This was our fifth year of staying a week at Belle of the Beach. We hope to make it six. The cottage suits our needs and we love being able to see the ocean from the porch.We were there July 20-27 2025.

A wonderful Vacation

This is our fifth stay at Belle of the Beach and each year it has been wonderful, house, weather and ocean. We hope to come back next year.

Family Vacation

We loved our stay at Belle of the Beach! The location is great for the beach, places to eat, and grocery shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed the 3rd floor kitchen/balcony area. It was a great place to entertain and spend quality time with family!

Love this location

This was our second time staying here…it’s a perfect spot for our family! Beach is just across the street and can see the ocean from the balcony. House is roomy and open, plenty of parking, and even a little grassy area for outside games. Host is quick to respond.

Family Vacation

Belle of the Beach was a wonderful property for our family vacation. Plenty of space for our group of 11--comfortable beds, nice linens, and excellent location. The kitchen is well appointed and it is a short walk to the beach. Communication from the property manager was also excellent. We enjoyed our stay so much!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the property. It was perfect for our family, including toddlers, with the large open living/kitchen space. The beach views from the third floor were stunning each morning and we appreciated the convenient access to the public beach and restaurants. Fred was very kind, had wonderful communication and was very easy to work with. We will absolutely be back!

Beautiful home and location!

We all loved this property! Checking in was super easy and the home is very beautiful and tastefully decorated. I didn’t expect it to be so nice after staying other places that portray one thing and you get something else. Plenty of parking and easy beach access. So many areas to just hang out with family. Kitchen is well stocked to cook meals. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome location

My family enjoyed the stay at Belle of the Beach. Awesome location just a few steps from the beach access. The owner is responsive and even rode by the property to check in on things during our stay. A few bugs here or there but overall a great property that is well stocked and updated. Lots of room for a large family. If you plan to have the maximum number of guests (15) then you may want to bring extra towels as there were only 8-10 towels total in all of the bathrooms. Awesome views from the balcony and close to many local restaurants and shopping.

Great vacation spot!

What a wonderful home to stay in! Our family (10 adults, 5 young children) loved both the house and the location. Plenty of seating both inside and out, a huge kitchen, spacious living areas, and large bedrooms. The deck was comfortable with nice seating plus a new table with 6 chairs. Having a second deck was a bonus to just have some quiet time as well. The location was ideal! Can see the ocean from the balcony since there is no house directly in front, and beach access is just across the seat. The beach area also is not crowded as there are no hotels close by. Owner was quick to respond to questions and clearly communicated with me. The general area was also nice as it’s a quiet spot and can walk to a little slushie/ice cream store, donuts, great little take out place, and a few shops. Would highly recommend this home!!

Vacation fun

We love location property management is always good and responses quickly.Has added table and chairs to upper deck which was used everyday.Lower deck needs suitable chairs so it could be enjoyed. I did miss cable tv don’t like using the streaming sorry I’m old we did buy but I still didn’t like it. The walk way to beach was great! I did rent wheel chair for mother and left at end of walk way .We rented golf cart for husband he loved it and the neighbor hood is great .over all a great relaxing vacation Thank you!!

nice beach house

Location was very good for the beach. House was very nice and clean. the house was well stocked with most everything you would need for your stay. we brought our own chairs and buggie boards. love that the city fireworks was set off just yards from the house. made for a great view. Had a couple of minor problems . The AC stopped working one day and Fred called to have it fixed very quickly. Just one very warm night with out AC on the third floor. I mentioned that maybe he should have the house sprayed for bugs before the next renters came. We had a few that we killed. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Great location

Overall this was a great vacation home to stay in with family. Positives: The view of the ocean is comparable to being on the beach. The third floor deck was where would always gather day and night. The winds were constantly blowing keeping the temperatures tolerable despite it being extremely hot at the street level. The lot across the house is vacant which allows for an unobstructed view of the ocean. Inside, the house is welcoming with plenty of room to spread out. There were 3 bedrooms with their own private bath. Four if you count the jack and Jill. The owners were very attentive when we had a small issue and it was resolved quickly. Negatives: The biggest issue we had were the beds. The beds on the second floor need replacing. If they are not as hard as a rock, either the bed frame squeaks, or the mattress is two valleys with a mountain in the middle. We would consider staying here again if the owners invested in quality mattresses. Other minor improvements would be to get new outdoor cushions for the second floor deck and to replace the pots and pans with new ones.

Family Reunion

Overall this is a 5-star beach house property. There are a few things that are suggested from our stay that would help but nothing that would keep us from returning and/or recommending this solid property. The Pros: Excellent location. Loved being able to walk back/forth to beach at leisure. Excellent 3rd floor view. This was where we spent most of our evenings. Excellent communication. The host was available and accommodating. Excellent accommodations. All rooms were as advertised with the exception of the first floor room. Not a detriment but perfect for teenagers. The suggestions: Propane Grill needed. We knew going in that it didn’t work but would have loved to grilled out. Shrimp Boiler needed. Every beach house should have one (personal preference). We ordered a pre-made shrimp boil from a local company. Fantastic! But would have also wanted to do it ourselves. Outdoor seating. We had 13 in our party. Would have wanted everyone to be comfortable on the 3rd floor balcony. But outdoor seating was limited. Again, nothing mentioned detracted from our stay. Should this large of a group return to Atlantic Beach, this property is our 1st choice. 5-stars.

Beautiful Comfortable Home

The pictures do not do this home justice. It is beautiful, comfortable, CLEAN, and has every tool in the kitchen that you could ever want or need! The view from the balconey is breathtaking. This house is technically 2nd row, but the lot across the street is empty, so you get a beautiful unobstructed view. And the beds!!!! It is rare to find a vacation home where every bed is comfortable, but this home has ALL comfortable beds. We are looking forward to coming back soon.

Great House, Great view!

Everything was great. very nice to have dish soaps and pantry with a few necessities. Three recommendations.. 1 the grill was non functional need a new grill. 2. Need a large steamer pot. 3. Need a pak n play folding crib. Otherwise great house! It worked great for us. Would rent again.
