A beautiful unobstructed beachfront view can be yours from your own private balcony and condo right on the most beautiful beaches in Florida! Kick back in your own comfortable balcony lounge chair and enjoy gorgeous sunsets!

Our condo has been newly professionally decorated with tasteful and comfortable furnishings . We're located on the 9th floor, directly facing the beach The resort has a Tiki bar overlooking the beach, an indoor/outdoor heated pool, a baby pool, a large outdoor pool with a waterfall.

Jacuzzi overlooking the beach, beach umbrella and chair rentals, barbecue grills overlooking the pools, workout facility with steam room and sauna (at no charge), and the most beautiful white sandy beaches and emerald green water in the country.

The pool, Jacuzzi, and workout facility at the Terrace is also available for your use. The pool there has full sun all day, and the Jacuzzi is attached to the pool, and heated year round. Sorry, no pets are allowed on the resort

Our unit received the highest possible rating and features a comfortable king sized master bedroom and private bath, hall bunk bed area with an additional full bath and a queen sized sleeper sofa, comfortable chair in the living room. Balcony features comfortable lounge chairs .Location is always key and Pelican Beach Resort is very conveniently located.

The Condo is right across the street from the Big Kahuna's water park, very close to shopping and numerous great restaurants as well as many other resort activities. This newly remodeled Condo is a great value right in the heart of Destin! Check our calendar for all current availability.

I always keep it and my rate schedule updated so you don't have to waste time waiting for emails.

Will stay again!

Great place, we loved the view of the ocean from the balcony. Perfect location, right on the beach. Very clean but bathrooms could use a little updating. The hall beds could use better mattresses. Very nice to have a full kitchen so we could cook some of our meals. Overall we had a great time!

Celebration with the hubs

My husband and I enjoyed a weeklong stay during July 4th week to celebrate life and good health. I was a little nervous of the condo based on reviews but there were slim pickins by the time I made the reservation so I went for it. I was NOT DISAPPOINTED! The most important part for me is the view from the balcony and IT WAS PHENOMENAL! Expansive views of the beach and close enough to hear the waves. Watched dolphins playing in the water one morning during coffee. Balcony is shaded all day so it was a great spot to hide from the sun occasionally and to ride out a few summer storms.Yes, the condo is just basically stocked but it has a blender, toaster, and coffee maker - which was enough for us! Furniture was comfortable, although my husband would have preferred more comfy balcony furniture (but he just recently had back surgery). There are 3 main pools and a few hot tubs on this property so there's usually a set of chairs you can find. The pools were clean and cool and the hot tub was HOT! :)Families brought fireworks to the beach on July 4th so we enjoyed a free, fantastic show from our balcony!To respond to an earlier review...yes, the baseboards have seen better days but overall, the condo was in good shape and clean. My only complaint about the condo would be the low-flow showerheads. Took me forever to rinse my hair! Oh well. If that's the worse part, I think I had a terrific vacation! :)

Beach Vacy without the kids

Our stay was wonderful. The accommodations were great. The on-site restaurant is amazing. The pools were nice. The tiki bar was great. First time we had ever been and had free delivery to the beach. The property is right on the beach couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Minor investments could make this a 9/10

The property needs improvements that wouldnt cost a ton of money. The master bed and especially bunk beds are very uncomfortable. The balcony furniture is broken. Couch is very basic and uncomfortable badeboards are very beat up might be soaking up wayer in some areas. Trim on dentry door would rip off when trying to senter the property. A simple 6-8k makeover could make this a great stay, its not there currently.

Great value for the money

We didnt pay top dollar so i didnt expect a 5 star unit. It was very adequate for our family and worked just fine. The kitchen is quite understocked and there is only 2 barstools but other than that it was great. Resort was nice and i would recommend this unit.

