Wooded Retreat Home

My Retreat Home is a perfect vacation home for those wanting convenience to all that coastal Maine has to offer! Newly renovated in the "Modern Farmhouse" Style, this 900 sq. ft. home features large well- appointed rooms, dedicated paved parking, air conditioning, washer/dryer, patio furniture, gas grill, WIFI, You-Tube TV subscription, 2 smart-T.V.'s and so much more. The home has one queen bed and is suitable for 2 adults. Many pantry supplies have been provided for our guest's convenience. There are blackout curtains in the bedroom to help you get a good night's sleep on the comfy mattress.

Conveniently located to local lakes and the ocean, the home is just 30 minutes from Acadia National Park, Schoodic Point and Bar Harbor. Close by, you will enjoy bike and hiking trails, kayaking, art festivals, fishing, golfing, beaches, restaurants, concerts and shopping.

Owner maintains an office connected to the home which is accessed through a separate entrance. The office and Retreat Home is soundproofed and separated by 3 walls so noise is not an issue.

Beautifully decorated, clean and full of all things for a comfortable stay. We mainly were there to hike as many trails as possible Acadia National Park. We found Bar Harbor too crowded so checked out Ellsworth. We enjoyed the food and beer at Fogtown brewery and Airline Brewing

This property is Beautiful and had everything you need. Hosts are kind,communication was excellent! Location to sites was a nice drive. It was away from the busy of the area Enjoyed our stay.

Very secluded. Nice area. Unit was as listed. If arriving after dark as we did, the road (more of a driveway) isn’t easily seen. Very convenient to many restaurants and shopping. Arcadia park is easily accessible from the unit. Would stay again.

The cottage was welcoming, well furnished, cozy and very clean. The host was friendly, lived nearby and was there when needed, very attentive, but otherwise made herself scarce and gave us privacy on our stay. There were plenty of restaurants we wanted to check out in the area, but found ourselves using the grill for dinner and staying in most nights. It was nice to experience the crowded tourist attractions during the day, and have a comfortable, quiet place to relax at night. I highly recommend.

. Property located off main road going into park. About a 30 minute drive. House was spacious , well stocked and comfortable. Very peaceful experience. Would definitely recommend!

Wooded Retreat Home

We spent 3 nights and would highly recommend this property. The home was spotless! Also had anything we might need while cooking, relaxing or doing laundry. Outdoor deck had comfy chairs to sit and read. Approximately 20 miles from Acadia, stores and restaurants nearby. Don’t look any further, you will love it.

Peaceful retreat house

Very clean and well stocked. Everything you could need! The house is about 40 minutes from Bar Harbour. It was nice to get away from the crowds and traffic when we returned to the house in the evenings. Kelly was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again! Thank you Kelly.

Wonderful place for a quiet retreat

Thank you, Kelley, for your hospitality! The cottage is great! Very quiet and comfortable, clean and spacious, and cozy at the same time. The kitchen is very well equipped for stay at home dinner, and everything one needs to pack a good snack for a day's hike. The location is very convenient as well, within easy drive to all the wonderful destinations. We loved staying here for the second year in a row and will love to come back again. Nice accommodation

Very Nice owner. Kelley was very accommodating. Everything was neat as a pin, and very clean. Well furnished and spacious. Nice sitting area outside and owner was thoughtful enough to provide a motion light at the entryway when arriving at night. Also was thoughtful enough to have a canopy over the door entryway in case it’s raining so that you’re not fumbling with keys or codes - and getting soaking wet in doing so. Large TV and plenty of drawer and closet space. Only drawback is that this property is on the west side of Ellsworth about 5 miles out. If you’re going to Bar Harbor, it’s a 48 minute drive each way. I should have picked up on that before booking. My error.

Great place!

My husband and I stayed really enjoyed this property. It is on a small private lane just off the main road into Ellsworth. It was very clean, decorated nicely and had very comfortable furniture! We both agreed that it was one of the best that we have stayed in, and we travel a fair amount. If we are in the area in the future, we would definitely book again!

Private wooded retreat

We enjoyed our stay at the Wooded Retreat. It was very clean, neat and spacious. It had a well equipped kitchen and laundry area which we appreciated. It was a great location, private and away from the crowds, yet easy to get to everything.

Acadia Retreat

I’ll admit I’m a bit of a germaphobe when it comes to rentals/hotels but this place put me at ease! It was spectacularly clean, spacious rooms with modern, minimal design. We only stayed for 3 nights, however, the home was well stocked and even an Acadia park pass was provided. It was about a 40 minute drive into Bar Harbor or Acadia and a nice respite from all the crowds. Kelley was the perfect hostess and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything you need

Nice clean, quiet property perfect for an intimate getaway. It had everything needed to enjoy a peaceful couple of days. The host, Kelley, was attentive, kind, and responsive. Close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia without the crowd. I would definitely stay here again!

First Visit to Maine

You won’t find a rental house cleaner and better stocked with all you could need than Kelly’s house! We had the best time visiting Acadia and the surrounding area. The location was convenient without being in the middle of the crowds. We’ve stayed in many rentals over the years and this was by far the best!

Beautiful place in great area

This is a beautiful, comfortable place to stay to explore the surrounding area and Acadia National Park. Kelly is such a gracious host, and we were able to extend out stay because of Hurricane Lee.
