Tucked away on a ridgetop at 4200 ft, this cabin offers an escape into nature just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our home is situated right between Maggie Valley and Cherokee, close to many hikes and attractions. Enjoy a private setting on a quiet road with incredible views. This cabin offers all the comforts of home including a fully stocked kitchen, a gas fireplace, as well as a spacious deck with a grill.

• 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a cozy living room, full kitchen, washer and dryer, spacious deck for taking in the beautiful panoramic views.
• Kitchen: Fully equipped, Keruig & drip coffee maker, breakfast bar, stainless steel appliances, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, crock pot, blender
• Indoor Living: Gas fireplace, TV with ROKU for Streaming, Washer & Dryer, WiFi, Puzzles, Books, Central Heating/AC
• Outdoor Living: Large deck with breathtaking mountain views, gas grill, wood burning fire pit, outdoor dining table and seating

• Please note: Driveway is steep but paved for good traction. Property is located on a well maintained gravel road and some parts are steep. I will be sending detailed directions on the easiest route to get there.

This cabin is fantastic! BEWARE OF STEPS. If you have mobility issues, there are 14 steps you must go up and down to get to the cabin. Michelle is a wonderful host, responds very quickly to any communication. The cabin is spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and equipped with anything you might need. Has a beautiful view of the mountains from the back deck.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Check in was easy and the cabin was very clean. The bed was comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. The views are beautiful! The area is very quiet, yet just minutes from nearby towns and sites. The only issue we had was the driveway, which takes a few times parking to get used to maneuvering, but this was a minimal issue. I would definitely recommend this cabin!

Michelle is a wonderful host. Making sure we enjoyed our stay and giving us restaurant ideas for our Anniversary dinner that was top notch! We love the cabin and the area. Plenty to do or you can just stay in the cabin and cook your own food…..that is mostly what we did this year. Relax and watch the sun come up on the deck and take in the amazing Mountain View. 2 years in a row and we plan to continue to make this our wedding anniversary spot. We love this Cabin!

We stayed here last weekend. The biggest wow factor is the view off the back porch. Simply amazing. I spent a lot of time out there. The cabin itself is beautifully rustic and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The beds were super comfy. Michelle was the most responsive host I have dealt with and was very helpful with any question or anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved this property! Only suggestion would be a need for anti slip strips to be placed on the steep wooden steps that got very slick after the rain.We don’t remember the listing showing the 14 steep stairs going into the cabin- the only point of entry. My husband is 68 and has a knee that gives out on him randomly… so it was dangerous for us. We would have chosen another place. Thank you!

Quaint and peaceful

Cabin very clean, peaceful and great views! Everything we needed was there. We felt like it was a centralized location to everything we wanted. We had fair warning about the driveway being very steep but we made it fine and glad to have the warning.

Cabin was very nicely decorated and had everything needed to make stay wonderful. View was fantastic, beds super comfortable and very well cleaned. Michele was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive.

Beautiful cabin! Communication with Michelle was great! So glad we took our car instead of our truck, we never would have been able to turn it around to be able to drive up the drive to leave the cabin. Loved our stay here!

Great cabin

Very nice, well appointed cabin with great view. The elevation provided cool much appreciated temp in June compared to our home in Florida. 17 degree slope of drive and required 5 pt turn around at bottom was a little problematic but doable. Appreciated being able to bring my 2 beagles. Close to blue ridge pkwy and smokies np. Would come again!

Beautiful stay

Spent a week at Michelle's place. From the moment I inquired, communication w her was a breeze. Great kitchen, beds, view. Minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smokey Park. Tons of hiking near by. Nice gas fireplace added to ambience and heated well. Can't wait to be in that neck of the woods again!!!! Thanks Michelle!!!

NC Mountains Fall 2024

Gorgeous view from the deck of this well appointed, comfortable, clean cabin. The hostess was only a text away the whole time we were there. The bed in the master bedroom was sooo comfortable. The only negative for me was 12 steps down to the front door. There are rails and strips to prevent slipping though. But just be prepared for those steps.

Mountain December Holiday

We traveled to NC from Florida for our December Holiday. After looking at a number of potential places to stay we came across the Cranberry Falls listing. Our goal was to find a place that was reasonably close to stores, Asheville and still had the seclusion of the mountains plus pet friendly as we were bringing along our dog. This cabin hit all of those requirements and then some. After reading the reviews we absolutely felt this was the best place for us. Everything that we read regarding the ambiance, charm, cleanliness, and location was spot on. The only thing that took us a little while to navigate was getting all of our streaming channels working as there is no cable as mentioned in the listing. To be fair, most of the issues were due to user error and once we figured it out everything went extremely well. Michelle was absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful, responsive and accommodating regarding any questions we had during our stay. As we traveled in December, we were a little concerned about what we read regarding the driveway and the steepness of it. At first look it is a little daunting but after we pulled in and out a couple of times it was actually fairly easy to turnaround and back into the carport despite driving a full-size Chevy Tahoe. The cabin itself is exactly as the photos show and the view was magnificent of the surrounding mountains. There isn't anything lacking from an amenity standpoint, and we will definitely be returning again in the near future. We cannot recommend this cabin enough and really appreciate how attentive Michelle was to any of our questions or requests. You won't be disappointed!

Lovely rental

Everything was very nice, impressive decor. Only drawback was the steep driveway, but the view and cabin made up for that! Michelle was a sweetheart to deal with. Highly recommend!
