Location & Luxury - Welcome to your private suite!

Private suite with smart lock entrance in the best location Louisville has to offer. Located one street away from Bardstown Rd, it's an easy walk to some of the top restaurants, parks, and amenities in the city! 10-15 minute drive to Churchill Downs, Airport, Expo Center, downtown and so much more!
Enjoy the newly renovated suite that has a touch of original character integrated into the fresh space.

Completely separate/private upstairs unit with eat in kitchenette, deck, full bathroom and cozy bedroom with queen, memory foam mattress. Our house is about to celebrate its 100th birthday, so it has a few quirks including the bedroom ceiling that may not be accommodating for anyone over 6’ 2”. We are always happy to answer any questions you have to clarify!

The space:
This space is more suited for 2 guests, but can accommodate up to 4! Please let us know prior if you would like to use the Murphy bed so we can dress it for you, at an additional $20/ night. You must notify at time of booking for Murphy bed, it is locked otherwise due to previous guests damaging it. This is an upstairs in-law suite of our home.

Excellent stay in the perfect area

Had a great time here with my partner on a mini vacation. Its in the perfect spot thats central to about everything we wanted to explore. We spent a lot of time visiting distilleries along the bourbon trail and enjoying the scenery in kentucky. The host is fantastic and the room is very cozy

Great stay!

We enjoyed our weekend stay immensely! The location was excellent—close to tons of food and beautiful Cherokee Park. Everything was clean and we loved the decor style. You can trust the pictures, in fact I’d say it’s even better than it looks! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Cute, Cozy Space

I stayed here during a work trip to Louisville. It was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The owners have done a great job maximizing the space and the decor was beautiful. It was close to everything I needed. I will definitely be back.

Wonderful cottage

Fabulous and cozy best describes this VRBO. Emily the hostess was very sweet and she responded very quickly to all my questions. The home is located in a really cute part of Louisville called the Highlands and there are tons of fabulous restaurants within walking distance. Do not hesitate to stay at this great little gem, you will not be disappointed!

Comfortable stay with activities minutes away.

We arrived to see a note welcoming us with a personal touch. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed to cook a meal if we chose to do so but we were also close to several restaurants. Communication with the owner was easy and the place was clean. This attic apartment was a comfortable reprieve from the summer heat.

Great area

Emily was very helpful ! It was my Girlfriends birthday and she made sure to make it extra special and leave birthday celebration things and was super kind! Plenty of privacy ..great area walking distance from all kinds of restraunts and bars! The place was clean s very nice !!! The area is a prime location in Louisville for things to do!! I’d recommend it for couples especially!

Excellent easy stay for Kentucky Derby

Very cozy space with comfortable bed for the two of us. Extra bed if needed for more persons. Private apartment space in attic guesthouse area above main home. Host is very fast with communication and friendly but we did not meet in-person as they were out of town. They even left some amazing welcome gifts for us! 15 min easy driver/uber from airport, downtown, and from Churchill Downs for the Derby. Easy door code check-in and accomodated early check-in. Fast Wi-Fi. The nearby neighborhood has many restaurant (we enjoyed "La Chasse"), coffee shop, bar and grocery options. highly reccommend and we felt very lucky to be able to stay here for the big race weekend!

Relaxing Retreat

My daughter and I stay here during the Run for the Roses tournaments. After spending a long day at the event it was so nice to come back to a comfortable relaxing environment. My daughter loved the lights and the most plush bed, pillows and comforters. Her body needed it after the physicality of the games. I loved the rainfall shower and the big screen TV. The extra bed was perfect and not in the way at all of the other living space. Easy communication and safe walkable area near restaurants. Will be coming back next year if available.

Do yourself a favor and book this cute VRBO

This is the second time staying at this VRBO and I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was. First, Emily and Eric, the hosts, have done an incredible job in making this oasis feel like home, and making us feel like friends and not guests in their VRBO. Not only is it beautifully decorated but it is also extremely clean - just like the last time I stayed. The VRBO is located in a perfect location in Louisville which is the Highlands, and they are right off Bardstown which is where you can find a lot of neat and fun places to eat and drink, as well as jog in the morning and then grab a coffee. My sister came with me on this stay and she is extremely picky, and she only had glowing things to say - which is a big deal as she has been known to leave a hotel seconds after check-in when her standards were not met. Honestly, if you are looking for a VRBO in Louisville, do yourself a favor and book here - you will not be disappointed!

Excellent Location

This property is centrally located to the tourist areas as well as two neighborhoods, Bardstown and NULU areas. The neighborhood is safe and the host responds promptly.

Perfect Louisville neighborhood stay

Super cheery, open and breezy space. Perfect lounge spot on the deck, walkable to coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. We had everything we needed within a few blocks and a visit to Churchill Downs was only a short drive away. When we return to Louisville I hope to be able to stay here again!

Nice Place Nice People

It's a great little place and done up beautifully! The bed was comfy and the towels were so nice I ordered some for my house. A word of caution is that the stairs were steeper than expected. As someone with a recent knee replacement, I needed help getting my luggage up and down the stairs.

A restful space

My 16 year old daughter and I loved the decor throughout and especially loved the back bedroom! I slept so comfortably in the Murphy bed that I felt like I was waking up at home! The temperature control options were simple to operate. I also appreciated the peaceful atmosphere of the whole apartment and the kitchen area provided all we needed to prepare breakfasts and dinners. I did bring my large electric skillet, but they also have pots and pans available with an electric heating pad and a toaster oven . Such a great place! I hope to stay again.

Weekend getaway!!

Amazing hosts! Very prompt communication and sweet ! The space is absolutely adorable and a perfect home away from home. The location is in a great spot so many cute shops and restaurants. Lots to do!! If the weather had cooperated better we would have walked more than we did!! We will be back for sure!!!

Such a pretty property!

We spent the weekend in Louisville for my 65th birthday and had a great time! The property was so cute and clean, and in a great location. They even welcomed me with a Happy Birthday banner and tiara! One note, though: it’s an attic space, so if you’re tall, it could be an issue. Hubs is about 5’11 and he needed to stay near the center of the room in the bedroom to avoid hitting his head, and couldn’t really use the bathroom mirror to shave without ducking. VERY minor inconveniences for the weekend, however. Lovely space and a great time overall.
