and eat meals together. Was a great property for the family. Just a note for future renters, no shoes in the house and lots of hard surfaces, so bring some house slippers.

Private, Convenient House

Our family stayed for three nights around New Years 2025. The house was spacious and comfortable. Beds were very nice, as were the showers and jacuzzi tub. Wood fireplace kept us extra warm amidst cold weather. Driveway was plowed each morning as we had significant snow during the stay. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Only 10 minute drive to Stowe ski mountain and to town. The hosts were excellent and communicative! We would stay again!

Great location

We had a great stay, perfect location for skiing and shops and barely can tell you’re on the main road. Description of house was slightly misleading as it listed a “hot tub” but really it was a “jetted tub”. Also the stovetop was very difficult & scary to operate as it kept “clicking” to light despite it being lit. Needs to be replaced.

Perfect Stay at Perfectly!

I'm one of those people who wipes everything down with Clorox wipes when I arrive at a hotel or rental and this was the first time I felt that would be completely unnecessary. Edwardo' house is clean, has a large and well appointed kitchen, plenty of extra sheets and blankets, puzzles for the kids and a very spacious living area. Edwardo was very responsive and had a super helpful guest guide book. The house has a beautiful back deck and backyard for the kids to run around. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful Town

We stayed in Cozy Nook for 3 nights in Stowe. The property was well equipped. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out inside and outside. The home was located on a large private lot and we were able to enjoy the outdoors and relax. The property was within driving distance of many local activities and sights. Communication with Ed was great. We communicated via text and phone. He was attentive to our needs and answered our questions quickly. We really enjoyed our stay on the property and would recommend it to others visiting the area.

Perfect for 3 generations

This was a great fit for our leaf-peeping trip that included 3 generations of our family. We wanted to be able to relax together as a group of seven after long days of activity, and eat in occasionally. The living and kitchen areas were really lovely and comfortable for all that. The outdoor areas are nice and lovingly maintained. My uncle who has trouble walking was able to get around easily on the open floor plan. The kids were able to let their hair down in a kid-friendly spot that was still very nice and comfy. Nice cooking implements, plenty of sleeping space. Communication with hosts was easy -- they even left us some fresh hydrangeas. We would stay again, and we recommend it!

Truly 5 star getaway

My senior mother and I spent a few nights here as we explored the beauty of Vermont this Fall. The house was very easy for my mother to move around in and We both found the house cozy and comfortable. This cabin feels private within its own beautifully landscaped space - Quietly tucked across from a very large public park with a farmers market on the weekend. Despite its remote feel the cabin is conveniently located to everything. There is a grocery store about 10 minute drive.. It’s maybe eight minutes to smugglers notch where I enjoyed an outstanding hike on a beautiful fall day. The downtown area is equidistant at about a 10 minute drive to some amazing restaurants and shopping. The house was comfortable with luxury linens, soft plush towels and ann and every cooking utensil a chef’s heart might desire. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. The master is especially luxurious with its spa tub and dual showers. You’d be crazy not to choose this place to stay on your next vacation Also be sure to try pie-Casio pizza in town, the service and food were outstanding. One of my other favorite escapes while I was in town was the gondola ride… I grinned my freaking face off. It’s all of five minutes from the cabin. Which if you’re still young enough to go skiing will also be a perk for you during the snowy season. I’ve already told many people that I would love to recommend this place for future visit for their families; and I certainly hope I get to visit again.

House was in great condition and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The owners were very responsive with one question I had during our stay. Highly recommend and would stay there again. Minutes to the ski mountain was a huge plus.

Nice getaway, centrally located in Stowe

Nice property. Largely as advertised, the house was spacious and reasonably well laid out. We particularly liked the vaulted ceilings in the great room and master bedroom. The master bedroom was quite comfortable and we enjoyed the attached master bedroom and jetted tub. Kitchen is reasonably well appointed. A minor note of improvement would be to improve the lighting in the kitchen, which becomes difficult after dark outside. The house is very centrally located (perhaps even more so that I had realized from the Vrbo add), directly off Vt 100 across from "Topnotch field". Be warned that there are many weekend activities here and around the area. Access to the house is likely to be complicated by lengthy traffic during these periods. On the other hand, you are within minutes drive of virtually every service in Stowe and within slightly longer drives to Waterbury. Overall, this was a good find for a Vermont getaway, right in the heart of some of the best areas of Vermont in general. We will be looking into returning next year.

Great location for plenty of adventures!

This was a great place for our family. The kids had plenty of space, the kitchen was easy to use, and Ed was great with communication! The bike trail was a bit harder to get to than just crossing the street, but still easy. The other hikes, waterfalls and things in town were all so easy to get to.

I moved to Stowe in 1999 to open a pizza restaurant called Piecasso and to live a skiers life style. I met my wife Sarah in 2001 and have had 3 beautiful children since. Our little cozy nook became a little to small for our growing family so we decided to build a home right up the road. We loved and cared for our home and can't wait to share it with future guests like you.
