Lovely condo in a gated community at Monte Sol in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. It is a third-floor walkup (no elevator). This property is available for long-term rentals up to 90+ nights. It is great for relaxation yet close to attractions such as El Yunque Rain Forest, Las Croabas bio-luminescent lagoon, and beaches (Luquillo & Seven Seas). Beautifully furnished (condo is on third floor of 4 story walkup, no elevator), A/C, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, indoor laundry, balcony, sleeps six (top grade bedding, 1 king, 2 twins, 1 queen), Wi-Fi through Liberty, Smart TV, equipped kitchen w/utensils, pots, pans, small appliances & covered tandem parking on first floor assigned to unit. Me and my family of 5 enjoyed staying here. The place smelled clean on arrival snd appeared clean. The only recommendations (and these did not stop is from having a good time) would be to make sure the towels dont have fuzz (a lot of them did) and that they dont have stains (a lot of them also had brownish orange stains), the small air fryer/ toaster oven did not work, the main room Shower would spray everywhere when first turning it on, the room with the twin beds the AC smell like it needed a filter change and i would recommend someone come and look at the dryer to get it to work efficiently ( i was hanging clithes on chairs and anything i could find to air dry- bc the dryer did not dry unless i put something 5x to dry).Again none of these recommendations made our stay unpleasant! Thank you for letting us stay at your condo! Happy New years!!

Thanks Neircha for your honest review. The problems you identified have been resolved (new toaster oven, repair/replace stackable washer and dryer), AC vent cleaned again. Please note: This is the tropics and dust accumulates very easily regardless of cleaning. Also, we kept the frayed towels in the storage section of the closet because we put out only the new towels for use by our guests. We understand that since the dryer was not working you were compelled to use all of the towels (including those not set out for use). We are glad that the condo and location met your needs and hope you will return. Thanks again and we hope to host you again.

Perfect

Perfect location if you plan on traveling to any of the smaller islands. Clean with good size room. Easy to get into and out of and the supermarket is right in front. If you’re looking to visit/explore Fajardo this place will be perfect for you and your family.

Almost perfect

Overall it was a great place for us. Our only issue being the stairs as my husband has back issues.The property was mostly clean but could use a good deep cleaning.

As for the deep cleaning, we are normally rating very well on the cleanliness. I will be personally visiting the condo and making a few improvements. It will include painting and extensive cleaning. Great place to stay

This place was great. It is in a great location. You can easily get to any one of the many great locations in PR. The complex is in a gated community for extra ease of mind. There is also a grocery story right outside of the complex as well as many fast food options close by.

Ruth, I am happy that you enjoyed your stay. I am confused that you could not take a bath since there are two full bathrooms with bathtub shower combos. The hot water switch is in the hall utility closet if that is the reason. Also, our property manager is a phone call away and did not receive a call stating there was a problem. When the unit was turned back over to our manager, everything (including both sinks and tubs) was functioning properly. You left the condo in very good condition and are welcome to return in the future.

First day ok, after that security follow me and the family every single dayHarassment and embarrassment, ask many to questions to us and even have the key to the pool do not let my family use. This is the first terrible vacation I have with the family. One of the thing I take this place included pool but security don’t let me I have a autism kid and he wants to go to the pool and stay in the condo 24/7 is not good. amazing place

This has been my third time staying here. Rafael is really nice and makes you feel right at home. The place is warming and really clean. It is also very quiet area. It has everything you need. You have the supermarket, pharmacy, and fast food places within walking distance. I cannot wait to plan my next trip!

Monte Sol property

Stayed on this property for 9 nights. It had everything I expected and more. The 3 bedrooms accomodate at least 6 people comfortably. The property had everything you would need for a day day at the beach; beach chairs, pool noodles, small cooler, and beach toys. My family and I had a great stay. Highly recommended. I would stay at this properly again.

Beautiful condo

Everything that you see in the pictures of the condo is exactly what you get. Quiet area guarded 24 hrs throughout the week, you have beaches close by. The property owner always answers her phone ready to assist you to make your stay comfortable. I recommend this place to anyone. My wife and I enjoyed it

Great place, great location!!

We were unsure what to expect after Maria, but I'm glad we decided to continue with our Puerto Rico vacation plans! The property was in great condition and the owner, Felix, was quick to respond to any message I sent prior to our stay. Upon arrival, the property manager, Rafael, stayed until we got to the property (almost an hour late). We had plenty to do in the area and took several day trips to other areas around the island. Great place and I highly recommend it!!

Fajardo Vacation

Place was clean on the surface but found trash/dust behind furniture. Really needs a deep cleaning. We bought plastic bed covers after finding bugs on bedding. Will not stay there again.

It is unusual for a guest to physically move a heavy piece of furniture to check “behind” it. They sent a picture and there was one piece of trash. They also informed the property manager that they found two bugs. She immediately went to the condo after getting a report from the guest. She thoroughly checked the bed but did not find any bugs though we did not question the guest’s finding since this is the tropics and there has been a lot of rain. The property manager removed the covers on the bed, sprayed and replaced the bedding. The guest was reimbursed for the covers she purchased for the other beds though the beds already had protective covers on them. It is her decision not to return but our other reviews are positive and we rarely have a guest complain about cleanliness of our condo in the eight years we have had this property as a short term rental. In fact, we are usually complimented. We regret the tenants decision but it’s their choice.

