Newburyport River View Brick Two Story Apartment

Welcome to our classic Newburyport apartment. This is a two-Story townhouse located in a historic brick building next to Cashman Park. This location is ideal for exploring our coastal city. Downtown Newburyport with shopping, restaurants and nightlife is a quick eight minute walk away.

The space
Downstairs is an open concept living room and full kitchen (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig with coffee and tea). The space is 920 sq ft. The living room has a couch, coffee table and HD TV on the wall.

There's a table with four chairs in between the kitchen and living room to enjoy your morning breakfast.

Off of the downstairs living room is the full bath with tub/shower.

Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a queen size bed. There's a small desk with a chair for work/studying. This room has two end tables by the bed with lamps and a closet with hangers and a bureau.

There's a second smaller bedroom upstairs with a door with a twin bed. This room also has a closet with extra towels, sheets, blankets, iron and ironing board.

The upstairs bathroom has a stand up shower (no tub) and a hair dryer.

Outside the master bedroom there is a private second story deck that overlooks the park and the Merrimack River. This is in addition to the private deck downstairs.

WiFi and two parking spaces are included with your stay.

The basement has a clothes washer and dryer that are not shared with other units.

Very Enjoyable Stay

This apartment was perfect for us. The location is great--just a few minutes from town center and from our daughter's home. Being right across from Park Lunch (great fried seafood) is wonderful, and the playground at Cashman Park was a big attraction for our grandchildren. We were lucky to have warm weather for October and enjoyed sitting out on the balcony some days. The kitchen was adequately equipped and all the furniture was comfortable, especially the beds. All the appliances were fine. For us it was ideal to have bathrooms both upstairs and down. The property was very clean when we arrived and we appreciated the easy checkout. Jake was very responsive when we had some questions about the TV, and the way he set up the door lock code was especially appreciated. The only drawback for us was that the large TV was confusing to operate and didn't have some of the stations we are used to, and it was hard to find sports events. Jake did his best to help us from afar, but a manual to explain how to operate it would be helpful for future guests. All in all, we were delighted with our stay and hope to stay again when we come to visit family.

Great Location!

Loved being by the River and walking along the waterfront! Having 2 decks was great for just relaxing. The interior was laid out nice with bathroom downstairs and upstairs. I liked that the owner was a mother son family that cared about keeping everything really nice. I would definitely stay there again!

Great location

We stayed there for approximately six weeks and found it to be more than adequate for what we were looking for. I would definitely recommend it for anyone else.

Great for children

We found that the place had just about everything we needed. I always bring my own sheets and pillows . The sheets provided are polyester. Could use a few more comfortable chairs in TV area. The porch was nice but when it rained the roof leaked. We did not have the best weather. It rained just about every day, so being out on the porch between the rain drops was better than being inside. Also very noisy with traffic. The photo in the VRBO shows a rug in TV area. There was no rug. A great location for those that play tennis, basketball, and pickle ball. There is a play ground. This all adds to the noise. If you are looking for quiet and peaceful, this is not the place. If you are looking for a place close to the downtown, waterfront and trails it's a good fit.

this condo is in a great location- overlooking a playground with the waterfront just beyond. host was responsive when the tub wouldn't drain. bathrooms are very outdated, but functional.

Newburyport Madness

This property was awesome! Met our expectations! Very convenient to shopping, beach, restaurants. Loved having a washer and dryer! No major issuesā€¦ front screen door didnā€™t open. Would have been nice to use that porch area at night. Was happy there was a deck space off the master upstairs. Was nice sitting out at night with wine. The only other minor issue is the big hole in the driveway. I would stay here again and highly recommend this property.

Great stay!

Very conveniently located! Close to downtown, in walking distance to great restaurants! It was not a problem for us during May, but there was no cooling or air conditioners while we were there, so I should imagine the summers could get quite hot! No 4 was a great unit with stunning balconies to enjoy the water views!

Clean peaceful & beautiful

This condo is located in a charming building in downtown Newburyport, the pictures are accurate. The beds are comfortable, the showers were large too. Jacob was an excellent host and had no problems accommodating us when we had a late check in. The check in process was incredibly simple, we will be returning again.

Apartment close to downtown newburyport

Jacob's place is a nice two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with close proximity (half mile or so) to downtown newburyport, but still far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet in the evenings. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and bars within walking distance.
