We hope you will find our home to be comfortable & relaxing ā€“ ā€œjust like homeā€. We have put many things into this home to make it very enjoyable & a place you want to come back to every year. Just a short walk to the beach access (1 block) will get your toes in the sand in no time! After a long day on the beach, take a stroll down to the point to see the most amazing sunsets.

The open floor plan gives you plenty of room for entertaining and spending all your waking hours with family and friends, extra pub table for playing games or working a puzzle and a large kitchen for cooking. Our bedrooms have names to make it a fun place to remember where everyone sleeps ā€“ LOL! Ocean Break is the king master with double sinks & a walk-in tiled shower. Floā€™s room (name derived after a Flamingo) has a queen bed, master bath attached, double sinks & a tub/shower inset. Want a peaceful quiet atmosphere? Go to The Palm room for that serine feeling. Sheer white drapes adorn this queen bedroom giving you the feel of being in the islands with the wind blowing. Our Tiki Room is the most colorful and perfect for kids. Flamingo Point is just minutes from all Emerald Isle has to offer with many types of restaurants, bike trails, and other fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.

We hope you will consider this rental for your next vacation home. The house has so much warmth & love put into it that our hope is that you will feel it once you step over the front door threshold.

family friendly stay!

we absolutely loved staying here for our family reunion! was very impressed with how toddler friendly this home was - the exterior decks had gates to block off the stairs and there was a pack n play and a high chair. downstairs was a great hangout space while the baby was napping. quick walk to the beach and a lot of great restaurants within 5-10 min driving distance. would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This place was perfect. The location is a short, less than 10 min walk to a pretty private beach. The point seems quieter than other parts of Emerald Isle but Iā€™ve only visited once before. I have an 8, 6 and an almost 2 year old and we let the older kids run around the property and street, without any worries of traffic or anything else.Anything you need for the beach, minus beach towels, they have. Umbrellas, beach carts, chairs, toys, games, they have it all! The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cooking supplies. The beds are comfortable (not like a luxe hotel but pretty comfy by beach house rental standards) and the rooms are well appointed. Whether you have furr babies or human babies, they have everything (water/food bowls, outside leads, highchair, pack n play). The house is beautifully decorated and you really feel like youā€™re at home, yet on vacation. We would definitely come back to this house. Thank you for an amazing vacation

Terrific House!

This was the perfect house for my family's beach vacation in Emerald Isle! The location was exceptional, the house was super clean and well-stocked, and even provided beach items ( chairs, wagons, toys ) for guests' use. We highly recommend this property for your next vacation to the Crystal Coast!

Perfect spot at The Point

Very clean and comfortable! Plenty of amenities including dog treats for our pet! Kitchen well stocked for cooking. We all slept well so beds were comfortable. Big beach supply selection including wagons, a lot of chairs, sand toys and small umbrellas also a couple of bikes. You will need your own beach towels. We had a wonderful stay at this charming home and hope to return in the future.

Great pet-friendly getaway

We found this house at the last minute for a long weekend getaway with our dog, and it was just what we needed. It has been recently remodeled, and is decorated with a fresh coastal vibe. The owner provided so many things, like starters on all the things you have to bring to other properties (e.g. dish soap, trash bags, paper towels), beach items like chairs, and even a couple of bikes to use. The walk to the beach was quick, and the point was beautiful. We highly recommend this property.

Really great house!

Enjoyed our stay. The house was wonderful and we had a great stay; well furnished and decorated; had everything we needed. The only feedback I would provide is that the TV service was a big challenge to use (for everyone and we're fairly tech saavy). The system was hard to navigate and all the channels we wanted to watch required a subscription. Netflix and Prime Video worked fine, but to access everything else was hard. Maybe if all the channels we couldn't use were filtered out it would have made it easier to deal with. Or maybe just basic cable. I realize that people don't come to the beach primarily to watch TV but it's nice to have easy access to news and other basic channels. Include this comment as food for thought; I know it costs extra to provide, but it would be a plus to have. Otherwise, we were completely happy with the house and would definitely book it again!

Addressed but did not change the outcome of our stay

Uncleaned rental upon arrival. Property manager was duked by cleaners. Property manager was very responsive. However our primary complaint was due to bug encounters. Property manager claimed homeowner was aware of our concern. Homeowner claimed to not have all the details. Bug guy confirmed our concerns and did his best to beat the beast. Either way we dealt with this issue everyday but one. Not ok! Very unpleasant experience. We paid money to work harder & smarter during our stay. Beautiful home but not so cute to over look all the guests present.

Absolutely Wonderful Beach House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this property 7/6/26-7/13/25. We had a wonderful time. The host provided all the necessary items for daily living, ex: dishes, glasses, flatware, dish towels, coffee maker, etc. The home was also clean and tidy. The host also has books and a few board games. This home also has a washer and dryer, although it is separate from the main living in the home. You have to go outside to access the locked laundry area under the garage. It can be a pain to carry laundry back and forth, up and down the stairs each time, especially if you have a large family with lots of laundry. Otherwise, the house is wonderful and provides a relaxing vacation spot. My one and only legitimate complaint isn't even about the home, it's about the public beach access you have to use in this neighborhood to access the beach. It is not easy for physically disabled people to navigate. If you're staying with older relatives or relatives with mobility issues, the beach access will be difficult for them. It is a short walk to the wooden walkway of the beach access, but the wooden walkway ends and you then have to walk down one sand dune and up over another sand dune. I would also mention that this makes it incredibly difficult to pull any type of wagon or cart to the beach. My husband literally dragged our cart through the sand up and down the hills everyday and it was a struggle. There's no way I could have done it. I'm relatively young (37), but have multiple sclerosis and just slowly walking down and up over those dunes is difficult for me. Please consider this when searching for a home in this location. I hope my review can help you make the right decision for you and your family!The home is 9/10, but the beach access is 4/10.
