End of Summer Family Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was perfect for our end of summer trip. We had 22 people in our group and there was plenty of room to relax. Being right on the beach made it easy for everyone to come and go, prepared meals, and hit the beach early or late. We’ll add this one to our favorite stays and look forward to renting again next year.

You can literally watch your kids play at the beach from the front deck. Houses are really worn and could use some repairs. Dishwasher was broken in one house. PERFECT PLACE

This was the perfect spot for our family of 27! We ranged from 8 months to 55 and every single person had the best trip. Literally steps to the beach. Perfect outdoor shower, cooking supplies, patio for ocean views with coffee and so much more! This will be our new family spot every summer!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our family vacation with all 30 of us under one roof. The beachfront location was perfect - right on the beach! The underneath sitting area was perfect for outside cooking and chats. The upstairs kitchen and living room combo was great for us to eat breakfast together. Overall it was a great experience. A few things I’d like to bring to your attention, the upstairs couch (far right) was broken, so we couldn’t use that as a bed. We couldn’t find the hammocks that hung in the “upper deck” down stairs. I would recommend (and maybe I just over looked it) putting in the description the house has a connecting porch and walk way to the beach with the house next door. One of the bar stools in the kitchen had a broken piece and the screw was out in the open. The back left burner on the stove didn’t work. One of the swings downstairs broke with someone on it (they are fine, but it could’ve been worse), it was very rusted. The people at the office were very nice and welcoming when I went to check in and through the whole process helped and answered any questions I had!

Celebration of life

The house needs a lot of attention. The couch bed upstairs is broken so you only have enough beds for 28 unless you count sleeping on a couch.The microwave door above the stove Won’t stay shut. The hammock’s swings don’t exist one is missing and the other is ripped into two pieces.The two person swing had to be taken down by maintenance due to the board that was holding it up was split into two pieces. One of the upstairs shower had no water pressure. The window was cracked pretty bad and another one was cracked as well. The only thing this house had going for it was the location. The parking for a house that sleeps 30 is horrible so if you have a medium to large size vehicles you can fit 5 to 6 only.You might need to carpool and For the amount of money we are spending on these houses you would assume more attention to details would be in order

Family Unplugged Getaway

This was a great property to stay at with 25 of us. There was plenty of space to move around. The children loved the beach and was able to get some fishing in as well. The house was great could use some touch up painting here and there but it was good. Some of the pillows could use some washing it wasn’t terribly bad but could use some attention. The decor was nice. Each bunk bed had its own light and outlet. It only had one hammock not 2 like the post showed. All in all a great time was had by all. Great house for a big family.

Reviewer Comments: Very close to the beach which is great..but the place wasn’t too clean.Mold showing thru paint & along shower..vents with thick dust & nobody is cleaning under sofa cushions.Small stools in kitchen are very uncomfortable and a handful were unstable ... Not all burners on the stove were working. Oven needs cleaning tooIt would be nice if some essentials were included with the price! Not even toilet paper do they give you.. Be prepared to make your own bed because no sheets are on the beds when you arrive ..they may say for ease of mind to show they’re clean but it just looks lazy to me. Comforter sets on beds didn’t all look too clean either & your towels will only be dumped off to your place in big bags instead of being placed nicely in the restrooms for you ready to use..

We've been coming to Crystal Beach for the last 15yrs and this is the one of the top 5 places we've stayed in terms of location. Like every rental there were items that needed repair, but we stayed at the end of the summer season so I'm gonna chalk the majority of issues up to the end of a busy season. Again, perfect location & lots of room. Just needs some TLC from the owner.

Great beach house!

The house was very accommodating for our large family reunion. It does need a few repairs and could have been cleaner, but otherwise had everything we needed. We celebrated 2 Birthdays and had a beautiful sunset wedding. Before we arrived I had read lots of reviews complaining about how trashy Crystal Beach is. We found it to be just the opposite. Very clean and we saw crews of clean up people almost every day. You are allowed to drive on the Beach so it’s easy to take your cooler, canopy, chairs etc to get set it for your beach time. Overall we had a great time and loved the house!

Perfect Location

The house was in a perfect location, just steps away from the beach. The house, however was not clean - there was food in the sink when we got there, counter tops were sticky - there were ants in every room of the house and we were told the kitchen was fully stocked and it wasn’t. We had a wok and one pot with no utensils. We were not told this ahead of time, but there is an overflow parking spot, which helped considering the amount of trucks we had. We had a wonderful time & would most definitely stay there again.

Love the place big enough for the whole family. Beach steps away. Now traffic on the weekend is crazy cars , 4 wheelers, side by sides constantly driving by so a little difficult with kids wanting to run back and forth from the beach to the sand .. over all the place was great
