Family get away

We enjoyed our stay at George’s lakeside. Plenty of room for 3 families. The grounds were great as well.

Perfect friends reunion location

Loved everything about the home. Especially the fact that the house has so many rooms. Large groups of people don’t feel crowded at all. And a wonderful place for friends to gather and enjoy special meals and time together. We will be back next year!

Great Family Reunion!

The level access to the lake and sandy, gently sloping beach were great! The house had enough separate living areas to allow folks to visit. Or not! (Living room with TV, great room with views of the lake, and 3 season room with ping pong table. We already reserved it again next summer, and can’t wait!

Cabin rental

Disappointed, House smells most of the light bulbs didn't work tv didn't work not a nice place for what it costs.

I’m disappointed to read your review. We have had no reports on any of this and heard nothing from you while you where in the home. If indeed the TV wasn’t working or there where bulbs out we would have been happy to send someone out to correct the issue. Again we have had rentals after you as well with no reports of any issues. I’d encourage other prospective renters to read the other reviews and take this with a grain of salt. Jon

The carpets need to be cleaned. The internet was not functional. The cleaning crew could do a bit better. We were there for two weeks. It would have been nice to have a few cleaning supplies to use mid-stay. Both vacuums had completely full bags. I did change the one so I could use it.

Annual Fall Family Vacation

Just as Advertised

Seven Old Friends got together at George's Place for a weekend of golf, cards, stories and comradery. The weather didn't cooperate relative for golfing, but, the spaciousness, authenticity and comfort of George's did not disappoint. The lakeside firepit was a great venue to rehash old stories and relate new ones. Perfect.

Lake side joy

Lovely and perfect for several families or large groups due to number of baths and beds. Beautiful and quite area to savor lake side living at its best.

Beautiful property!

This home was perfect for our family. Extremely spacious with two big living rooms and a well equipped kitchen. The view was gorgeous looking out to the beautiful lake. The kids loved the large yard and firepit. We rented the boat which was a big plus. Would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful View

We had a great time at the cabin! The view was amazing. The cabin was very clean and had a nice layout for a large family. Our dogs loved playing in the water by the dock. We enjoyed the fire pit for s’mores. Nice size yard to play yard games. Overall a great place to stay. The lake was gorgeous as well!

Awesome Fall Getaway Cabin

This place is amazing! We had an awesome time w bonfires, rented pontoon, and hiking around the area. The only issue was we were not able to get the TVs to bring up cable. We used the tv to play an internet game but could not get any tv stations. Could have been issue on our end!

Lots of room for a large group. Very pleased with gentle approach to the lake.

Would have given 5 stars, but were unable to use TV due to the DISH not being checked prior to our stay. It was damaged. Also, we had to provide our own firewood for campfire. Over all the stay was very nice

GREAT Cabin!!!

The cabin was GREAT! It had lots of things to do, ping pong, yard games, fire pit (with fire wood) a huge yard and lake front! We also rented a pontoon and that was a great addition! The cabin it self was huge and very homey. It had many large rooms (family, dinning, kitchen, porch) we all filled up the dinning room table many times with our family of 12 (us, our kids, our grand kids!) it was the perfect place for a large family get away!

Great Family Get Together

Lots of room for family to gather. The views are spectacular! We never left the property the four days we were there except to take pontoon rides.

Family vacation

This was truly as close to a perfect vacation as one could get -- and I say that even though the kitchen sink developed a leak mid-week (which was immediately addressed) . The weather was glorious, biking was great, swimming was just right with clear water and a sandy bottom, the pontoon boat was really fun, and the kitchen was easy to work in with everything one could possibly need. We were able to seat everyone around the big dining room table for lovely meals. We brought several yard games and played badminton and croquet. We plan to return next year.

Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for each couple. The large open yard was ideal for games. The boat launch was great for kayaks and getting into the crystal clear water for swimming. But the best thing was the incredible lake view which was 5 stars!
