Crystal Shores is a family-friendly beachfront resort that is within walking distance of fine-dining, shopping and concert/festival venues. Some activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, Para-sailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, great restaurants with entertainment for all ages, golf, outlet malls, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of sugary sand beaches.

Policies:
1. Check in is 4pm | Check out is 10am.
2. No Smoking in condo or on balcony.
3. Pets are NOT allowed.
4. Loud parties or gatherings will not be tolerated.
5. Must be at least 25 years old to rent. For groups of Single Adults, all guests in the group must be at least 25 years of age and proof of age will be required before approving the reservation.

Very nice location and condo.

Very nice condo. It was very clean . Furniture is somewhat uncomfortable, the beds were uncomfortable, but otherwise the condo is great. We would stay there again!

Perfect spring break getaway

We absolutely loved staying here. Communication was 10/10! Property was just as described and was perfect for 4 people. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. Looking forward to staying there next year.

The property was at a nice location and overall was very clean. However, the photo of the living room is not accurate. They have switched out the full size sofa for a two seater, which does make a difference when you have a group. We would consider staying here again now.

We were surprised by your comment, as our records show you reached out regarding an issue with your door code, which our emergency maintenance technician handled right away. A new code was created and sent promptly so you could get into the condo without further delay. Technology isn’t always our best friend—while keyless entry has streamlined check-ins, occasional Wi-Fi or mechanical glitches can pop up. We’re glad we were able to get you inside quickly and appreciate your patience. You’d mentioned afterward that your trip was going great and the views were awesome, so we hope the rest of your getaway stayed that way!

The condo was very clean and the view was beautiful. Kudos to your photographer. Although the square footage was stated, the pictures cconvinced me that the condo was more spacious. Overall very nice.

Quiet and Spacious

We enjoyed our stay. It was a quiet and spacious condo. There were a few issues but maintenance corrected all but one.

Location was nice, complex kept clean. I felt like the condo could have been cleaner, especially master bedroom, very dusty. Overall, stay was good and would use again!

Great place

Property was clean and neat, end unit was great! Very comfortable beds, all drapes closed out light which made for superb rest. Well stocked kitchen. A very nice, comfortable and welcoming unit. Does need chaise loungers on balcony but the view is amazing! Really enjoyed the week's stay!!!

Excellent location

The location of the property was excellent. The property manager was very helpful with a couple of issues we had. My only complaint is when you go on vacation you don’t expect to walk into a condo and have to sweep the floor and wash dishes that was put in the cabinets dirty

Everything but the bed.

The condo was beautiful. The views are superb. But I barely slept for almost a week because the mattress in the master suite is hard as a rock. If you like a really hard mattress, this one’s a winner. Owners really should upgrade.

Lovely condo exactly as pictured and exceptionally clean. The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable and looked new. The wrap around balcony provided the most amazing views of the ocean, beach and the peaceful lagoon on the northwest side. Plenty of shade and sun options on the balcony day, depending on your preference. We started and finished a couple of books up there while watching the parasailing! The corner location was ideal for privacy and scenery. The staff at Beach Getaways Vacation Rentals were excellent to work with, prompt to respond and very courteous. The beachside service provided by Ike's was great and very reasonable, they are super to work with as well. Close to many restaurants and shops, Blalock Fresh Fish Market was awesome, we purchased from them for 3 meals and the fish was delicious! Publix is just down the street for anything else you may need and a short drive to Fairhope for a day trip rounded out an ideal week . My husband and I were looking for a nice place to relax, rest and rejuvenate and this was perfect!

Dirtiest condo I’ve stayed in

Hair on floor in bathrooms, dead bugs in shower, layers of dust on baseboards, wobbly ceiling fan, dirty floors. Bathroom fixtures in disrepair.

We want to clarify that this review seems to be for the unit you were relocated to, rather than the original condo. We’re truly sorry that your stay didn’t meet our usual 5-star standards. Unfortunately, these housekeeping issues weren’t brought to our attention until the day of your departure, and we sincerely wish you had reached out earlier so we could have quickly sent our team to make things right. This is not the experience we strive for, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another chance to show you why we’re the “host with the most.” We'd love the opportunity to turn things around for you on your next beach getaway!

Gave this 4 stars because there was no property manager on site and we couldn’t get any questions answered.. other than that it was a great experience

Balcony Views

We picked the place for the corner balcony and the views were awesome, sunrise and sunset. Please replace the balcony furniture. The two good chairs are are rusty and rotting. The table was a padded old card table. Less than impressed with that situation. Everything else indoors was as described. Slept comfortable and was enough space for the two of us.

Less than expected

Property is run down and needs work. None of latches on sliding glass doors worked, furniture was in poor condition, Dust on all surfaces, floors were dirty. Poor instructions regarding parking. Codes did not work on other doors, had to have key fob. The view and the beach were amazing. Nicer places near by for less cost. The area is much busier than I realized, takes a long time to get groceries due to traffic and not many food options other than seafood.

Margaret, thank you for sharing your experience in our condo and informing us about some things that may need some TLC. We have shared your comments about the latches not locking with our maintenance team! We are glad that our cleaners came back to address the overlooked areas while you were arriving such as the floors and surfaces to ensure a great stay! The front door has a code lock, but all property amenities are unlocked with a key fob at Crystal Shores, handled by the HOA. We have informed the Property Care Manager about the furniture so that she can contact the owner as necessary! We are thankful for your comments as this is one of the best ways to ensure our properties are kept to quality standards. Thank you for choosing Beach Getaways!
