We enjoyed our stay and the kids are wanting to rent the same beach house for a summer weekend before they all go off to different colleges! AMAZING!!

This property has a lot to offer for a big group. The bedrooms are spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. It is loaded with appliances—two refrigerators , two dishwashers, two laundry facilities. The pool and hot tub were great. Very close to beach, just a hop skip and a jump. It was still warm and humid when we were there, so it was hard to take advantage of the decks. Thus we were a bit short forspace in the common area. Ideally one more are with a table for games indoors would be ideal. We will not come back on labor day weekend. The endless stream of pickup trucks, golf carts, and dune buggies plus wall to wall people, noise, and music on the beach was not our vibe.

Great Family Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was exactly what we were looking for and was as described. Plenty of room for all 19 of our family members with very generous kitchen with things needed for our daily cooking of large meals. The pool was perfect and we were so close to the beach with no obstructed views. Everything you need close by. Love that there are washer & dryers on each floor! Highly recommend for large gatherings.

We stayed in this home 2 years ago. We love it location quality and capabilty to hold crawded groups.. only thing is home needs maintenence as expected.. just need more attention and keep the stuff working around when the time passes..

Overall great stay and was a good fit for our friends and family. My only “negative” feedback is checking in/out could be done remotely vs driving to an office. With today’s technology that’s just absurd. Wonderful house and would definitely stay again!

Great location and plenty of room

Plenty of room to spread out and enough room for everyone. Close to beach and activities in the area. Bedspreads and mattress pads need to be washed. Under furniture and cushions need to be vacuumed.

Beautiful home. Well stocked kitchen. Electricity went out and I texted them to check on it. They texted back immediately.

Great house for a lot of people

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 26 family members staying in the house. It easily accommodated all of us giving us room for our stuff and privacy. The kitchen was well equipped and the lift was very helpful. The pool was clean . One downside is the stairs are steep.

A Great Second Stay at Saltwater Gospel

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying at this rental and it has worked out great due to it's size and location. Overall it is a great house, although it could use some maintenance which it seems they may be in the process of doing. Many of the door handles were loose and one handle was completely off (my husband is handy and brought his multi-tool and managed to fix them). The layout, number of rooms and bathrooms work great for us but I do wish there was a way to go from the downstairs directly to the upstairs deck, instead of entering through the house. The house could also benefit from an outdoor shower. The hot tub on the second level deck was a surprise and a nice addition. The patio looked to also be in the process of getting painted, as there was tape and paper left around much of the railing upstairs and down. Overall it is a great house, missing a few things we would like but perfect for a large group with multiple couples.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a very nice , new rental that accommodates a crowd.There were 20 in our group, 7 of them children. Although it says it sleeps 33, that could be crowded. It could have used a half bath on the first floor, as guests have to use a bathroom that belongs to one of the bedrooms.The only negative was that the linens are bagged ( they said due to Covid in Oct 2023) and you have to make all your own beds. For the rental fee, I would have expected my beds to be made. However, I would rent this house again.

This property was great! The management company that runs it is local and very easy to reach and talk to. The home was beautiful and functional and served our large family gathering well. You will need some basics when you come and stay, (Dish soap, hand soap, garbage bags, paper good (if desired)). I like the required linen fee which provided the linens for the beds while we were there; I wish there was a similar "disposables" fee for them to just stock those basics I mentioned previously for each stay. Also, they said they are looking to upgrade the internet service to starlink, but until they do, it isn't currently capable of handling streaming on a few tv's and trying to work from home for those that require a good amount of bandwidth.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect for Large families! Celebrated daughter’s UTMB graduation with all her siblings and their families! Our group of 14 adults and 12 children (16-3yrs) had more than enough room even with entire bunch in the kitchen/living area! Lift was a lifesaver for huge ice chest full of food, cases of drinks/water and multiple suitcases! Pool was amazing for the kids and beach front location was amazing! Everything was clean and fresh! Well worth the cost! Our stay was short but everyone was super happy!

Great house, needs deep cleaning

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and location are great! Unfortunately, upon our arrival it appeared it was not cleaned. 2 bathrooms had sand and hair in tubs, toothpaste in sink in one. Microwave not cleaned. Floors dirty. Food, toys, trash found in between cushions and under media room sofa. We called and reported these things after check in. We cleaned a lot on our own. They sent a cleaner to clean bathrooms the next morning. She was very apologetic but not ideal to have someone cleaning early the first morning of our vacation. Swedes office did nothing more even after we mentioned considering refunding part of cleaning fee at checkout. Several door handles broken and they sent a maintenance guy same day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented the house for a gathering for our 10 kids, 5 spouses & 10 grandkids & we had a great time! Kids enjoyed the pool & the huge deck. Everybody took strolls on the beach which is right n front of house. Everything you may need was in the kitchen. The lift was great to load & unload & for my 84 yr old mom. House was very clean but microwave was filthy. I hope to rent this same house next year. I’m sure everyone will love this house!!!