Feels Like Home

My friend and I felt safe and comfy at this lovely condo. It provided a good base from which to explore this fascinating island. We enjoyed many snorkeling/swimming trips to amazing Luquillo Beach, dinner and Bio Bay tour at Las Croabas, scuba out of Puerto del Rey marina, and the best snorkel ever at nearby Culebra Island as well as several day-trips to El Yunque National Rainforest Preserve. The owners are amazing and the manager is a helpful friendly teddy-bear.

As owners, we have been lucky in the caliber of guests staying at our condo. During this guest's trip, there was a sewer problem in the area. Although our condo itself had no problems with water or sewage, it was not ideal. We appreciate that these guests were patient and understanding until the issue was resolved. We thank them for their kind words and confidence. We would love to have them as our guests in the future.

Wonderful family vacation

Condo was everything we wanted and more! Spacious enough for our family of 6. We loved having a pool on site and spent a lot of time there. Condos location was in a perfect spot for us, right next to a grocery store and close to everything we wanted to do with the kids. Yunque, bio bay, and the ferry to culebras. Having a washer and dryer made things so easy for us especially with kids. We loved the condo. If we stay in Fajardo again we will rent again. 10/10 will recommend to everyone wanting to travel to that area. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

The place is very clean and Eveyln has been a pleasure doing business with. I have never met her but she makes you feel like you have known her for a long time. This was a awesome vacation for me. Great space and bang for your buck!

Rafael was really helpful and the apartment really has everything you need! It's located about 15-20min from the ferry, so it's the prime location to stay if you'd like to take the ferry to Culebra. We were able to bring beach chairs and a cooler that were available for us in the apartment. Supermarket and liquor store nearby as well as other shops. We were able to visit Luquillo beach easily from there as well. Rafael also had tons of brochures and information for places to go/things to see in the living room...just in case you're not sure!

Good location

Good location for our needs. Close to 7 seas beach, and easy access to main roads. Owner great communicator. Property manager not as great. Owner did allow an earlier check in, but property manager response was slow and ended up getting in 30 min earlier. Bought some new towels, and left them for future guests. This unit is on the 3rd floor. Quiet neighborhood.

Comfortable, Convienent and Affordable

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Monte Sol. Rafael was very helpful from the time we booked until the time we left. The condo was clean, the bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. The location was great for a family of 5 adults who wanted to experience the many adventures on the island (i.e. El Yunque, kayaking, the ferry and beaches). We appreciated having a grocery store within walking distance and liked that the community was gated so that there was very little traffic around. We had a little trouble finding authentic Puerto Rican restaurants in the area so would probably ask for suggestions next time. I would recommend this property and would stay again on my next visit to Puerto Rico.

House confortable and clean

The house was located in a nice area. My experience was good. The only thing I can say is the location. Vrbo shows this house in Florencio. The house is not located in Florencio but in Quebrada Vueltas. Also the swimming pool is not exactly the way is showed in the advertisement. I never saw the swimming pool, I was informed about the swimming pool but I never call to make reservation to use the pool. Overall the house was good place to stay.

Thank you for the review. We have called VRBO multiple times and asked them to correct the listing location. That is one of the reasons we refer to the Monte Sol Shopping plaza as you see the billboard for it in PR3. Please understand that recent storms storms and a hurricanes have a part in the condition of the pool. Repairs have been noted by the HOA! We asked guests to schedule for the pool for a reason. They can see it in advance. Hope that helps.

ANY TIME I AM IN PR I WILL BE STAYING HERE!!!!!

Let me start off by saying that Fajardo is home to my family and the location was perfect for my wife and kids. 1st time she had visited PR and we agreed it was so much better than a hotel. El Conquistador, La playa de Fajardo, Las Croabas, and other good spots were minutes away (driving wise) from the condo. EXTREMELY COZY and a great setup for my family and I. The master bedroom has an excellent bed that invites you after a day at the beach. The AC was really awesome because it does get hot in Puerto Rico. Conveniently located within walking distances from the supermarket, a bakery, fast foods, gas station, a pool, etc.....THIS PLACE COMES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. So much so that we are going back for the family reunion and plan to stay there again !!!!!!!

As a Puerto Rican, I have always loved my country and wanted to own a vacation property away from the hustle and bustle of San Juan yet close enough to visit friends, family, and the sites. Fajardo is a quiet town that is close to all of the attractions. Monte Sol fits my family life style and provides a cost effective vacation rental for my guests. Love the area. It is priced right, clean, and provides wholesome, family related activities.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Fajardo is close to all of the major attractions. We are close to P.R. 3 and it is not necessary to take long winding roads up into the mountains unless you choose to do so. We are a few minutes drive away from the Rain Forest, beautiful beaches, San Juan, shopping, and seaside country towns.
