Lazy Days Retreat

Welcome to the perfect lazy days! Our beautiful home offers beautiful Riverview view, private pool, spacious deck and screened in porch for all your Riverview enjoyment. When you’re ready to go down to the river on the community dock right outside, grab one of our paddleboards (3), kayaks (3 singles & 1 two person), or a fishing pole to enjoy the day on the water and just relax. The private gated swimming pool offers a relaxing opportunity to swim, sunbathe or just chill. Outdoor amenities include screened in porch for dining, Fire pit and grill with ample patio furniture make the outside space the desired hang out When you are ready to come in, the entertainment room with pool table, shuffle board table, and many card/ board games will sure to entertain everyone.

Since we do not live here full time we do have outdoor security cameras at the front and garage side of the house.

Gorgeous inside and out, amazing views and all you could ask for to enjoy making memories. Nice pool plus a great dock for fishing, floating or paddling. Plenty of room inside for games, just visiting, or napping. Loved the deck and screened porch from morning coffee to evening sunsets.

Great quiet place away from it all

Great house with lots to offer! We all had a great time. Paddle boarding was a perfect past time. Game room offers lots to do, in case of rain, or just at happy hour. Enjoyed our stay very much!!

Great house for a family vacation

This was a wonderful house for a family vacation! There was plenty of room for everyone (with lots of bathrooms!!!). The pool is perfect, the dock was great for sitting, the kayaks were fun (plenty of life jackets in the garage), the kitchen was well equiped (with lots of plasticware for near the pool), and the historic sites (Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown) are all just an hour away)

Very beautiful home with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Home was extremely clean, views were great. Could have very easily stayed at the house the entire vacation. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely Getaway

The home and natural surroundings were beautiful! Very peaceful. We were visited by some rabbits and one evening, some deer! The views are breathtaking.

Great place in very quiet location!

The house was a great space for my family to stay. In all, we had 10 people including adults, teenagers, and a baby. The upstairs space was nicely separated and provided a place for the kids to play and have their privacy and the sound didn't interfere with the adults hanging out downstairs. Lovely pool, and easy drive to Williamsburg and Gloucester.

Had a great time

Fun house for kids and adults. We cooked all our meals and had what we needed in the kitchen. Loved eating on the screened porch. Sunsets on the water are lovely.

Family Getaway

This beautiful, well-organized home had lots of space for entire family. The community dock next to the property offered hours of fun for kayaking, paddle boarding, crabbing, fishing, and evening sunsets. The private pool was perfect for swimming and socializing. Our little ones spent hours at the pool! We had an amazing time!

Spring break with friends

Property is lovely; Owners were very helpful and communicative. They gave great suggestions. We went to Busch gardens, Williamsburg and Compass for games and movie. Would be great to come when it’s warmer so we could take advantage of the pool!

Family Vacation

This is the second year in a row we have stayed at this location and will definitely be booking again. The house is perfect for our extended family we had the best time. The house was clean, the kitchen is well stocked with essentials and cookware, and the property was perfect. We had rain one day which we spent in the game room. Other than that we spent everyday at the pool or fishing on the dock!

Perfect Getaway!

There are so many positive things to say about the home. The views from the house/dock are just lovely! The house has something for everyone. Some highlights include: the game room and the shuffle bowl tournaments; kayaking; swimming in the pool. Another thing that impressed us what how immaculate the home was. This was the cleanest property that I have ever rented!

Fantastic Getaway

John and Violetta were fantastic hosts. They responded to any messages and inquiries quickly. I loved the welcome book they left on the counter with menus, a list of nearby stores and even places to visit. The house and pool were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood is so quiet and the views of the river from the deck are beautiful. My family and I had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing vacation.

Nice Place for family stay

Great place to spend some family time, in nice and walkable, neighborhood. Home has good water views and a very inviting outdoor space to have the morning coffee. Plenty of pool and river toys available and very organized-very thankful for the inviting atmosphere.Pool and extra shower towels were not provided which would have been nice to know prior to arrival. Also, the dock, which is easily acceptable is also shared with the small community. We never ran into anyone at the dock but there were a couple of cars parked behind the pool at the dock entrance. No problems arose from either of these items-overall great place to stay.

Wonderful Stay

The house is even bigger and lovelier in person than in the photos. The hosts were wonderful to communicate with and incredibly accommodating. My kids (ages 6-13) had a great time in the pool, although the oldest wished for a bit deeper of a deep end 🙈😂 There were tons of toys and water crafts, the latter of which were great to use in the river. One note of caution, which we were perhaps the only ones ignorant of, but there are river jellyfish, so swimming is best done in the pool. Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful time and no one wanted to leave.

Great place for a family vacation.

This house and property was a great place for our family reunion. There were lots of activities to keep everyone happy and entertained (pool, fishing, yard games, billiard table, kayaks and more). The screened porch was great; we ate the majority of our meals out there. It’s also a great place to watch the deer and birds in the mornings and evenings. The house itself was very nice with lots of little extras. The area around the house is rural and very quite. John and Violetta were great host. (Side note: most restaurants in the area are closed on Mondays and/or Tuesday)

The perfect home

Beautiful home! Perfect place to stay with your family or friends. Super clean! The garage was Full of Anything you would need for water sports with plenty of life preserves. The beds were comfortable and rooms are spacious. The kitchen Is fully stocked, the family room is a great place to gather. My family took advantage of kayaking and paddle boarding. We got very lucky with weather and took full advantage of the pool. The water View is gorgeous. Check in was easy. and our host.were so accommodating.and gracious

Best Family Vacation Ever!

Absolutely no disappointments! So spacious, comfortable and accommodating! The pool was so fun for the kids and relaxing for the adults. It was so clean and perfect temperature! The kids so enjoyed the dock and fishing, caught fish and crabs and bait fish. Sunsets on the river will be memorable! It is everything advertised. I was not expecting the house to be so roomy. The master bedroom and bath were huge. The game room was vast. This has been the best family vacation experience we have had!
