Thank you so much for your review! We are very pleased that you enjoyed the Garden House and its location in the charming Duques neighborhood (Bonfim). Indeed, very close to the house, in addition to galleries and interesting shops, you will find several very special and unique bars, and also some of the best restaurants in the city! We are also close to several points of interest, such as the city's three main theaters, Rua Santa Catarina (one of the main streets in the city center and where the iconic Café Majestic is located), but a 15-20 minute walk from the Cathedral area, although it is an easy walk. That is, close enough to some tourist attractions, but far enough away to avoid the restrictions characteristic of a slightly rougher and more aggressive part of the city, especially at night. It was a great pleasure to host you and we hope to welcome you again!

Yes, the bathroom is small but very functional. We have hosted over 700 guests at Garden House through the 5 platforms we work with, some over 1.85 meters tall, and it wasn't a problem, but yes, once again, the bathroom is small. Our Garden House guests are always delighted with the architecture of the space, from the entrance, and some even with the classic cars we have there, the lush garden, and the koi ponds. In your case, I confess and share here that, having hosted over 4000 guests over the last 14 years in the various houses we have, I was not prepared for your lack of kindness, your lack of friendliness, from the moment you entered through the gate, and without any enthusiasm for the characteristics that define this place.

We were very happy that you enjoyed your stay at our Garden House. However very surprised by your comment that the furniture, chairs and sofa need to be replaced: This house was created and decorated recently to receive guests and all the equipment is in perfect condition as attested by over 100 guest reviews. The furniture consists of a combination of contemporary pieces, such as the chairs and the dinning table designed in the 60s by Daciano Costa, with classic furniture / antiques in impeccable condition, such as the china cabinet from the late 19th century in cherry wood, or the 19th century bedroom dresser in rosewood with black marble, etc. we think it is a matter of personal taste, and the immense quite demanding gests comments we receive from so many different countries, attest to the quality of our accommodation.
