Thanks for the review! We appreciate the feedback. Our location can be prone to higher humidity levels, which can sometimes lead to musty smells, especially if the property remains unoccupied for extended periods. We've taken steps to address the issue, including professional air duct cleaning and a dehumidifier to improve the air circulation. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the future!

We appreciate you highlighting that this property is best suited for guests who prioritize comfort, a dog-friendly atmosphere, and location over luxury finishes. We aim for full transparency regarding the age and style of the home and ensure this is reflected accurately in our property listing photos. We believe this is a great, relaxing choice for families and pet owners, and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay! We hope to welcome you and your furry friend back again soon.

Thank you for the feedback Louis! We're glad you had a nice time on Folly Beach. This house has been tested for mold and the results came back negative. However, a residual musty smell can occasionally occur in areas prone to moisture. Our team will inspect the bathrooms again. Guest safety is our top priority and we appreciate you pointing that out. Thanks again for staying with us. We hope to see you again!

Thanks for the feedback! We want to address the concerns you raised. The home was inspected by a licensed pest control technician following your report, and no signs of bugs or pest infestation were found. If you noticed any insects, they were likely typical for a coastal environment. The exterior windows were recently cleaned. However, during the week of your stay, the area experienced significant rainfall, which unfortunately caused residue to quickly accumulate on the exterior glass. The painter's tape you observed around the window-mounted AC unit was placed there temporarily by our maintenance team to create an even tighter, more efficient seal. This is a standard measure to improve cooling performance and energy efficiency. We apologize if the unit's noise level bothered you. One chair cushion has some visible discoloration, but that cushion has been professionally treated and is thoroughly clean. We understand you were disappointed that your request for a full refund was denied, as the circumstances surrounding your cancellation did not qualify under our established policy. We strive to ensure all our guests have a comfortable and high-quality stay. We ask guests with concerns during their visit to contact us immediately so we can address and rectify the concern while they are on site.

Thank you for your feedback! We are thrilled to hear that you found the location to be perfect and that you enjoyed the beach. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you experienced due to the maintenance issues. We want to confirm that as soon as the washing machine and hot water issues were reported to us, we immediately dispatched a technician to the property for repairs. We also offered a professional laundry service, which was respectfully declined. Regarding pests, the house is routinely treated as part of our scheduled pest prevention program, and we apologize that you still encountered ants during your visit. We appreciate your comments on the house's upkeep. We confirm that the current listing photos are accurate, reflecting the property's style. Our deck has been certified as structurally secure, but we will schedule an additional inspection immediately to ensure continued safety and address any visual concerns. We are committed to providing a five-star experience and will use your feedback to ensure these items are fully resolved for future guests. We hope to host you again!

Thank you for sharing your experience! This home isn't for everyone. We're glad you enjoyed your vacation. It was a pleasure hosting you!
