Welcome to HeartRock Homesite. Our cut flower farmette is stocked with modern comforts for all ages. An outdoor playground. Most folks that come end up simply wanting to stay due to the wow factor! We have 15 acres to roam, 6 friendly goats, and flowers bursting with colors all outside. Inside our beds are high end Novaform mattresses to give you guaranteed restful sleep. There truly is something for everyone. Have you ever heard the whippoorwill sing while watching the stars or grazed organic veggies amongst the morning dew or felt a seasoned sunset kiss your heart? Come on over, You'll be glad you did.

If you are booking over a holiday period you must book for 3 consecutive nights. If you do not book for 3 consecutive nights you will be asked to cancel and we will not host your party. Thank you for understanding.

Beautiful place. Nice location, cute town close by. We did not find a traditional hot tub. They have a jet tub in one of the bathrooms. Six 6 adults slept comfortably. Lots of room to explore.

We were there on the off season, but accommodated our large family comfortably. I can imagine the event venue is wonderful for a wedding or workshop space.

I would highly recommend this darling home for anyone visiting the Central Virginia/Charlottesville area! The house has all the comforts of home. Very clean and decorated beautifully. Sleeping accommodations were super comfortable. The property itself is stunning! Has that cabin in the woods feel and amazing outdoor spaces. Kim was more than helpful & took care of all our needs. She responded quickly to our questions as well! Do yourself a favor & stay here! I am sending the link to all my friends & family to spread the word!

My first VRbo experience. Such a lovely property. Loved the whole experience, owners are very responsive. Nice to have a large well appointed kitchen, and three full bathrooms. The property is beautiful, with paths and places to explore. We especially liked the 4 legged greeter, Bilbo the cat.

Lovely property

This was a perfect spot for my family to meet up with another family and enjoy each others company. The kids loved the goats! The house is very cozy. We enjoyed using the wood stove and the jacuzzi tub.

We were here for a wedding in a nearby town and were pleasantly surprised that "Walton's Mountain" was so close. The property met all of our needs, plenty of space, cleanliness and multiple bathrooms. Peaceful surroundings we never heard the goats but saw them every day. Great communication with the hosts, very detailed and everything was ready for us to have a great stay.

Relaxing country stay

Comfortable beds, clean, enjoyed roaming the property with the goats, cat and sitting near pond. Very relaxing. We had a lovely time.

A delightful getaway, plus Bilbo!

We had a friends weekend and had a blast at the property. The house was really nice, the scenery and outdoor amenities were fantastic, and the host was super responsive to any questions we had and a delight to work with. Added bonuses were the nearby goats and Bilbo the cat who was super friendly :)

Amazing!

We had such a wonderful time, it’s the perfect place to enjoy nature and decompress with a group of friends or family. Bilbo and all the goats were such a wonderful plus and made the stay so enjoyable! Kim and Greg were great hosts and made sure we had everything we would need. This is definitely a place to keep coming back to every season!

Friends get away

We had a great time. The home was wonderful and waking up to goats strolling around was an added benefit. And there was lots to do in the area and walking around the farm. Would absolutely return.

Lovely quiet cabin

We enjoyed our brief stay and wish we'd had more time to explore the local area. Everything was as described. Host had great written communication through the app and the binder in the house had really helpful info about the area.

Great getaway

Wonderful.

Second time here. Incredibly well stocked kitchen, very clean, comfortable, homey. Last visit was winter and it was delightfully peaceful and quiet and desolate. This time it was a bit a-buzz with planting the veg garden and landscape mulching. Not noisy or disruptive, just coming alive with Spring. I can only imagine how great that garden will look in a few months! The owners are continually improving the property, and are hands on with the improvements - they work very hard and have a lot of pride in this sanctuary. Best of all, I appreciate that I can bring my furry bestie. That makes it perfect.

Can't wait to return.

Extremely clean! Incredibly well equipped kitchen - many large utensils, beautiful dishware, lovely stemware, the best ever huge hardwood cutting board, quality cookware, good knives (!), large stunning table & chairs, gorgeously appointed decor, many of which are antiques. Large very comfortably furnished porch. Great grill/smoker. Aprons - plural!!! Comfy blankets, towels, bed linens. Seating everywhere. full washer and dryer. High end, easy to use vacuum (yeah, that's totally me - guests aren't expected to vacuum). Full size new washer and dryer. Coffee machine that gives you a choice between carafe or single Keurig style brew. Organic Keurig selection! Separate enough spaces for larger groups. Candles! A gas cooktop! Very pleasant and helpful hosts. Really superb and friendly house cleaner I was fortunate enought to meet. Delightfully solitary land. Incredible pond with lounge chairs for sunning. Very social goats. One of the best parts for me - aside from obv the kitchen :-) was the wood stove. So comforting. Also! Play the Appalachia DVD. Worth it. Uniquely welcoming and personable cat. Literally walks to your car when you arrive - even in pouring rain. Enjoy as much or little of him as you prefer. Just make sure he's not checking out your car interior before you shut the trunk/hatch. Didn't want to leave. Can't wait to return. Thank you for this piece of my kind of paradise. ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful property, comfortable home

We had a very comfortable stay. The home has everything you need and is beautifully decorated. The only potential issue to consider is that the beds are quite high off the ground, so helpful to know for those who may have mobility issues.

Private weekend getaway

8 of us needed a place to stay for the weekend. We were attending a wedding nearby at Avon Hill, Bruce's Barn. We were only about 15 minutes away from the venue. The property was very private and very farmlike. We loved the goats that came right up to the fence for petting. Very nice weekend, thank you.

Wedding Weekend

We rented this property for my husband, adult son, daughter and her husband and three young children while we were in the area for my other son’s wedding. The house and property are lovely and well kept. It was a very private and secluded location. The only drawback was the night time drives back and forth from wedding events. Roads are winding and very dark. Other than that it was awesome!

I am a fun, adventurous, nature loving, teacher and farmer! The outdoors is my place of paradise. I have an amazing husband that can build anything and two beautiful daughters that are equally adventurous. We have been living in Schuyler for over 8 years. Our property has become a homestead retreat, where we host summer camps for children, and have group retreats on occasion. We are stewards of our land and love being caretakers. When we are not tending to the farm we LOVE to kayak or travel.

We said yes to our property before we even walked into the house. It's quiet, in the middle of no where yet only 20 mins from the cute town of Lovingston, 40 mins from Charlottesville and 40 mins from Lynchburg. The sunsets are so pretty, and the forest feels like a hedge of protection from the fast pace life.

The sound of the whippoorwill, evening bull frogs, and cicadas mark their territory with your evening symphony. Relaxing by the newly developed pond, the deck or tubing on the river, you will enjoy the love of the days and your heart within. Simply peace.
