This 2 bedroom cottage sits just steps away from the beautiful white sands of Popham Beach. Enjoy your morning coffee as you watch the sunrise over the ocean and the moon shine over the water as the stars fill the sky! Everything you need will be found inside this cute cottage to make your stay relaxing, peaceful and rejuvenating. A fully equipped kitchen to have lobster dinner one night and steaks on the grill the next is at your fingertips. But if going out for dinner is your preference there are some spectacular ocean side restaurants just a short ride away. Enjoy walking the 7 miles of pristine sandy beach, riding the waves, watching the sailboats dance across the water , fly a kite at the beach or spot a seal off one of the islands. There is so much to enjoy right from the view of this cottage you'll never want to leave. But if shopping and sight seeing is of interest there is much to do in surrounding area. Just a fabulous Maine get away!
Please note. Our association requires 7 night stays but exceptions can be made to accommodate a minimum of at least 3 - 4 night stay during July and August. April, May, June, September and October rates represent a 3 night minimum weekend rate.
All guests must be 25 years of age or accompanied by a parent. This home is part of an association and rules set by the association must be adhered to. No Unit Owner shall obstruct or interfere with the rights of other occupants or annoy them by unreasonable noise or otherwise. No Unit Owner shall use the Common Elements or Limited Common Elements for any activity that would obstruct or deter views, ingress or egress by other Unit Owners or guests or invitees Boats longer than 12 feet, motor homes, campers, trailers of any kind, tents, shacks, sheds or other outbuildings are not allowed on the property. Storage for boats less than 12 feet, dinghies, kayaks and paddle boards shall be within the Unit Owners Limited Common Element and not obstruct the view of any other Unit owner No trash, rubbish or other offensive materials or materials degrading in appearance shall be allowed to exist on the Units or Common Elements excluding any area designated for trash and/or recycling by the Association
As of 2020 we no longer supply linens or towels. With current sanitizing and cleaning protocols we have decided it is in the best interest of all guests to bring their own linens and towels. We do have a washer and dryer in cottage ( detergent supplied). However if this is a logistical issue (airplane travel) please let me know and we can arrange professional linen service at an additional cost.

Beautiful cottage steps away from a fantastic beach perfect for long walks. The cottage was well stocked with all essentials and very comfortable. Debbie, our host, was very easy to communicate with and provided a well organized folder with information about the area. Loved the ocean views!

Stunning Stay!

This beautifully decorated cottage sits on an absolutely stunning piece of the Maine coast! The photos cannot capture the magic of the view. When we did decide to leave, the nearby forts were fascinating to explore and a little drive to Bath offered every amenity needed, wonderful shopping, delicious dining, and rich shipbuilding history. We look forward to getting back very soon!

A Taste of Heaven!

We very much enjoyed this property! Our family has stayed at Popham Beach for many, many years and this cottage only added to our wonderful memories! It was clean, the kitchen was well-equipped with seasonings, cooking oil and other basic necessities, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and it was easy to be in touch with Debbie, the property mananger. Debbie was wonderful to deal with! Every aspect of this property was pleasant.

Perfect location

This was a perfect location for our yearly family vacation to Maine. The only thing that was unexpected is the beach access in front of the cabin was not usable the first few days due to uncontrollable changes in the shore line. There was an alternative access but I bit farther of a walk and not as direct. This however is out of control of the home owner and the last few days the sand was brought back in with the tides and the stairs were usable again. We would love to revisit this beautiful location in the future!

When Things Go Wrong -Laugh

The cottage was delightful and the location fantastic, right on a beautiful beach. Windows in LR and dining had a great view of ocean and could hear the surf. Arrived 5:30pm Friday evening looking forward to drinks overlooking the beach. The refrig was off. NO ICE, had to go back out for ice. We did find the circuit breaker and got the refrig on Sat morning the toilet was plugged up. Couldn't find a plunger. called owner who responded in 1/2 hr. She said she thought there was one in cottage next door, which she also owned. There was. Took MUCH strength and a lot of tries but got it going. Called owner back to say seemed OK. BUT it wasn't. Had to call again Sunday AM. She wasn't sure if she could reach her handyman and we discussed maybe a plumber would be necessary. Wasn't sure if it would be that day or Monday. We left Tues AM at 10AM. No one ever showed up to address the problem. Using the BR next door was an inconvenience but we laughed at the situation and refused to let it spoil our time. Having to bring own linens and towels was an unnecessary nuisance. We have a small car and 4 people. There is a $150 housekeeping fee. This should have been provided. COVID was just an excuse

Beautiful Location and excellent property.

The location was better than we expected. Easy access for long walks on the beach. The cottage itself was very well stocked, and we were able to cook most meals in the well equipped kitchen. We can't wait to come back!

Spectacular Ocean View

This is my third stay at these cottages. This cottage was the best in terms of comfort and furnished supplies. We love the quiet and less populated beach this location provides. Would definitely stay in this cottage again.

Perfect getaway!

The cottage is right on the beach. The cottage is quaint and has everything you need for your stay. There is no need for a relaxation app just close your eyes and listen. The sound of waves sings all day and night. It was so peaceful. Daily walks on the beach are a must. Weā€™ll be going back.
