Beautiful, newly updated lake house. Right on a gorgeous Loon Lake!

This is a fully furnished, fully functional lake house. It sits right on the water, which means you can swim and fish right from the backyard. The house features a wood fired hot tub, two fireplaces, a dedicated boat launch and a balcony overlooking the lake. You can easily hit ORV trails, which are located right up the road. There is a charcoa, wood fired and a gas flat top grill for your enjoyment. We have a fully functional kitchen featuring dishwasher, electric stove, double door refrigerator with ice maker as well as washer and dryer. There are TV's in two bedrooms with smart cast access, as well a large tv with a music system in the living room. WiFi is provided free of charge. Pets are welcome!

We had an amazing boys’ weekend here. It was the perfect setup. The natural beauty of the lake is incredible, and the fishing right off the dock was surprisingly good. The wood-fired hot tub was a great touch and really set the atmosphere, and cooking dinner over the outdoor fireplace made the experience even better. The beautiful wood cabin gave it that authentic up-north feel we were looking for. On top of that, the host was extremely responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing lake getaway

Beautiful location with a beautiful lake

Nice accommodations. Beautiful property with a peaceful lake. Clean inside. The hot tub did leak when we tried to fill but otherwise it was a great place to relax

Hi Jill, Thank you for your kind review. As far as the hot tub goes, I wish you would have contacted us and we would have helped. It is normal for the hot tub to leak even severally if it wasn't used for a few weeks. Once you would have filled it to the top, the leaks would have subsided after a couple of hours once the cedar absorbed the moisture. You would then just need to top it off with more water. If you ever choose to stay with us again, we will ensure that you will not be disappointed. Thanks, Owners

Wonderful stay, a true gem!!

We had the most amazing time at your lake house!! Everything was more than expected, it was the perfect weekend getaway. It was private, peaceful, and the sunsets were spectacular! We could actually see and hear the loons, which was amazing and so romantic. Thank you for sharing this paradise with us, we will definitely be back!!

Perfect Lake House Vacation

Perfect location with beautiful lake view. The family enjoyed fishing, swimming, kayaking, pedal boating, and the hot tub all from the lakefront side of the house. The host was very informative and provided all the essentials.

Relaxing Get Away

A very relaxing time. The property and accommodations were accurate to the listing, with a spacious house that included everything needed for a comfortable stay. The lake was quiet which made it easily accessible during the day and pleasant for relaxation in the morning and evening.Located near three small towns that provided grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and a brewery it was also about 40 miles to Lake Huron for a day trip.Definitely a place we will return to.

Beautiful cottage with everything you will need, our family had so much fun fishing, swimming and lounging on the water. We used the kayaks, paddle board and the pedal boat all weekend and had a blast with them. We didn't have any issues using our phones once we connected to wi-fi. One of the cleanest places I have rented and the host was very responsive when we asked a question. This is definitely on our list to come back to again.

Stunning setting

Beautiful property and home. Well stocked and supplied home. Multiple options for a cozy fire. Incredible views of loon lake. We watched a loon family come and go our entire trip. Thank you for sharing your special home.

Absolute Must Stay, Northern Michigan’s Finest

We absolutely loved our stay on Loon Lake! The home was beautiful and has every amenity you could need. Conveniently located where you can escape from people yet drive to town for groceries or eat at a local establishment. Reasonable drive to Mackinaw, Grayling, and West Branch if you’re looking for longer outings. Loon Lake was clean and free of boat traffic. It made sunsets and watching the stars absolutely amazing! If you want the true Northern Michigan experience, book this site…it won’t disappoint.

Happy cabin!

This place is an amazing opportunity to relax. Right on a small peninsula and relatively private. Relaxing in the wood fired hot tub was great! Nice distance from town to go to the outfitters shop or canoeing on the Au Sable. You will not be disappointed choosing this spot. Paddle boarding, and kayaking was great to take across the lake to the rope swing. Every morning we would see a group of loons on loon lake. Super happy with my choice and will be returning.

Live, Love, Loon Lake

We had a wonderful stay. We attended a Celebration of Life event nearby. Spending time as a family at this cabin made our grieving lighter and allowed us to make happy memories in the process. The property and its surroundings are even better than the pictures. The hosts are generous with supplies and allowed us to use several of their water toys. Our kids enjoyed hours of paddle boarding & kayaking. We felt like we were staying in a cabin owned by a friend or family member. Highly recommend. Thank you for hosting us :-)

Loving the loons on Loon Lake

Beautiful setting outside and inside. Extremely accommodating and well equipped in every way. Clean and inviting. Ice maker seems to clog up easily. A bathroom on the second floor would be a plus. The weather could not have been better. Nearby hiking trails a bonus. We so enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the loons. And nothing beats their haunting call

We had a wonderful week at the Loon Lake house! The house was immaculate! Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. The shower had strong water pressure! Beds and linens were very comfortable. The lake and grounds were so beautiful. The kayaks, paddle boat and paddle board were all brand new! We enjoyed the wood heated hot tub! What a nice treat! It was so quiet and relaxing! We saw loons, a bald eagle, and herons on the lake and even some deer on our morning walk! The owners pontoon is not available for rent, but we were able to rent one for the week from a local marina. They delivered it and picked it up at the end of the week. We had an amazing stay and would definitely book again!!

Our stay on Loon Lake was absolutely fabulous—truly a special place. The setting is peaceful and quiet, and the beautiful lake was the perfect spot to relax with a good book. One of our favorite parts of the week was watching a pair of loons swim, dive, and fish right in front of the cottage. Their haunting, beautiful calls were absolutely mesmerizing and made the experience even more magical.The house itself is spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there were plenty of cozy spaces to relax, whether reading, playing games, or watching a movie. The beds were incredibly comfortable—we slept like babies every night.The owners were wonderful to deal with—kind, welcoming, and very easy to communicate with. Check-in and check-out were both seamless and completely hassle-free, making our stay even more enjoyable.This is one of those rare places that leaves you feeling completely refreshed. We made wonderful memories here and will definitely be returning to this special little piece of paradise.