Fabulous view

Room 907 has a wonderful view of the gulf. Everything works, the host was very accommodating, front desk is very helpful. The condo has everything we needed. Walmart is a short Uber ride away. We bought kitchen supplies like oil, salt, pepper, paper towels, toilet paper, food etc Only comment would be for a better mattress on the bunk beds Pools are heated and clean. Location is perfect for the beach and proximity to groceries and the best restaurants. Hoping to be back next year. Maybe in May. April is still chilly and windy

Back to school beach trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was great and Pelican Resort is a great place to stay. Awesome location and amenities. John answered every question we had. We will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with the resort, owner and the city of Destin! Beautiful and comfortable condo. The owner was always fast to answer any questions I may have in regards to the trip. I will definitely be returning!!

Great view

The lady that checked us in was rude. We was also told we would receive a call when our room was ready and that the cleaners had up until 6pm. We didnt receive a call, so at 6pm we went in to the front desk to check the status of our room. The gentlemen was super nice and apologized that our room had been ready for awhile. We didnt care for the 128 beach chairs and umbrellas that are setup in front that you had to rent for $45. We can see settling up some but not 4 rows. This takes away from those not able to rent to miss out on the view. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Family trip

The door was very hard to open and shut because it was off of alignment. I did mention it to the front desk when we checked out. Everything was clean and we had a great time!

Good spring break

It was a comfortable condo with a beautiful balcony view of of the ocean. We even saw a pod of dolphins every morning while sipping our coffee! The kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals. The beach is kept clean and you can swim(it’s a little chilly in March, but still enjoyable, the weather is not their fault by the way). You can find so many sea shells. My kids loved the bunk beds as well. The pools on the property are heated and has two hot tubs as well. The internet is also very fast. My husband was raving about how fast he could download his games. We really liked it. The only complaint that I have is the bunk bed mattresses were thin. my oldest child slept in the bottom bunk and you could feel the boards through the mattres, she complained that it hurt her back a little.

Nice stay

We enjoyed staying at this condo in this resort. Great beach! The only bummer was the balconies were closed for renovations, and the pool was also closed, which we didn't know about when booking. But other than that, we would stay again. Lots of friendly people!

Loved the condo even though there was constant work being done on the entire property. Really wish we would have had access to the deck as it was a gorgeous waterfront/beach view that was obstructed due to construction.

Just what we needed

This Unit provided exactly what we were looking for. A clean home base from which we could make daily excursions to enjoy a beach vacation. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Would definitely come back again. The only thing to be aware of is that despite the listing having a check in time of 4:00 p.m., the Condo staff did not have the room cleaned so we could check in until after 5:00 p.m. The host had no control over this, and so we didn't think it was a big deal. But future occupants should be aware.

Family week

Great location on Destin Beach. We like being somewhat high, so 9th floor was nice! The resort staff do a really good job of keeping the resort clean. The beach is very busy and not a ton of room during the middle of the day, but it was great for our family of four.

My Opinion

The owner was very responsive when I reached out to him. Yes, some of the baseboard have water damage that was mentioned in another review, but who cares. It didn’t effect my stay. Great view, and decent place. The furniture has been updated. Only concern if I had one would be the fan in the bedroom clicks all night, and no usb plugs for phone charging. Overall a solid stay, that I would consider again.

Property was clean and view was amazing. Would stay there again. The people next door liked to have their morning cigarette on the patio which was rather unpleasant since it left my allergies messed up. Was unhappy that the one hot tub and pool closed at dusk. Seemed a little ridiculous!!! There was a good two hours of daylight after it closed. Besides, who wants to sit in the hot tub when th sun is glaring down? However, it's quite relaxing right before bed. Also, the front desk called to tell us we were supposed to be out of there at 10 when my reservation clearly said checkout was at 11. Told me no, checkout was 10.

Great location

Lobby of the resort is a little worn looking but the newly improved pool and hot tub areas were wonderful. Our unit that we rented was very functional and clean but also looking a little worn, it could use a little cosmetic improvements. I realize that would also have to increase the nightly cost but the location overlooking the water was amazing.
