The Space:
This cozy cottages offer the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and safety for your stay in Oscoda, MI. Cottage features a queen bedroom overlooking Lake Huron, fully-equipped kitchen, cozy living room with futon, lake access, private walkout patio & grill, fire pit, yard games & play equipment, beach chairs, outdoor shower, lightning-fast WiFi & TV, multiple A/C units to keep all guests cool (no central air) and complete privacy throughout your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests will have exclusive access to the Captains Watch cottage at The Beach Club which has 3 additional cottages on the property. The property is self-check-in, so please carefully read the check-in instructions prior to arrival. Property amenities are lake access, private walkout patio, grill & fire pit, yard games & play equipment, beach chairs and outdoor shower. You have around-the-clock access to your space through our custom-coded keypad deadbolt locks. To ensure your safety, all of our properties are equipped with Ring video doorbell cameras and Noise Aware decibel measuring devices inside the unit (Please note: Noise Aware devices do not have recording features).

Getting Around:
Oscoda is a small, car-friendly town. Public transportation like buses or trains is unavailable, so having a car is recommended for exploring beyond town. Car rentals, taxis, and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are accessible. Biking and walking are common, with various trails, beaches, parks, and recreational areas within easy reach on foot or by bike.

Other Things to Note:
Book with confidence at this property, as they offer a risk-free cancellation policy allowing you to cancel up to 1 day before check-in for a full refund. However, local residents must obtain prior authorization before booking to maintain property integrity and ensure safety.

To enhance safety and security, all guests must sign a rental agreement and complete the Enso Connect verification process, which includes ID and selfie uploads. Guests will receive an online boarding pass with access instructions.

Property listed as non-pet friendly but we may make exceptions for non-shedding, non-aggressive dog breeds. Pet fees will apply, and a photo of the animal is required prior to booking. No puppies, dogs must be potty trained and under 30lbs. Guests must agree to clean up after pet (indoor & outdoor; fur, food, feces, etc), keep dogs on a leash, or face potential additional fees. Subject to violate any of these terms or conditions, guest will be required to leave property with no refund of reservation.

Guests are responsible for maintaining the propane tank and firewood is not provided. The property does not exchange or fill the propane tank after each guest use.

Long Term Rentals (30 days or more) may require a security deposit.

Enjoy our complimentary starter kit of guest supplies, including coffee, trash bags, paper towel, and toilet paper, where applicable. Please note that any extra supplies desired beyond the starter kit are the responsibility of the guests.
