These bunkhouses provide a great lodging choice for people wanting the basics, while enjoying a comfortable mattress, fridge, microwave and just a cool environment. Look for Zion's Camp and Cottages to see all of our properties!

Looking for a serene, peaceful place to stay while visiting the National Parks? Look no further. Campsites full and want a place to shower and get out of the elements? We have you covered. Our bunkhouse units are set up with two per building and a connecting door to accommodate larger groups. Each private bunkhouse has a king sized bed and a set of bunk beds as well as a private full bathroom. The units are accessible using a keyless entry system. Details are sent electronically two weeks before your arrival date. Each unit has a high efficiency A/C and Heater, Wi-Fi and a Roku TV- so be sure to bring your logins with you! The kitchenette is equipped with a full size fridge and microwave. For your convenience there is also a blender, crockpot, toaster, rice cooker, coffee maker, electric water kettle and dishes/utensils for four guests. There is no oven or stove, however, we do have an outdoor communal food prep area where you can set up your own camp stove or use one of the several charcoal or propane barbecues onsite, on a first come, first serve basis(propane is provided, charcoal is not). Outside you will also find a fire pit (available seasonally), hammock posts, and picnic tables under our large cottonwood trees.

Guests have access to all of the grounds, barbecues, large parking area, bird feeders and hammock posts.

Your host is available by Airbnb chat, live chat text, phone and the caretaker is always close by.

La Verkin is a small town located about 20 minutes from the entrance to Zion National Park. We have a grocery store, a couple of gas stations and an excellent coffee shop. We are located next to Hurricane, which has a Walmart, movie theater, restaurants and more. If you need more than that, St. George is about 25 minutes away.

You will need a car to get around. We have plenty of parking.

Zion vacation

This was a great place to stay while visiting Zion for a week. It is also near Kolob Canyon for more hiking and Sand Hollow Reservoir with cliff diving.

One night stay

Iā€™d choose this spot for a longer stay as it was a perfect fit for a trip to Zion and Kolab Canyon areas. Sadly we only had one night but in the short time at the property we enjoyed the outdoor areas and slept comfortably.

We wanted to visit Zion and Bryce Canyon without breaking the bank, and staying here made that possible. Loved that they had a full sized fridge and freezer, a cooler we could take out with us, a rice cooker, a slow cooker, etc. We used the grill everyday so we could save a bit and not have to eat out. They donate extra food to a local food bank if possible or feed it to their chickens (not on site sadly, but the neighbors have sheep!). Some things you may want to pack or buy- foil for veggie pouches etc on the grill, Tupperware containers for leftovers, preferred seasoning (they have salt and pepper), preferred coffee (they supply some but we didnā€™t like it). They have a shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser in the bath. I have a bad back and the king bed was fine for me. Mother in law slept on the bunk and she didnā€™t have any complaints- bunk mattress is thin but seems to be memory foam, so a bit firmer than the king bed. Plenty of blankets for us. Loved having a ceiling fan, a/c was cold and easy to change settings when too cold. Itā€™s just under a 30 minute drive to the Zion south entrance, and about 10 minutes off I-15 to get to Bryce Canyon or Vegas in 2 hours. Really cool place overall and we will definitely be back.

The whole experience was great, room was clean and organized, kitchen really equipped and grill ready to use, check in really easy. Really peaceful community. 100% recommend

Overall.

Overall. A great experience! I would like to see dog allowance. Even for a deposit that could be refunded afterward. There was a dog there, not sure it was known, but well behaved as ours is, I get not wanting yappy dogs and untrained, but a deposit would help curb those; However We had a great stay, even without Lakota! I don't know names, I believe it was the couple running it and both were very kind, accommodating and pleasant to work with.

I would love to send my kids to enjoy the bunkhouse. We enjoyed the Kolob Canyons. Very few people, unbelievable views. We went all the way to the top, we made it a whole day affair. Many trail heads and views up close. Great, had trouble getting on internet with laptops.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to stay again. Just a few comments: It would be nice if there were laundry facilities No screen means we couldn't open the window for fresh air - the AC was great, but sometimes you want to air out the place We're 5'3" and 5'5" and the toilet paper holder was far to reach I understand there will always be bugs, but there were quite a few pincher bugs (I think that's what they were?) I didn't interact with anyone.
