The Long Dream House

The Long Dream House (surface 98 m² / 1055 ft²) features three bedrooms all on the same floor. The two master bedrooms have king beds and the other bedroom has two double beds. The bedrooms can be locked, but the rest of the house is open space. This Manzanillo rental house has two bathrooms, one in each of the master bedrooms.

Magical

Everything was wonderful. Cabin feels remote while being near all amenities. You can enjoy your day while being immersed in the jungle. Staff were excellent. We received updates every morning about activities in the community. All 7 of us (4 adults, 3 children) had ample space and enjoyed the stay.

Lost in Paradise

What an experience to stay at Congo Bongo, in nature, beautiful surroundings, wildlife all around, walk to the beach. Everyone was so helpful and kind. They could find/recommend anything we needed, restaurants, tours, tattoo artist :) ect and brought extra towels when necessary and even did laundry. Nothing I can think of.

Exactly the Costa Rican experience we were hoping for!

Loved the open air common areas and private rooms. Loved the daily laundry service. Loved the filtered water. Loved the bowler monkeys above us. Loved the artistic property. Loved the fans, rocking chairs and hammocks. Loved the flashlights, umbrellas, outdoor shower, shopping baskets and appliances. Maybe pillows for the chairs for the people who like a softer seat

Un logement très confortable au milieux de la jungle où on peut observer de nombreux paresseux, des grenouilles et des singes. Un accueil des plus sympathique avec la possibilité d’observer des paresseux accompagnée par la propriétaire. Un chemin d’accès privé à la plage très agréable. Nous recommandons ce lieux pour un moment de détente, de découverte et d’immersion en pleine nature

Unforgettable experience!

Congo Bongo Eco Lodge is such a gem!! I'm so glad we found it. We loved everything about Congo Bongo - the location in the jungle is priceless, the service and the friendliness of the staff, and especially Marisol was great! The Long Dream House is larger than it looks on the pictures, and absolutely cozy! You can hear the sounds of the jungle all around, howler monkeys, sloths and tucans in the trees above the bungalow, and all kinds of exotic species of flora and fauna. There is a great beach, which feels deserted and all to yourself just five minutes away via a short walk in the jungle. The proximity to Cahuita NP, and Gandoca-Manzanillo preserve makes this a great location to explore the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. We were there in mid June which is the beginning of the rainy season, and the weather was unpredictable - rainy one hour, sunny the next, but that's part of the magic! It did not stop us from doing all sorts of activities, and simply lie in the hammocks and enjoy the rain when we were homebound. I highly recommend Congo Bongo. Thank you to the owners and staff for making our stay unforgettable!

Up close with the Jungla.

This was my second stay at Long House. This house is part of Congo-Bongo which offers a full service of laundry and house cleaning. it is wonderful. the staff and owners are super friendly and helpful with your plans for activities.The pictures show how beautiful the house is and they don't lie. Be aware that the houses are very open air, except the bedrooms, so there will be bugs! it is the jungle and that is why you came. To be up lose with nature! We love this whole area and hope to return again.
