Rustic Retreat is a beautiful 2 bed, 1 bath cabin with a loft near Pigeon Forge.  Nestled on 2.3 acres, this charming cabin provides an escape from the daily hustle & bustle, yet it's only 5 minutes from action in Pigeon Forge. Rustic Retreat would be perfect for a couple's getaway or family retreat. Upon your arrival, you'll enjoy a wide-open area to park and keyless entry to access the cabin.

✨ PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS ✨

You'll enter into the main-level living area that features an open floor plan, spacious kitchen with a standard coffee maker, dining room, and hallway leading to the master bedroom and adjacent bathroom, as well as a utility room that's equipped with a washer and dryer.  Just off the kitchen is the private back porch surrounded by trees and features a hot tub and a gas grill.  Directly behind the entry door is a set of stairs that leads to the second bedroom.  This loft-style bedroom features a queen bed, two roll-away twins, and an office area.

I plan to interact with the guests to ensure they have a five star stay!

Great location. Cabin had every utencile you could need, towels, bedding etc. Hot tub was warm and clean. Cute and cozy cabin with lovely dining room. Great loft area. The only improvement i could sugest would be newer beds, they were not the most comfortable we've slept on.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location! We had everything we needed to make it a very comfortable and wonderful stay! Tucked away in the trees in a quiet spot, but close enough to all the action of the area. The kids stayed super comfortable in the loft with the space of their own, while we parents got the privacy of a big bedroom downstairs. Great cabin!

Cabin Nestled on a Steep Mountain

Overall good stay at this cabin nestled on a steep mountain with few issues — lovely host. Accessibility can be challenging after nightfall. Still, fantastic location in proximity of local eateries, attractions, and venues, with a porch swing and rockers to kick your boots off after a day of local adventures.

Wonderful

Stayed for 4 nights, couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Everything was clean and cozy. It felt like home.

Unfortunate events

Pros: Peaceful when neighbors aren’t partying with outdoor karaoke machine Cabin was overall clean Check in/ out instructions were easy Cons: -Toilet wouldn’t flush and maintence didn’t respond until almost 24 hours later (with 5 adults living in cabin, it was hard to avoid using toilet) -Mice got into food our first night. Evidence of them on kitchen counter; one was spotted in bathroom. -Storms knocked power out for 9 hours. Messaged owner asking about a generator to salvage food in refrigerator, no reply for over 25 hours until he sent check out instructions. Had to throw multiple food items away. Tried grilling chicken to save it, but propane ran out before it was even heated up. Owner did offer to refund $20 for food that was spoiled which isn’t even worth the bother for 4 lbs of chicken, Milk, eggs, sour cream…especially after what they make off of rentals. Honestly will not stay here again and won’t rent from him again. I don’t even like leaving reviews like this but I would want to know before renting

Not very professional

We were having a great time and then Thursday while we were out they called and told us we were going to have to vacate the property bc the well had dried up and there was no water. Instead of finding us somewhere to stay like a good business would do, they just kicked us out. I was told I would be refunded for the last two nights and I have yet to receive that refund.

Fantastic Cabin - Last Minute Escape

My girls and I decided to escape to the mountains at the last minute. The booking and communication was incredibly easy with Mr. Russel. We had a comfortable stay. The cabin was exactly as advertised. Mr. Russel even helped us find a nice reputable horse stable to do some trail riding. We would stay again!!

Will not rent again

Pros communication with them was quick , tho many seemed more like automated responses . Bed was comfortable. Hot tub worked. And made a friend with a squirrel on the back porch. Cons place had termites , debris covered the fireplace mantel , and ledging above , woke up sunday morning to debris all over the floor , couch and countertops . Only respose i got from them was, it would be taken care of promptly. The neighbors partied and fought all night long 2 of the 4 nights there , the water pressure in the shower was minimal , and there was calechi build up on the fixtures and shower stall. Water leaked from one spot in the roof. When renting , thier cacellation policy is 48hrs in advance i believe , they wait until 24 hrs prior to send you a check in to sign thats states there will be no refunds for any reason or any comps for any reason including weather , demise of house etc .. just beware.

Nice place but....

We enjoyed our visit, Pros. Nice hot tub Great porch view Very roomy Well stocked appliances Private and quiet Owner very responsive Cons. After reading previous reviews about cleanliness of the cabin we felt sure owner would of had issues addresses... however we found the cabin was more than a little dusty Bed linens had to be rewashed Loft bedroom had lot of candy wrappers under bed Shower drain full of hair that shows shower not cleanned Toothpaste caked on faucet Closet in bedroom had junk stuffed in and falling out It appears an exterminator needs to be called due to saw dust like material on couch and chair upstairs Owner has been informed of these issues

Be aware.

The road leading to this property wasn't clearly marked. Once we found it .(After driving past it a couple of times) you slightly veer off the road onto what looks like a power line access road. The road leading to the cabin was a treacherous ,very curvy and a very steep incline. It is a one lane road and we met a vehicle and had to stop. We almost werent able to start again because of the steep incline. It is posted as the cabin with the mountain view. It would be if the trees weren't green. Otherwise our view was of the poison ivy and poison oak that covered the ground . We attempted to contact the owner with a concern/question on our first morning and they never responded to our message . The cabin was decent and everything was mostly well maintained ( some lighting issues ). This is definitely not a do again for us. There's too much risk in getting to the property.

Beautiful Cabin

We enjoyed our stay. We did not want to leave. Let the manager know the fridge is slightly leaking on the freezer side and some of the outlets weren’t working in kitchen and dining room. But they said they would take care of it. I loved that they were quick with responses when I reached out to them. A great cabin for couples. Double shower head shower! Whatttt! lol. It was such a lovely and peaceful area. We will be returning in the future! ❤️

I went on a rest vacation with my wife and son and it was really a great choice this quiet cabin a beautiful super comfortable visit a few minutes from all the fun that the area offers and it is quite I recommend it 100%

Great cabin!

We had the best stay at this little cabin, the loft and hot tub were huge huts with my kids and there was plenty of room for my family. We have 3 kids ages 5 and under so the 2 big beds were fine for us as they sleep with us. Loved sitting on the front porch and getting in the hot tub on the back porch each day. It is a short drive to town but secluded, just what we wanted. We didn’t really cook a meal there but it was nice having utensils, cups, plates, etc. the driveway is pretty steep getting there but nothing my truck couldn’t handle. Also the gps took me to a different house but we kept driving straight and looking for house number. Would be really hard to find it at night, glad we got there before it got dark. Overall great cabin, location, and area. Would love to stay here again if we ever go back! Was perfect for my family.

OK, not great, not bad, needs maintenance

Good location, quiet, in the trees. A lot of cob webs and dust, needs maintenance. The wood bees (carpenter bees) were making holes in the outside of the cabin. I had to sweep the porches, front and rear. No curtains or blinds on any of the windows except in the first floor bedroom. This place has a lot of potential but needs proper maintenance. Once we left, property manager did not ask how our stay was. Be ready for a steep oneway road before reaching the driveway of the cabin.

Terrific Tennessee

We had a wonderful time at this property. Everything was as described. It was very clean. Wouldn’t want to try to get up the road in a car but we had a truck so we were fine. It is definitely out of the way, on top of a mountain, but that is what we wanted. The scenery is beautiful and other than acorns falling on the roof, (nature can’t be controlled) it was very quiet and relaxing! We even saw a big black bear and wild turkeys on the road. Contact with the property owners was good as well.
