The space
On arrival, parking-level entry leads into a spacious mudroom, guest bedroom, and bonus area. The mudroom has plenty of space for storage. The downstairs bonus room is a great area for kids to hang out and completed with a kid’s bunk bed and a sofa. The ground-level guest bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and dresser. The bathroom has a huge shower with glass doors and a washer/dryer area.
Head upstairs into the living room, kitchen, dining area, and master bedroom. The bright main living level upstairs has wood floors, lofted wood ceilings, and large windows that open to the forest, and a large covered porch. The living space is great for reading or playing games. The gas fireplace makes for a bright & warm space to gather.
The fully equipped kitchen has enough space for 2 families to stay comfortably. We provide some cooking supplies for your use, such as coffee, tea, oils, salt, and spices. The primary bedroom, conveniently located off the living room, has a comfortable queen bed with a memory foam mattress and a dresser. A second bathroom sits on this floor as well. Both bathrooms are complete with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryers.
A large bedroom on the third level has exposed beam ceilings and fitted with two single beds, two closets, and a dresser.
This home also includes free basic WiFi, board games, books, and a foosball table.

Location:
The home is situated deep on its lot for privacy, tucked away from the road. The cabin is less than a block away from Royal Gorge XC's Summit Station (cross-country skiing and snowshoeing), 1 mile away from Soda Springs Mountain Resort, 6 miles from Sugar Bowl Resort, 4.5 miles from Boreal, and just a few minutes away from Northstar, Alpine & Squaw Ski Resorts.
The cabin is within walking distance from Serene Lakes for swimming, kayaking, paddle-boarding, windsurfing, fishing, and just minutes away from Donner Lake, trails in Donner Memorial State Park, the town of Truckee, and Lake Tahoe. Location is perfect for hiking, biking & riding, and when there's snow, cross country skiing & sledding.

Guest access
There is a lockbox with a key to access the house. I will provide the cabin's detailed information and access instructions the day/night before arrival via separate correspondence.

- Driveway is plowed at least one time a day when snowing
- Private washer and dryer
- Free, basic WiFi. Owners are not responsible for the slow connection speed. We are constantly checking with the local providers to see when a faster connection will be available
- Access to a canoe, paddleboard as well as a gas grill in the summer
