Welcome to Mermaid Cove, our newly updated beach townhouse is beautiful, spacious, and right across from the Gulf of Mexico and Whitecap Beach!

Welcome to our 4 bedroom slice of heaven!
Mermaid Cove is fully equipped, newly furnished and well appointed!
Our townhome includes Spectrum cable, smart TVs, high speed WiFi and full washer and dryer in the unit.

Our functional floor plan has a master and queen suite, 2 full bathrooms on the first floor.

The second floor offers two secondary bedrooms (one queen and one with two twin beds)
Bedrooms share one full bathroom
A half bath is also on the 2nd floor

As you walk into our townhouse you are welcomed by warm bamboo wood floors that lead to 2 bedrooms.

Downstairs you will find an oversized master suite which offers a King Size bed with luxury linens.
Enjoy our 75 inch Samsung smart tv with Spectrum app included, seating area, a desk area, and a furnished back porch to drink your coffee, wine or cocktail.

The private master bathroom offers a double sink vanity, bath tub, an oversized tiled shower, and a large walk in closet.

The additional bedroom downstairs offers a Queen size bed, a sitting area, a 50 inch Samsung Smart tv with spectrum app, and a full size bathroom with a double sink vanity and standing shower.

A queen size bed with an over sized closet in one bedroom and 2 twins beds with an over sized closet in the other.
They both feature a 50 inch Samsung smart tv with the Spectrum app included.
Each bedroom has a doorway that leads to a balcony overlooking the pool area.

Upstairs Bedrooms share a bathroom that is equipped with a double vanity sink, beach therapy amenities and a tub shower combo.

Mermaid Cove features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, cookware, dinnerware and all kitchen essentials to make you feel at home and makes it easy to entertain. Our large dinner table seats 10 people
Large enough to host a beautiful dinner or even host a game night. (75inch screen Samsung Smart TV with spectrum cable box)

Finally, enjoy your coffee using our Keurig + full coffee pot or make use of our blender for smoothies or mid afternoon margaritas!

The upstairs living area expands out to a balcony overlooking the Gulf!

Spacious for everyone

Watching the sunrise from this balcony is our favorite past time. It’s a nice place to read a book or people watch from a distance!!

Each bedroom and bathroom is appointed with luxury linens and towels.
We also offer a Basket of beach towels to make life easier!

Feel free to use the brand new full size washer and dryer. (In townhouse)

This was an amazing property! BEAUTIFUL view, excellent kitchen/dining area, comfortable living area and extremely spacious bedrooms- the main bedroom with en suite was awesome!

This location was perfect for us!

I could not be happier with the 5 nights we just spent at Mermaid Cove. This was a special event for us since my husband was turning 80! His kids and grandkids came to celebrate and we all had the BEST time! This home made it extra special. I was just beautiful, comfortable, relaxing, and the location was great for us. None of us wanted to be in the middle of an overcrowded beach scene, and yet, we were literally right across the street from the beach! Wow! We could drive down to Port Aransas, or into town (Corpus Christi), or just out to the main road with plenty of restaurants and a new grocery store. We rented a cart to get around and it worked out great. The host was very helpful and there was just the nicest feeling about our time here. We will definitely return. Thanks Trish.

Great T-giving

This was our first visit to Corpus to join extended family, in- laws for Thanksgiving. Seven stayed at Mermaid Cove and absolutely loved it. Large dining room so we hosted dinner, plenty of room for 14. Well equipped kitchen to prepare everything, including an instant pot! Bed are so comfortable! The set up was perfect for our group, beds for the two kids and parents, two beds down for the other adults. The place is clean and well maintained. Lots of nice provisions like beach towels, plenty of bath towels, charging hubs, serving pieces. it could not have been better for our group. Thanks so much.

Perfect spot for friends getaway

You know how you find a rental property that changes the game? That is this place. The place was beautiful… the pictures are accurate not some staging job. I loved loved loved working directly with the owner. I travel to this area 1-2 times a year and am not a fan of working with the property management groups on the island. Trish had great communication and responses and was great to work with even gracious in responding to feedback. Nice little added touch to have: plenty of beach towels, TP, mini beverages already chilled, and some snickers bars. 😉 AC was cold and the house was super clean and smelled good (how often do you say that about a beach rental??) Large dining table was great for game night when it rained. Pantry had all the small appliances you could want PLUS some. Blankets were abundant for snuggling up with a book. We were a group of 50 somethings and this place was a perfect fit. Able to park a jeep gladiator in the garage. Covered patio with comfortable furniture -and an unobstructed view of the water was a plus. We will definitely stay again in the future. Thanks Trish!

Mermaid Cove is a very nice place to stay while at Padre Island! The condo, which felt like a large home, is very modern and clean! It is very spacious and accommodated our party of 7, plus 2 dogs, with ease! The owner was very responsive and sent proactive messages before we arrived and just before we checked out. Mermaid Cove is also walking distance to the beach. We already plan on staying again! Highly recommended!!

Great Place!

