Our PRIVATELY-OWNED and independently-rented condo, is named for its location and great sunsets on the famous coastline of west Maui.


Our condo has the best location on the property! The location of the Red Pin on the VRBO aerial photo view is misleading. This condo is located in the building on the left side of the aerial view next to the ocean...we offer a full unobstructed oceanfront view!


SUNSETSHORESMAUI is our pride and joy. It is our home on Maui and we maintain it to high standards. Oceanfront, views of both Lanai and Molokai, End Unit, Wrap-around lanai, 3BD / 3Bath, thoughtfully furnished. We have it all!


We are the actual OWNERS and truly care about our guests because you are OUR guests--not the guests of a rental agent or booking site with limited knowledge of our condo. Memories of your Maui vacation will last a lifetime.


Walls of glass in the living room and dining room provide amazing views of the ocean and shoreline. The ocean becomes part of the condo! We are not exaggerating when we say that the location and view are incomparable, and our many returning guests will agree. The sunsets are incredible!

During the winter, you can even watch the whales from inside your condo. And year-round, the resident turtles swim along the shoreline. Relax and watch the surfers and ocean activities from your large lanai. Or swim from the shore (ocean conditions permitting).


SunsetShoresMaui is on the second floor of a 2-acre tropical low-rise resort and is ideally-located for privacy and relaxation. The resort recently underwent a year long renovation with new windows and doors, new exterior siding, and modern common areas. We have a newly-renovated oceanfront heated pool area with a popular spa/hot tub, new gas bbqs and a social area with great views of Molokai and Lana'i.


If you are coming to Maui to relax and enjoy the beauty of the island and the sea, then this is where you want to be. The uncrowded tropical grounds are a wonderful spot to relax, enjoy the fragrant Maui breezes, gaze at the ocean, watch the surfers ride the waves, sip a tropical drink, and watch the sea turtles as they swim by. No hidden additional fees. Our only charges are the nightly Rent, plus our Cleaning Fee, plus Hawaii Taxes of 17.92%. The Host Fee listed on this site is our Cleaning Fee. As OWNERS, NOT Property Managers or Rental Agents, we do not have additional fees. We do not have control of any other charges or Service Fees that may be added by this site.


3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths. Comfortably sleeps up to 6 people maximum.


* Main Bedroom: Main level. Comfortable Sterns & Foster king-size bed, tropical bamboo flooring, and its own ensuite bathroom with a vanity topped with granite and an open walk-in glass shower. Smart "Samsung Frame" streaming TV.


* Second Queen bedroom, Main Level: Pillow-top queen-size bed, tropical bamboo flooring, and its own flat panel smart TV.


* Main Bedroom in Upstairs private loft: Newly-furnished with a comfortable Sealy Hybrid king-sized mattress and newly remodeled bathroom with great shower and vanity area. Smart TV.


* Linens and Towels, including Beach Towels, are provided.


* Our condo and its lanai are NON-SMOKING (no smoking, vaping or e-cigs) as are ALL of the common areas of the property. No animals permitted in or on property.


* Living and Dining Rooms are well-furnished for your comfort with ample seating, a cathedral ceiling, new 55" Samsung smart TV, with a sound bar and those wonderful VIEWS!


* We think that the view from our dining room is better than most of the restaurants on the island. And you have your choice of dining inside, or outside at the table on your lanai...both are great options!


* The remodeled open kitchen has custom cabinets, granite countertops, quality stainless appliances, and a kitchen island. It is fully-equipped with everything (and more) that you need for a great meal. Service for 12.


* Bathroom and large shower are new in the loft bedroom.


* Fire Sprinkler system in entire condo.


* New flooring, windows and doors in entire condo.


* Mahinahina is the name of our location. We are SIX (6) MILES NORTH of LAHAINA...midway BETWEEN KAANAPALI and KAPALUA. We are conveniently close to shopping, restaurants, and golf courses. But, most importantly, we are far enough away from the noise and congestion of the busy resort areas so that you can enjoy the natural beauty of Maui, which we assume is what you came for.


As the actual OWNERS of SunsetShoresMaui, not agents or managers, we obviously think that it's a wonderful place to stay. After you have stayed here, we are sure that you will also agree. We have taken care to furnish the condo to be comfortable and have everything you need for your vacation. We are hands-on owners who take great pride in our Maui home.
