Itā€™s probably because of the extensive list of on-site amenities, including a newly-renovated outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub. The gift shop is the perfect spot to grab gifts for friends back home and youā€™ll find everything you need for a great workout in our fitness facility. Settle in and truly unwind in the sauna or steam room, and relax with complimentary DVD rentals. Sit seaside in a beach chair with an umbrella (fee) and enjoy seasonal amenities, including an outdoor tiki bar. With over 3,000 sq. ft. of meeting room space, SunDestin Beach Resort is the perfect place to host your family reunions, weddings or business meetings. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk should any questions arise.



SunDestin Unit 1414 is a vibrant one bedroom, one and one half bathroom condo accommodating up to four. With sorbet-colored walls and bright, tropical furnishings, this unit sets the stage for some fun in the sun. The fully-appointed kitchen is spacious, with plenty of cabinet and counter space, and all can enjoy freshly-prepped meals comfortably at the dining table for four. Watch a game on the flat-screen TV while lounging in the living room in this open-concept living/dining area. Enjoy breathtaking views from the balcony with plenty of seating for all. When the sun finally sets, recline on the queen sleeper sofa in the living room or in the master suite with a king-sized bed, flat screen television, and en suite bathroom for added convenience.



Start the next morning at HarborWalk Marina in the Destin harbor, just five minutes away! Rent waverunners, a pontoon boat, or a kayak and behold the crystal clear waters of the emerald coast up close and personal!



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout theirĀ  stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

There was some construction going on and parking was a little scarce, aside from that this was the best experience and stay. I loved being able to walk to the beach from the condo. The restaurant, the gift shop and how convenient everything was. The front desk staff was amazing and super nice!!!

Just what we needed

Sundestin was fabulous! From the location, the staff, and the ease of check in and check out, I couldn\'t be happier. We had an oceanfront condo and Sundestin is only steps away from the beach and the ocean. We were able to check in quickly And early after a looonngg 18 hour drive from NJ. We checked out in middle of night with just a click on an email link. Staff was always super friendly and we never had to look for someone if we had a question; they were readily available.

We had a great stay. The Sundestin is in a wonderful location and has great amenities on the ground floor. The room was decent. Itā€™s definitely meant for two people, we had four and it was tight. The Wi-Fi didnā€™t work and we never had luck connecting to the other rooms Wi-Fi, like instructed by the front desk. The LDV beach chair rental is awesome to have on site and itā€™s very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Improvements

The kitchen countertop needs some improvement. The chairs on the balcony need to be higher with a high table. The shower head needs to be reduced because it floods the tub and the drain cannot keep up, otherwise our stay was fabulous! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Love it!

Great location! Great place!

We loved our 4 night stay at the SunDestin Resort. The pricing was too good to not take up, there was some construction going on but we didn't hear any of it as most of our time was spend on the beach or we were out and about during the day. Our room was clean upon arrival and all the essentials we needed, they had some tubber ware which we appreciated to bring down leftovers to the beach. The first night we were trying to watch some TV and had some difficulty with all the remotes, we asked the front desk and the security guard gentleman came up to our room with us and helped - at this point he is security + IT. I would recommend 1414 to all my friends the views were amazing! It was great being able to walk outside and be at the beach and as long as you closed the curtains you would come back to a cool space. The separate umbrella/chairs rental company was easy and loved that they had a on site location in the back to request last minute accommodations. We heard about this place through a colleague and are so thankful they recommended this place! My only complaint was the rug needs a wash or be replaced and the recliner has seen better days but that didn't prevent us from enjoying our stay.

Nice but disappointing

Donā€™t bother bringing your own beach equipment other than a chair, La Dolce Vita is the company that monopolizes the beach front, and you are not allowed to set up your own umbrella/tent to sit in unless you are about 50 yards away from the beach, youā€™re forced to rent from them and theyā€™re four rows deep of umbrellas to the beach front, so even if you do rent from them, you probably wonā€™t get a beach front umbrella. I have never been to the beach in my life and not been allowed to use my own umbrella. Community washer and dryer, they are not located in your room. The room/view was nice, however clearly needing some major renovations/replacement baseboards/walls. Decent trip but overall very disappointed in the beach access.

Great location

It was clean and a great location. Easy checkin. Parking got full at night but thatā€™s common in condos. Bed and couch was hard and somewhat uncomfortable but not terrible, just used to mine I guess. Overall would stay again.

Awesome stay good view of the beach

Property was clean and well kept up couch had a pull out bed if you have more that two people. Kitchen had everything we could have needed. Bed was a little hard but not to bad. I like it had two opening to the balcony one from the living room area and one in the bedroom. We slept with the bedroom open to hear the waves at night. The room was a corner view to the ocean but was still great view and could also see the city at night. Wish they had a ceiling fan in the bedroom thay provided a box fan but it needed to be dusted out and didnt work either so a ceiling fan would have been nice. Wish the resort would heat the outdoor pool during fall season like the indoor pool. The gift shop inside sold beer and wine which was conveinent but it is a little pricey. Went for my birthday and It was an amazing stay overall. We will be going back.

The view was absolutely gorgeous.

The hotel manager upon arrival ruined the initial moments of arrival; which, left us doubting our choice of stay. When we arrived, we asked about our room to check in...the manager yelled say your the 4th person asking about room availability. Saying it is not ready until 11:00am. Since, we had noone else to ask because he was behind the counter - my inquiry was are you not the customer service person? When we arrived back at the hotel after getting off the plane at 11:00 am ...his disposition had improved. We were then turned away a second time saying it would not be ready until 4:00 pm. However he did call us an 30 minutes later. Never should this happen! It ruined our initial moral and excitement. In addition, the hotel lobby had a smell or an odor upon arrival. Our initial experience could have been pleasant, it was our first vacation. That poor customer service set the memory and tone for the trip.