Enjoyed our stay on the island! Condo was as listed - very comfortable and clean and kitchen was very well stocked. Convenient to the beach, too. The owner was quick on answering any questions we had.

Annual Beach Trip w/the Family

Easy access to the beach. This kitchen had all the necessities and had plenty of room for everyone. The seating in the living room was great and all the bedrooms were super comfy. Absolutely love the garage! Came in super handy.

Peaceful and Comfortable!

We had a lovely restful stay at Trish's property. The property looks exactly like it does in the photos. There was plenty of space for our family. The photos don't show how comfortable the beds and couches are! This is one gripe I have with many rental properties-- the beds and furniture look nice but aren't comfy. Not the case here! High quality bedding, mattresses, and living room furnishings. There is a balcony off the living area that looks over the water (no buildings in between you and your beach view), and It's a 5 minute walk to the beach . The kitchen is nice and well-equipped. Very large dining table so you can have meals on one end and do puzzles on the other, plus seating in the kitchen. Great for a large family gathering or a smaller family like ours who like to spread out. I definitely would return and recommend!

Beautiful and Relaxing property!

1st time renting via VRBO and it was fantastic! The owner was very accommodating with answering questions before we got there and she created such a relaxing atmosphere from the moment we walked in the door. Nice & cool with dim lighting & music in the background. Rooms were just like the photos (it was so beautiful, i plan to change my decor at home!). View of water from balcony, you can actually drive about a block down to a parking lot with beach access so you can carry all your gear down a ramp & you’re on the beach. Although if u don’t have much gear you can walk through a parking lot across the street. There were beach towels, bags & a cooler to use in case you don’t want to bring too much…some sodas & water in the fridge, a bowl of candy & koozies on the counter! Great kitchen & laundry room. It rained half the time we were there so the big screen TV was a plus and of course being able to sit out on the patio was awesome! Thank you Trish! You obviously like making your renters feel at home.

Great Visit

Location was perfect. You could walk to the beach or drive on from just minutes away. Place was clean and had everything you would need for a short stay. It was also perfect for 6 grown adults and a child for everyone to have their own space.

Renting was easy and the place is spacious & beautiful. Fully supplied with everything you can think of that you would need. Located within waking distance from the beach. We made some great family members to cherish forever.

Enjoyed our stay

The place was as advertised and had everything you would need for a stay at the beach. We had plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy ourselves. It was also located near the things we wanted to access. We had some issues with the AC and disposal, but the manager/owner was very attentive and responsive to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Would definitely seek out this property again for another stay.

Wonderful stay!

Wow! This home exceeded our expectations at every turn. The owner personally manages the property with pride and it shows in every detail: furnishings, supplies, decor, and attention to detail. The best rental we have found on the coast and we can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful house, great location

We had a great stay at this property. There was plenty of room, the house was clean and bright. The beach is just a short walk away. I loved that the kitchen was fully stocked and the owner left some special treats for our kids and us. We will come back, thanks for a great stay!

Best rental we have ever stayed in!!!!

We have stayed at many places while traveling and this was by far the BEST!! The location was great. The house was UNBELIEVABLE!!!! All you need to bring are your clothes, sunscreen, toothbrush and toothpaste! Everything else was provided (beach towels shampoo, soap etc.). The beds were amazingly comfortable!! The dining area is set up to seat 10-12 easily and comfortably! The view, the beach- everything was great! The hostess was great. She was available to answer Q’s and recommend restaurants. I can say enough great things about this place. It was by far a “12” on the 1-10 scale! We are looking forward to our next stay!

AH-Mazing!!!!!

The property was so awesome, clean and beautifully decorated! The host was super nice and easy to get ahold of if needed. The beach is super close, just a short walk across the street and the views from the patio were so beautiful! My college girlfriends and I had an amazing girls getaway weekend and we’ll definitely be back!! There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space & never felt on top of each other or cramped. Also-The kitchen is STOCKED with everything! Thank you Mermaid Cove!

Great Vacation Spot!

We have been coming to Corpus Christi/Mustang Island for the past 40 years and this is now our favorite place to stay. Everything was provided including beach towels and a fully equipped kitchen. The location is very close to the beach with great views of the ocean from the 2nd floor balcony. The condo was extremely clean and in near perfect condition. We plan on returning here for our annual family trip.

Home away from Home

This property is BEAUTIFUL with all the comforts of home and a short (about 5min.) walk to the beach - AMAZING location! We had everything we needed to feel as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The couches and beds were so comfy and the place was extremely nice and clean. The view from the balcony of the gulf was amazing and the other balcony was overseeing the pool. The owners are awesome and friendly and we knew they wanted to ensure we had a great stay - which we DID. They even gave us advice on nearby restaurants and horseback riding on the beach. We had an amazing stay here and we will be back and would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Great place to stay

This townhome was everything I wanted in a vacation! It was clean,comfortable,it felt like a home not a rental , you name it she had it( plates, shot glasses,Netflix, blender, towels beach bags and it also had great access to beach! Loved it!!!
