Apartment block "Silberhorn", built in 2002. 350 m from the centre of Wengen, on a slope, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet. In the house: central heating system. Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, supermarket 350 m, restaurant 200 m, bar, bakery 350 m, 5 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.4 km, railway station "Wengen" 350 m, outdoor swimming pool 500 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 400 m, children's playground 200 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

Paradise in Wengen

If you are looking for a cozy and warm two bedroom apartment rental, then DW Silberhorn is for you. We have stayed in this unit multiple times and it always exceeds our expectations. Views are amazing from the deck and its location allows for easy trips to the COOP, the Tanne Bar, or my favorite, Coffee To Go. Thank you Christiane for giving us another memorable stay

Could have used instructions for stove and dishwasher.. wish had access to washer dryer. Think shower was on a timer for hot water turn on; took a cold shower at 6 am would not turn hot. Other than that, great view, well stocked, good location!

Perfect place for a family

What a hidden gem this place is! Fairly easy walk with a slight slope up, full kitchen to make nice meals and a huge wrap around porch! We stayed in Wengen for several weeks al several different chalets and this one was easily the most livable. She was just perfect!

Great to have breakfast on the balcony and enjoy the views. Clean and well stocked. No laundry though . Definately a great place to stay

Nice appartement with great view

Great appartement for 4 people with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Nicely decorated and well equiped. Great montain views. Very quiet and close to the center of the village.

Fabulous family vacation

Could not fault this fantastic apartment, it had everything we needed and was welcoming and cosy. It was really clean and the beds were extra comfortable. The views were breathtaking and the location was stunning. We hope very much to stay there again in the future.

Not a bad place, but If I had known all the details on this one, I would have booked elsewhere. It’s a barebones kind of place run by a business rather than a home owner. No personal touches that make a place special. It’s a 10-15 minute uphill walk that wasn’t pleasant with luggage or on the days we returned super tired. There is a checklist for the checkout that you have to sign agreeing that you have done those things. Not a problem as we did them but also not fun to be cleaning while on vacation. For the most part, it’s basic things. They want you to strip beds, leave place tidy, etc. To carry the trash off on the morning of check out when you are already dealing with luggage is a bit much as it is 10 minutes walk from the apartment. There is no startler coffee so bring your own. There was 1 towel and 1 hand towel per person for the 4 nights we stayed. It worked but it would have been great to have an extra. The view is spectacular, but there may not be a bad view in Wengen. There probably are bad views but it really is a gorgeous area. The Beds were okay. Not super comfy but not horrible. All in all, it was an okay/average kind of stay, but all four of my family (2 adult couples) agreed that it was our least favorite of our 5 Switzerland stays. The rental company does offer a laundry service for an additional fee, also.

Fabulous family vacation

Could not fault this fantastic apartment, it had everything we needed and was welcoming and cosy. It was really clean and the beds were extra comfortable. The views were breathtaking and the location was stunning. We hope very much to stay there again in the future.

Silberhorn View!

The views from this apartment are incredible, with the Jungrau & Silberhorn the star of the show. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from the station, is clean and comfortably equipped. We will be renting it again.

Fantastic location. Amazing views. 5 mins walk to the station and there is a coop nearby. The apartment is very clean and it has most of the things that you will need. Excellent communications as well.

A well designed modern accommodation in traditionally styled block of five apartments, commanding outstanding balcony views over the Lauterbrunnen valley towards the Jungfrau in the south and the Leiterhorn in the south. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped.

Wonderful apartment with view

We loved everything about this apartment. The 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms were a great setting for our family of 4. The wrap-around balcony with a view of the Lauterbrunnen Valley was the highlight for us. Working with Interhome staff was a pleasure. They also helped us with laundry.

This .spacious and comfortable apartment is a short walk from the centre of Wengen so close to shops and the rail station. The views from the balcony are outstanding and I am reluctant to tell you how good in case it gets to popular for me to visit again. Because I surely will

Unbelievable view, incredibly lovely town!!

We spent 3 weeks traveling through Europe and this was our absolute favorite spot. The chalet is very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen, beds and 2 full bathrooms. Superb restaurants within a quick walk as well as a grocery store. I think we spent the first day in bed (we needed a rest day) & we just couldn't get over that VIEW.

Weekend break from our vacation and for our Swiss family

Great place for our long weekend for four adults. I was on my 4th trip to Switzerland and hadn't been to the OB yet. This was a great spot. The Swiss person in our group had never been to Wengen before (Swiss people don't go there) and he thought it was great. Very comfortable for two couples with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Lovely balconies, views are amazing. Well appointed kitchen. My husband was upset that there was no coffee supplied, and no indication of what coffee to buy for the machine in the unit. So if they could supply the first night's coffee, so we could know what to buy would be a very basic thing to do. So yeah, other than the coffee fail, it was very fine

Die Wohnung war Top. Kleinere erwähnenswerte negative Punkte: - Chalet liegt am Hang (Eis auf Weg kann sehr gefährlich sein, Vorsicht) - Fondue Caquelon nur elektronisch (unübliche Handhabung) - DVD war kaputt

Incredible Chalet

We absolutely loved this place. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Very clean and modern with everything we needed for our stay, and the balcony view was incredible.

Modern, Comfortable, Clean & Amazing Views

This was a great place to stay for our four night with my wife and 2 teenage daughters (17,19). The booking process before we arrived was excellent, the manager’s communication and follow-up on our questions was prompt, and check-in was a snap. The photos of the views were accurate, but seeing the views from the room in person was breathtaking. Hearing the cowbells ring in the background was special. The home was immaculately clean, very modern, and very comfortable. We would choose this home again in an instant.

Amazing views/best property in Wengen

Excellent location with great views! Great amenities and location close to train station and Coop store for groceries etc. Was ideal for our family of 4 with two teenagers who want their own bathroom. Manager is a very nice lady- very accessible. Will stay there again!
