Animal friendly 1900's remodel farm house. Great for 2 couples! 1 mile from Berlin,10 minutes from Ocean City and Assateague. Berlin and Assateague are both dog friendly. The Ocean room is the master with a kind bed on the second floor with bathroom. The Bay Room is on the second floor, double bed. Bathroom on first floor. Has a kitchen, living room, sun room, outdoor bar and kitchen and patio. My boyfriend, Lee and I live on the back of the property in a camper. So we are right here if you need anything or have any questions.

Laurie is a great host. She showed us how things worked in the house, was available when we had a question, abd was kind when our pup found her way to Laurie's front door. The house was comfortable, including the beds!, and the kitchen and grills were perfect for cooking. We loved Berlin's Main Street, only aile away, and loved that the drive to Assateague was just 10 minutes.

Lovely home with a beautiful back yard space. The covered fire pit in back was a perfect place to spend the rainy evening when we first arrived. Kind host and enjoyable stay all around.

We really enjoyed our stay at Laurie‘s house. The property is exactly as pictured and is extremely dog friendly. Laurie even had a fresh bowl of water waiting for our pup. Location is very convenient to everything that Berlin and Assateague have to offer! The home was very well equipped, we would definitely return.

Excellent place to stay with your dogs. Our dogs just loved it there and settled in just like home.

My birthday weekend

Laurie was right there with us on Friday as we arrived. We talked with her for a little bit and immediately felt very comfortable. The house is plesantly old, decorated with a lived in feel, plants all over, neat and clean. And, located close to Assateaque, Ocean City and of couse the outer skirts of Berlin.

Fun time!

Such a great place, close to everything yet far enough away so you can truly enjoy the area without all the crazy traffic of OC. The outdoor space is amazing! You can just sit and chill for hours at the bar with sectional seating and a TV, along with lots of cozy spots. There was darts, horseshoes and an outside shower to wash off the sand from the beach. Laurie clearly takes pride in her pet friendly home, each room is filled with treasures she’s found or created. At the end of the day, we enjoyed a great nights rest in the super comfy king bed. Laurie was available to answer any questions we had and gave us pointers where the locals go for a great meal. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Great dog friendly house

What a whimsical, charming, dog-friendly house. We had a great stay and will definitely be back The host, Laurie, was great. She was great with communication and gave great recommendations for restaurants and local activities.The property is perfect for dogs with a fenced in exercise and potty area. Close to Assateague beaches and downtown Berlin. Don't miss the farmers market in downtown Berlin on Sundays. It's one of the best I've been to.

I stayed at this property on the night of my wedding. We could not shower because there was mold on the shower head, we returned from our wedding to thousands of ants crawling on the kitchen counter, the unit possessed a foul odor, and the host was heavily drunk and incredibly inappropriate. Before the wedding my husband met the host. She arrived late and smelled of alcohol. She told my husband that she “just woke up and forgot a guest was coming” (it was 3 pm). My husband told her he was staying for his wedding night. The drunken host then told my husband “I was married for 17 years and it was horrible. Marriage is the worst idea, I tell people to never get married”. (He was getting married in 3 hours from that moment) After the wedding, we returned to the property. The first thing we noticed was a foul odor, as if the home had not been cleaned. We entered the kitchen to notice thousands of ants crawling upon the countertop. We immediately eliminated the ants. After for 30 minutes of eliminating pests, we attempted to take a shower. I was appalled to find there was mold on the shower head and the water smelled terrible. I ended up not taking a shower on my own wedding night. I expressed my concerns to the host and requested a refund as $500 is an enormous price to pay for the incredibly poor experience provided. The host replied by stating that we “should have booked a cheaper property”. This host has been reported. Do not waste your money, look elsewhere.

Perfect for Dogs

This place is located right in between the board walk and assateague island so you get the best of both with only a 10 minute drive. So much better than staying at a dog friendly hotel, I'd recommend this place a thousand times over. Really good communication with the owner as well, if you need anything at all, she's there to help. I'll be staying here again for sure.

AWESOME home/GREAT PRIVATE BACKYARD

We had such an amazing stay. The private backyard is where we spent ALL of our time. If you love the outdoors you’ll love this home. Great outdoor ambiance. 20min drive to OC. The owners are AMAZING!

Lovely and dog friendly!

Laurie was an attentive host checking regularly to make sure we were set. We loved the boho-beachy back yard for relaxing with our 3 dogs. Lots of other outdoor space for them too. Very close to Berlin with quaint shops and good restaurants that were not overpriced. Easy 10-15 minute drive to the Assateague beaches which we fell in love with!

Amazing house in a great location

We were on a girls weekend and wanted to go to Assateague National Lakeshore to see the wild horses. We found this house and it was the perfect location! Only minutes from Assateague as well as grocery stores and the town of Berlin, Md, which had many restaurants and stores. Laurie was a great host and even made a point of coming to visit us to meet us, which was a bonus! We spent 2 nights here and had a great time! Thank you, Laurie!

Last minute getaway

The place was perfect for our weekend fun. Definitely has the beach vibe. Check in was a breeze and Laurie was very helpful and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again.

Great for 2 couples! Beach Haven is animal friendly farmett. We want you to enjoy your vacation with your dogs or animals. We have had all sorts of animals come to visit chickens ducks and goats. The town of Berlin and Assateague Island are dog friendly.
