Relaxing getaway on Long Lake in Hale, Michigan! This stunning and renovated three bedroom cabin features two full bathrooms and sweeping views of Long Lake. It has its own dock and private deck area! Great spot for fishing with family!

It is located near the ORV trails, East Tawas and West Branch. This cabin features wireless internet, cable, washer/dryer, outdoor firepit, indoor natural fireplace, and central air conditioning. Reverse osmosis has been installed for drinking and cooking. There is room for a whole family with bedrooms that include one king, one queen and two-twin beds on a loft area that overlooks the living room!

What a great trip! Our 2nd time staying and would definitely go back. Home is very clean and has everything to make this rental a home away from home. Patrick is a great host and quick to respond to any questions you might have.

We had a luxuriously relaxing week on Long Lake. This property was well equipped for our family of 5 adults. The paddle boat and kayaks were a wonderful add-on and tons of fun. Would definitely stay again!

Highly recommend!

I was greatly impressed. It was everything we had hoped for, clean, spacious, well stocked kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. All you need to pack is your cloths, personal items and yourself. They also provided outdoor items, paddle boat, kayaks, inflatables, fishing poles, sunny daysā€¦Wait!I would like to return next year and I may have made it more difficult. I highly recommend!

2025 cottage on Long Lake, Hale, MI

What a nice surprise when we arrived. Home is Beautiful and clean. Nice and close to the water. Beautiful views. Owner so very easy to contact the one time we had a question. Check-in super easy!! We also rented a pontoon for our week and it worked out great. Looking forward to possibly stay again. Thank you so very much for opening your cottage for those of us who live to travel around the state.

Family vacation

Had a wonderful week at the lake house. It was very clean and the host very attentive. The property is fantastic with great views of the lake. Everything is very comfortable from the furniture to the beds. We would definitely stay here again

Long lake gem

Absolutely perfect view overlooking lake. Home was spotless and comfortable. My grandkids enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks. We absolutely love this gem of a lake house and will be back!

Great Vacation For Our Family

Our family stayed for one week. We brought our boat and docked it on the property. Beautiful view of the lake, Great Lake to float and boat in. Super nice neighbors on both sides of the home. This home had absolutely everything we needed. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Our Best Lake Stay yet!

Weā€™re a group of five friends, all educators-a few of us already retired. Each year, we look for lakefront property where we can boat, swim, fish, and chill. This property was excellent for us ā€” very clean, spacious enough, and great lakefront seating in various areas on the property. There was even a small deck area right along the lake where we could do our morning yoga! We were also grateful for necessary supplies left in the house (some unexpected!). The lake itself was beautiful, and surprisingly very quiet. We enjoyed using the paddle boat available to us. Although kayaks were also available, we chose to rent a pontoon for a few days. Our week was great! Thank you Patrick!

Amazing family getaway!

If youā€™re looking for a perfect lake experience this is it. The house is nice and spacious and exceptionally clean and well stocked with absolutely everything you might need. Beds and furniture were very comfy and two full baths are perfect if you have kids or guests. The kayaks and paddle boat were fun for the kids and fishing off the dock is about as good as you can get. Lots of bass, pike, perch and even a walleye or two. The upper deck is fantastic to drink coffee and watch the loons in the morning. Also we were thankful for Patrick allowing us to bring our golden with us for the week. She loved it and had as much fun as we did. You canā€™t go wrong with this one! P.S. Main St Pizza and BBQ in Hale has top notch pizza and BBQ is great too - worth a stop!

Gem on long lake

Absolutely perfect! Iā€™m OCD and appreciate cleanliness. The owner is very organized and the place was spotless! Grandkids loved the loft twin beds and we enjoyed watching the blue jays and sunrises on the water. Great bonfire and grill for grilling. Water was great for the kids swimming and we had an absolute blast! Definitely will go back

'Relaxing by the LAke

Property is well maintained, and has all amenities. We enjoyed using the kayaks, and took advantage of the convenient fire pit. The lake is super clean and we swam every day. Neighbors were very friendly, took us on a tour of the lake on their pontoon boat.

Great family vacation spot!

My family and I had a terrific week at Patrickā€™s property! The cabin was very clean with comfortable furniture and mattresses. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware and cookware. But the absolute best part was the lake! Clear water with a sandy bottom perfect for swimming with the kids. And a very friendly neighbor took us out on their boat for a tour of the lake and a swim. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Excellent lakefront rental!!

Everything was great!! Listing was 100% accurate and the owner was super responsive! The AC stopped working one day and he arranged for it to be fixed the next day- less than 24 hours after it stopped working. Very well stocked house with everything you need! Waterfront is beautiful and has sandy beach with awesome dock! We had our speedboat and jetski with plenty of space. Nice long lake with few low spots. Had a blast boating, jet skiing and tubing! Highly recommend this property!! would rent again for sure !!

Great place to stay on Long Lake

The property was better than described. I would highly recommend staying here. It was very clean and check in was simple. There were only 3 of us, but could comfortably sleeps up to 6. The location was great on Long Lake.

Great Vacation Up North

Great little house on the lake. Comfortable. Clean. As advertised. Pat communicated quickly for the couple questions that we had. Spent most of our time out by the lake or on the pontoon we rented. Awesome neighbors and a wonderful vacation. Excellent fishing right off the dock. Great time at Lumbermans Monument. Would certainly return.

July 24-31, 2021 - Fantastic Summer Week on Long Lake!

We had a wonderful time! This lake house has a picture perfect view looking SE down Long Lake. We sat on the deck overlooking the water each day we were there, enjoying the scenic and soothing lake views. The house is perfect for families ā€“ we had two small children with us for two days, 2 and 4, and they froliced in the warm lake water, swimming off the dock. There is another deck right down at the lakeside which is perfect for watching the little ones. The house was pefect for our needs ā€“ plenty of room and the amenities were ample, clean and appropriate. It was warm, and air conditioner worked very well. One note ā€“ the neighbors are NOT too close ā€“ there is pletny of room here, and frankly we never even noticed the neighbors ā€“ this is a lake house, after all. We grilled on the gas grill a couple of times and it worked as expected. We used the firepit a couple of nights and make sā€™mores on the fire when the little kids where still with us. We used the kayaks the owner provided as well and enjoyed the lake that way too. We rented a pontoon boat for the week from a local boat rental outfit next to the Long Lake Inn, and we boated each day and fished occasionally as well. Long Lake is a beautiful lake and we were able to enjoy the sights boating around the entire lake. There are many scenic places to explore near this lovely lake house ā€“ we went to the Lumbermanā€™s Monument and hiked around the breath taking trails there, and brought our dod to the Rifle River recreation area and hiked and enjoyed the trails near the river and lake there. Golf is also nearby and we golfed at a couple of the local courses ā€“ they were fun and inexpensive. All in all, it was a tremendous week to vacation on Long Lake, and this house is a great place to enjoy it!

We had a wonderful family time. All the amenities you could want. Patrick was a great host and very accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyable and property was cleaned even to the tiniest detail.
