Welcome to Kauhale Makai 433 with stunning ocean views! This spacious 2bd/2bath offers the perfect paradise getaway! Enjoy a gorgeous Maui sunset or a peaceful morning on your private lanai. Watch whales breaching, during season, or dine alfresco with seating for four.

The charming kitchen is fully equipped with all any home chef would need to whip up a quick bite or a full meal. The quaint dining area offers seating for four.

Kick up your feet and relax after a fun filled day on Maui in this cozy living area. Complete with flat screen TV, ceiling fan and convertible sofa for additional sleeping.

The Master suite closes off perfectly from the living area. Boasting floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that provide access to private lanai. Drift off to sleep in the cozy King bed. Master suite also has flat screen TV, ceiling fan and ensuite bath.

The guest suite encompasses the Hawaiian feel with its décor. Complete with king bed, ceiling fan, flat screen TV and full ensuite bath.

This beautiful condo offers central AC to keep cool year round. Coin operated laundry room located on each floor allow for lighter packing.

Kauhale Makai is a sprawling ocean front resort. For your enjoyment there are 2 pools, Hot Tub, Gas BBQ area, Putting Green, Volley Ball Court, Sauna and two Shuffle Boards. Public tennis courts are adjacent to the property. Great location in North Kihei, grocery stores and dining within mins.

While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or décor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.Other things to noteThere is no washer/dryer in the unit, but there are coin operated laundry rooms located on each floor.
Starting from April 22nd, 2024, the pool will be temporarily closed until May 6th, 2024, for maintenance.

Maui paradise

We loved the place! Family of 4, two teenagers, stayed at this lovely condo. Location was perfect, close to stores, beaches, surfing spot. Convenience of kitchen and two bathrooms. Morning sunrises on lanai were amazing! Highly recommend this place!

Place was beautiful. Watched the sunset from our balcony. Our unit was nicely appointed and well cared for. The unit was okay for 4 adults, but would be very tight for any more people. The building common areas were a bit dated, however the pool and barbecue area were very nice

Decent Place

Overall, this was a pretty decent place. The place is advertised accurately and it was simple. The beach is amazing. The only issue was that the property was having all pipes replaced and it was a work site. We noticed the laundry room had water and it appeared the place needed a pipe revamp for which they were working on. We would stay here again. Great location.

The view is spectacular. Beautiful sunsets. The courtyard is under construction so it didn't look great. Hopefully, that will be rectified soon.

A week in Maui

The best part of this property was the view. Almost every night we watched the sun go down either from our balcony or the beach at the property (probably 100 yds from the building). There was a man at the resort next to ours who blew a conch shell at sunset - the Hawaiian Island version of Taps. It was magical. Our room faced west, so we didn't actually see the sun rise, but the colors that the sun made in the sky as it grew pink and blue in the morning was also beautiful from the main room and the master bedroom. That is why we rented this property. The beds were comfortable, the master shower was small but the water pressure was good. The balcony had ample room and comfortable furniture. The property was quiet which we appreciated. We also used and appreciated the beach towels and chairs. The beach chairs had straps that you could wear like a backpack which made the haul to the beach much easier. We had an issue with the sink in the master bathroom not draining properly and called management who returned our call and sent maintenance over the same day. The unit is located in Kihei, which definitely has a more local and not resort-y feel. You cannot easily walk places, it's dangerous to walk on the road. There is road construction and not much sidewalk and there are not many street lights in general in Maui. At night it is very dark and risky to walk on the road - due to traffic. But the night sky is amazing.

The condo was great, we really enjoyed the view and the comfort of the place. The only things we would have different is provide simple things like salt & pepper in the kitchen and to give a map of the condo complex or better directions to the condo, as the complex is two buildings and people are arriving with luggage, after a long day of travel and often at night, it would be nice to not have to figure out where the unit is by wandering around.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location, great ocean view, perfect space for four people. We had some confusion about washer and dryers We believed the unit had one in it but it was just down the hall and they were very clean machines. The company complied with our request to have towels exchanged midweek for a fee. However, they charged the owner for a full midweek cleaning, which wasn’t right since they just swapped towels out. But the management company did allow us to check in a couple hours early, replaced batteries in the tv remote for us and were very friendly. We would come back!

Condo was great! Excellent location, nicely decorated and air conditioning works fabulously! Only minor issue is that condo’s location is over the parking g lot, which you cannot tell from the pictures on line, so the view is not as majestic.

10 days in Maui

Pros: beautiful ocean view, comfortable beds, close to Kihei. Cons: long black hair found all over the condo. We even had to rinse it off the walls in the shower. Patio furniture is to big for the space so it is hard to sit around as a family to eat outside and play games. The volleyball court and shuffle board was not useable. The hot tub was broken for most of our stay. Our reserved parking spot was often parked in by someone else.

Enjoyed the lanai. The pool and hot tub were great and not super crowded, which was nice!The toilet/shower rooms are very small, especially the one in the master. It would be helpful if length of stay and number of people were taken in to consideration for some of the materials, specifically trash bags and toilet paper. We stayed 9 nights but were only given 3 trash bags for the kitchen, with instructions to empty it every day. FYI the pool code in the materials provided in the unit was 2 years old according to the maintenance man onsite. The code is changed monthly

Amazing Views

Beautiful & perfect views from the lanai. An umbrella would be super useful to add to your stocked beach supplies. More garbage bags for kitchen and more toilet paper and bath towels for a 4 night stay with 6 adults would be appreciated. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. No major issues. Thank you so much!

Lovely place to stay

Enjoyed our stay at this location. Great location that you can easily use as a base to explore the island. Just note, if you are into cooking, the kitchen is fairly small and comfortably accommodate one chef at a time..

Lovely stay in Kihei

The condo was well-equipped, location was great, photos were accurate. Just a few areas for improvement: 1) sofa sleeper not at all comfortable and sheets were not provided. We bought a foam topper from Costco and that made it reasonable to sleep on. Contacted management and sheets were purchased and delivered the 3rd night of our stay.Could not reach anyone the first few nights because the voicemail box was full. 2) Coffee maker was broken. It was eventually replaced. 3) Property washers and dryers do not operate well. Washers don't spin, dryers don't dry. Despite these issues, our stay was pleasant, property is relatively quiet and well-located.
