Glad you could make use of the poolside TV and were comfortable sleeping on the new mattress in the main bedroom. Our guests find the new granite countertops and stainless appliances along with the recently installed tile flooring throughout the villa, give it an executive feel. We hope to be able to host you again for a future stay.

We appreciate our guests providing a review following a stay at our villa. However, we prefer to hear about concerns during a stay so that they can be rectified and our guests’ stay is stress free and enjoyable. We have found our quick response and the exceptional service from our property manager results in a five star review from guests even in the unusual circumstance when something falls below expectations. We would like to provide some context for our future guests so they are not unduly influenced by this one review, that is clearly an outlier, when considering our ten years of reviews on various vacation rental sites. Our top priority is to communicate and respond quickly to guest inquiries. We have a local professional property manager on call 24 hours a day to resolve any issues that may arise during a stay. We also encourage guests to contact us directly to ensure prompt action is taken. Unfortunately, this guest only made one of the concerns expressed in the review known during their stay. Below is our response to that issue: Guest sent an email late on the first night of their stay indicating she saw some ants in the pantry area. An email reply was sent to the guest, within an hour, clarifying that the villa is regularly sprayed and that the company would stop by the next day to check on their concern. Before 9 AM the next day the villa was resprayed and ant traps were provided. We offered to reimburse the guest for some grocery items and also offered to purchase a pizza dinner for their family for the inconvenience. No further communication was received from the guest. Future guests can be assured that the villa is professionally sprayed inside and out regularly to ensure the villa is as bug free as possible in Florida. No mention was made by the guest at any time to anyone that they felt the pool was not heating as it should. As a result of this review - we have followed up with the guests immediately before and after this family and both have confirmed that the spa and pool heated as expected during their stay. The filtration system is set to run during the entire day and our property manager has confirmed that it is running properly. Our gas BBQ was purchased in February 2020. Again, the guest never mentioned any issue with it to anyone. As a result of this review - we have asked our property manager to check on the electronic igniter and will have it replaced if defective. Note that BBQ tools are located in the Kitchen pantry. Clarification for our future guests: The Master suite layout is as it was designed (Executive Gulf Breeze model) with a walk-in closet, his and her sinks with upgraded granite countertops, a separate large shower with both handheld and upper full body spray heads, an oversized soaker tub, a separate enclosed toilet room and a walkout directly to the pool area. The upgraded tile flooring continues throughout the entire 2000 square foot villa. Included is a wall mounted 55 inch flatscreen TV with DVR! Self catering Villa: Guests are made aware, prior to arrival, that the villa is self catering and 2 garbage bags, a roll toilet paper in each bathroom, 2 laundry pods, and 2 dishwasher tablets are provided. The cleaners have confirmed that this is standard in vacation rentals in our area - but we are reviewing with our property management company to determine if a change is needed. Final note: We are proud of our energy conservation efforts at our villa. Since 2019, have upgraded our AC unit, gas pool heater, gas water heater and appliances with high efficiency models. We added a programable thermostat with the new HVAC system and for efficiency and comfort, it is preset to 75 degrees during the day, 72 degrees from 5:30 - 9:30 PM and 69 degrees overnight. Guests have the ability to increase or decrease this by up to 3 degrees for their individual comfort.
