Beautiful and fun stay

It was an amazing stay at this cabin! Our dogs loved the freedom of running around and loved every floor! Would definitely stay again

Loved this getaway for our family!

Perfect location and amenities for our family. Our boys love fishing in the pond and throwing horseshoes.

Weekend escape

High end well equipped home! The single lane gravel twisty drive was an adventure for sure.

Great mountain getaway!

Perfect cabin for a family. It had everything you needed and more. Lots to do while at the cabin and not far from town. Cabin was just as described online! Very clean and spacious. Would recommend this cabin every time!

Best cabin in Blue Ridge

We come to the Blue Ridge area at least twice a year. This cabin and property was the best we have stayed at yet! There was so much to do for the kids and dogs. The cabin’s beds were comfortable, the location was secluded, and overall it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy family time together! We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful home, great variety of activities

We had a lovely stay - lots of outdoor space for the kids to play and be loud without disturbing any neighbors (there aren't any!). The drive in is best taken by SUV - road is in good shape but it is still a mountain, gravel road. We had poor weather but found plenty to do in the house and on the property. Great stay, we look forward to coming back!

The best vacation

The booking and communication with the owner were easy. Questions were answered in a friendly and timely manner. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the ability to comfortably visit, the beautiful view and the grounds. Thank you for making our trip memorable. The pictures do not do this property justice.

Unplugged

We enjoyed our stay. To be able to unplug from everything and have peace to clear our minds and resolve inner feelings. Everything was beautiful and so serene. I will definitely be back.

Privacy at its best

Property was advertised as being very secluded and that is just what we wanted. Cabin was as described and we did not see another vehicle or person the entire weekend. It was perfect! It is a little ways from town, but we brought everything we needed and had no desire to leave once we arrived. We will definitely rent this cabin again.

Very nice cabin

Great secluded cabin and my boys caught little fish in the pond and released them. If you have arachnophobia this is not the place for you. Spiders and webs all over.

Nice house. Great property and location.

House was clean and in a great location about 20 minutes from Blueridge. Pond in the back of the property was great for the kids to fish, and poles were in working condition. Property was maintained well. My only concern was that the house had several cameras that aimed directly at the hot tub and seems to include windows into the house in their field of view. Power went out while there and there were no flashlights or emergency lighting - which was a bit awkward.

Unhappy vacation

Too secluded felt stuck and unable to relax had no cell service and power went out last day there due to storm also saw snake on deck right in front of hot tub got lost leaving cabin at checkout wrong turn downed tree blocking road would have liked a guide to come out and lead us to main road very stressful trip

Off the path

The cabin was nice and clean. A few things wish the listing said you had the drive a little over a mile on a gravel road that some parts are very narrow and steep. Would definitely recommend a truck or SUV. To me personally a car would have some issues most of the drive was 8-10 present grade and for about a 100 feet it was a 13 present grade. An although you couldn't see the neighbors you could definitely hear them and their dogs barking. An there is a lot of stairs.

Thank you for staying with us at Secluded Springs. We appreciate your assessment of the road leading to the cabin. Unfortunately, when you reserve a cabin in the mountains you will encounter steep grades to get to the home. In addition, when you are in the mountains, sound carries for long distances unlike in the city. When you visit us again, please feel free to reach out to Guest Services and we may be able to advise what the roads are like prior to making a reservation. Also, in the future, please review the photos online so you may see how many stairs there are, we try to put those items in our photos of the property. We trust you will come back and visit again.

just ok

We really wanted to love this. First off the toilets were disgusting. There was pee and pop in 2 out of the three toilet’s. It wouldn’t have been a problem if we had something to clean it with. I called property management to have them come out to clean it but they couldn’t come out til the next day so luckily my husband had his fishing gloves and there was a kitchen sponge. Someone left their laundry in the dryer. We really wanted to enjoy fishing but the pond was filled with little babies not even big enough to hook. Also apron arrival we couldn’t pull all the way in the drive way because a tree was down. There was another way to enter so we backed up and went another mile around to get in. We did enjoy the hot tub. I think maybe it was a management oversight on cleaning. They really needed to clean the outside pillows on the swing and rockers. I did more cleaning then anything when I first got there which is a bummer when you have to pay a cleaning fee.

Perfect locations for a girls’ weekend!

We had a wonderful, low key weekend in this beautiful home. They even had a cute a Christmas tree set up to make it festive!
