Perfect for Long Stays. Recently remodeled 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom spacious townhome with 4 queen sized beds near the freeway (I-84) and the College of Idaho. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the College of Idaho in a well light neighborhood. The place is just a few minutes from the freeway as well. Has a walk-in closet and Master Bathroom, with 2 TVā€™s in the Unit. Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, all included.

Easy check-in and we had everything we needed, even stuff to do laundry! My only complaint was the rules but our kids read them right away and kept everyone accountable.

Great place to stay

This is our second time at this location, last time we stayed in The smaller house. But this one was super spacious and clean with comfy beds, 2 bathrooms. If you like to sleep in a cooler environment bring fans (we did, based on last time) and it was perfect. The location is great as it is right around the corner from our families house that we were visiting. We will definitely be using this house for all our visits to Caldwell šŸ˜Š

The house was amazing, only thing that was kinda a bummer for the kids is the internet kept dropping so it took a long time to watch their movies. Other than that, nothing negative to say about this place.

Very Spacious Indoors!

This home offered plenty of room for our family, was close to where we needed to be, as well as shopping very nearby. There appeared to be some maintenance necessary and not as ā€œhomeyā€ as some Vrbos we have stayed in. Would recommend hot pads and kitchen towels and dishcloths. Some art on the walls would help to reduce the echo effect and screens in the windows would be a huge plus. Overall it was a great stay! Thank you for hosting us!

The house is perfect. Has everything to pots and pans, to shampoo and conditioner! Very comfortable beds and very clean! Last year in brought my 94 year old grandma here so itā€™s perfect for all ages!

Home away from home

This home was absolutely perfect for my family and I. We were visiting my in-laws and I wanted a place to call ā€œhomeā€ at the end of the day. Very clean, organized, and relaxing. I loved how it was definitely kid friendly: (I didnā€™t have to worry about my son taking anything down or getting into anything) The owner was very nice and was easy to get ahold of. I will be staying here again next time we come visit my in-laws.

Not our usual VRBO experience

Within five minutes of us booking this unit for a 4-day weekend, we received a message from the owner apologizing that they double booked the unit for our first night. We decided to cancel and find an alternate home to rent. Unfortunately, we could not find anything and ended up re-booking for the three available days. After 36 days, five phone calls to vrbo totaling about 130 minutes of my time, an online chat with a vrbo agent and a LOT of stress, we finally received our full refund from the first booking. It was confirmed that the holdup on our refund was due to the owner not initiating it. Per the owner, we would be able to check-in at 3pm. At 3:05 I messaged the owner asking for our check-in information. At 3:16 I received a reply with the code for the door. I then received a separate message from the owner telling me that as soon as we arrive, we must go to the refrigerator to read their list of rules and that their review of us would depend on how well we followed those rules. We have been renting through vrbo for over 12 years, multiple rentals per year and Iā€™m being threatened with a bad review? The rules. Some of the other reviews have already talked about them. To repeat, $25 to use their BBQ is absolutely ridiculous. Thermostat must stay at 72 degrees so if you have hot flashes, maybe donā€™t book here. The home is practically located in a desert and 72 degrees inside can be quite stuffy and warm when itā€™s in the 90ā€™s outside especially when there are no fans or ceiling fans. We went and bought a couple fans to help circulate the air. Accommodations. Very nice house, very clean, very well taken care of. Dishes and linens are all new and of good quality. No decorations, or games or anything to make it feel like a welcoming place for a family to take a vacation. No coasters or end tables or anywhere to set your drinks in the living room. Only one chair on the back patio. No potholders or can opener in the kitchen. On our drive home, I sent a message to the owner to thank them for sharing their home with us. Their reply? They wanted to know how many people we had stay there and why all four of the beds were used and stripped. I wish I would have thought fast enough with a more clever response but it simply boils down to being none of their damn business why all of the beds were used! With the ring on the doorbell and cameras everywhere, itā€™s not like they didnā€™t already know how many people were there the entire time!

Caldwell Idaho vacation rental

We utilized the VRBO app, there was no information for check in or check out available. We waited twenty minutes for a message through the app with door code. The rules posted on the refrigerator are not conducive to welcoming people to have a good time. Threatening tone. $25 to use the BBQ. No thank you. Didn't know this when I rented. The rules indicated you can't access the garage then said " there are camera's there anyway." I had no reason to go into the garage. Whatcha hiding in there? There is only one chair to sit on in the backyard. There were no instructions for checking out, again nothing on the app, so I sent a message that we had left and had a great time. Three hours after we left he messaged me and asked why all of the beds and been slept in and 8 towels had been used. What nerve! We used towels and washed towels. 3 adults and a teen age boy. We all slept in a bed. Well stocked and linens and beds were nice. No decor whatsoever but that's no big deal. No tables to put drinks on in the living room. Just kind of odd. Good luck dealing with the host.
