Crooked lake Waterfront! A rare opportunity to rent approximately 900 feet of picturesque lakefront in upstate NY. This beautiful home has a retreat like private setting with grounds that include a bluestone patio, multiple firepits, walking trails, and amazing gardens. Walk in the front door and the home draws you toward the lake, enter the great room and you are impressed by the vaulted timber framed ceiling and floor to ceiling Anderson windows. This home has 1 canoe, 2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, swimming platform, lake chairs & float, lifejackets, etc. NOTE ELECTRIC MOTORS ONLY ON THIS LAKE. This upstate NY gem is in a private setting yet less than 5 minutes away from the interstate. Song Mountain Ski resort is 3 minutes away, Vesper Hills Golf Course is down the road (with a beautiful restaurant overlooking Otisco Lake), 1911 Cider House, Syracuse and Cortland are just 20 minutes away. Nature trails and parks surround the area, and the finger lakes are less than 30 minutes away. This lakefront home is truly one of a kind.

Everything was wonderful for our family getting away together (adult siblings). House is terrific with great view of the lake. All the games came in handy in the evenings.

Spectacular

We had such a relaxing stay. This house is set in a beautifully secluded location yet close enough to go and do everything that we needed. We were celebrating a graduation and there was room to entertain and for everyone to have their space. We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful home! Everything was perfect. Accessing the home was flawless. It was very clean and the hosts had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable from a fully stocked kitchen to the most comfortable bed we’ve slept in on vacation. And what an amazing view of the lake. There was lots of information available for places to see but it was hard to beat the view we already had from the living room couch on the day it rained and from the deck and patio when the weather cooperated. Kristin was immediately responsive when I had a question. I’d give it a lot more stars if I could.

Incredible stay at crooked Lake

We greatly enjoyed our stay, the house was perfect. Beautiful views, spacious home, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We love the location there’s so much to do outdoors. Tinker and Delphi Falls. We look forward to our next stay!

Double family getaway

My partner and my infant son, as well as another couple and their infant plus toddler, had a great time and fit comfortably in this lovely lakeside home. We enjoyed grilling, the fire pit, and hanging out lakeside with the kids.

Wonderful lake house

We stayed at this lake house while attending a music festival 15 min away in Lafeyette, NY. The house was really cozy and the area was very peaceful. We enjoyed the outside deck, overlooking the lake, listening to the frogs at night. The hosts are excellent : great communication, house was stocked , gave great recommendations in the area. Highly recommend!!

WONDERFUL WEEKEND!

Family from all parts of the US met at this beautiful lake setting for a reunion get-together. It was perfect. Plenty of room for sleeping, lots of water “toys”, a very well-equipped kitchen. Lots of firewood for s’mores. And more. We couldn’t have found a better place for the 10 of us. Many thanks to Kristen and all for making this a memorable time together!

Already looking forward to our next stay!

Wonderful weekend with kids and grandparents. Newly installed/bolted ladder at the end of the dock made all the difference for my aging parents to access the lake swimming and kayaks. Thank you! Fun swim platform. Warm water even in June. Very clean and clear around the swim platform. Good fishing! Had a wonderful stay and would come again for sure!

Great Family Getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay. Home was clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Property was well maintained. There were lifejackets available for use with the provided Kayaks and canoe. The lake was very peaceful and private. The home had everything we needed from firewood to coffee, toiletries, towels and more. Kristen, the host, was great to deal with. She went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. I give this property a 5 star rating except for the accuracy of the listing of Air Conditioning. The house is partially air conditioned. Overall, it managed to keep the main living area cool despite the very hot temps during our stay. We will definitely return to this property. Thank you Kristen for your hospitality.

Incredible home in Upstate NY!

Honestly can’t say enough great things about this house. It was beautiful, clean - like way above average type of clean, spacious, and well-stocked. We were a group of 8 and we had more than enough room. The location is serene. We were amazed at how quiet it was at night and how comfortable the beds were. We highly recommend this place for families or groups of friends. There was so much to do and see in the area. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Great spot for Cuzziepalooza 2024!

Each year, we meet with my cousins from Rochester (we live in the Albany area) and look for a spot between us. This spot worked out perfectly! The house is in a beautiful neighborhood, SO well kept, and probably the cleanest rental property we have ever visited. The lake views are beautiful, and we spent lots of time on the water, learning quickly how to navigate the dock and lily pads (which were a little annoying but really pretty at the same time!). Our host, Kristin, was super responsive, answered questions, got us in early on arrival day, and even made dinner suggestions. It was truly a 10 out of 10 experience!

Perfect place for family!

Perfect lake house for a family vacation! The host was very accommodating and consistent with quick communication, providing all details to check in well in advance and providing a lot of great information on the house and area (activities, restaurants, etc). The house was very clean and had plenty of games and toys for family/little ones. Our group included ages 1-60+ and we found that the house was great for all. Kitchen was stocked and even had plenty of spices, condiments, and coffee to enjoy. Overall the area was really quiet and peaceful. We especially loved the canoe and being able to fish throughout the week. We wanted a location convenient to both Ithaca and Syracuse, and it was exactly that. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful lakeside home by quiet lake. Everyone in our extended family had a great time kayaking, canoeing, and swimming at the lake. The home was well equipped for all our needs, spacious and comfortable. The hostess provided plenty of suggestions in advance. We had a delicious dinner at Sweet Basil and takeout from The View, both local restaurants she recommended. The nearby park had a sandy beach, 3 lifeguards, and a playground. Perfect for the small children in our party and just a 2 minute drive from the house. We ventured into Skaneatles, Cortland, and Syracuse, all just a short drive away. Great family retreat! The home, surrounding area, and hostess were all fantastic. Highly recommend!

Wonderful property!

We had an amazing time during our long weekend at this property! The home is perfect for entertaining and catching up with family! We were in town for a family wedding and we were able to host a small dinner with relatives. We also were excited to share the fire pit and beautiful lake views. The home is set up for enjoying time with family. The hosts had every detail covered. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe and they even had lifejackets for all. Firewood was provided and even beach towels when we braved the water in September. Walking trails were just down the street around a separate lake. I personally felt so at peace on this quiet and private lake. I loved the comfy master suite and the gorgeous view with my morning coffee. Thank you for a fun yet relaxing stay!

Peaceful and Private

Our family of seven never felt crowded in this roomy open-plan home on the lakeshore. We loved the firepit near the water, the deck and the bluestone patio, and the huge windows with an expansive view of the landscape. However, we had to improvise when it came to furniture (no dining table, too few chairs, etc.) and certain kitchen basics. Kristin was extremely responsive and went out of her way to fix the problems that were fixable. But for our summer stay, we were disappointed to find swimming in the lake to be so challenging, due to extensive vegetation and the lack of a ladder on the dock. As well, the house's cooling system was just not up to the week's 90-degree temps. Oscillating fans in the bedrooms would have been welcome.
