A Cozy Cottage Near the Heart of All Louisville Attractions!

The barn is a complete, cozy cottage located on a beautiful, wooded 2 acres.

Enjoy complete privacy including a two person Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, queen size bed, complete kitchen (stocked with breakfast foods), covered porch with swing and gas grill.

A beautiful in ground swimming pool is located on the property. You are invited to swim, weather permitting.

There are no pets allowed. However, you can meet our small flock of laying hens and our rooster. We have fresh eggs daily.

The apple trees, grapes, cherries, pears and service berries are an invitation to the white tail deer to visit and partake daily. Bird watching is also a favorite sport.

Louisville area attractions are within 15 minutes of our property, including Churchill Downs, the KFC Yum! Center, 4th Street Live, Historic Old Louisville and the St. James Art Fair as well as an abundance of other wonderful attractions and events in our fabulous city.

Very clean. Loved the tub. Nice to have owners close/on site. Much better than dealing with a "rental company". Very spacious without feeling like wasted space. Just and FYI, if you're coming in winter, pay attention to the weather. The driveway can be a little dicey with snow.

The owner was lovely. It was my first time doing something besides a hotel and she kindly answered all my questions. They had farm fresh eggs for breakfast. Super cozy and homey. Like being a grandmas house. we had an amazing time.

Jerry and Marquetta were wonderful hosts. Cabin is very cute and well decorated. Certainly doesn’t feel like you are staying in the city! Chickens were great company and the breakfast provided was perfect. Convenient to lots of great things in Louisville. Enjoyed our stay.

This was the best girl's trip I have ever been on and we celebrated my 50th birthday during the stay. I am a stickler for cleanliness, and this place was spotless. The hosts came and greated us upon check-in and the are super nice. We booked this place for the location and pool; neither disappointed. The AC worked great, the showers water pressure was perfect and we never ran out of hot water. The chickens were so cute and for being behind the cabin, we never heard them in the morning, so we got to sleep late. The eggs, bacon and English muffins provided were yummy, we had that for dinner the last night. The property was picture perfect! We're going to make this our place for our yearly vacation. Thank you for the perfect experience!!

Our getaway could not have been better. The property was awesome!!! The hosts were the most down to earth folks. We had several long visits with them and they were so enjoyable to talk with. The inside and outside decor was just what we needed. My wife and I both have expectations to go there again.

We think that this is the most perfect, scenic, comfortable and clean place we've ever stayed! The pool was nice and clean as well. The hosts were so friendly, inviting and generous. The fresh eggs, bacon, toast and coffee were so good. It was the best place to take some time off and relax from the everyday hustle! We'll definitely come back!

Great Place!!

In town for a concert at Iroquois Amphitheater and to see some local sights. Great location and delightful property. Perfect for my wife and I. We loved it! Highly recommend.

Amazing property. Attention to all the little details was amazing. Property owners are very sweet and friendly. We didnt use the pool but it was easily accessible if we woild have had the time. Fresh eggs and all the breakfast fixings was such a nice touch.

Greatest escape

When we got there Marquette went out of her way to greet us and showed us genuine hospitality!! Place feels like home she even left us with 6 fresh laid eggs, bacon and bread for toast next morning! Place is clean comfortable and quiet. All the amenities and every detail throughout. Thank you Marquette and Jerry. May make this a routine stop on our travels!!

A Wonderful Retreat!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage! The charming barn, chicken, and farm-themed décor made the space feel warm and inviting, and the home itself is beautifully maintained. We especially loved having private access to the pool—it was a huge bonus during the hot summer days! The jacuzzi tub was another relaxing highlight. The hosts went above and beyond with their hospitality, even leaving us fresh eggs, bacon, and bread, which we truly appreciated. The location is perfect—peaceful and private, yet just a short drive from downtown Louisville, making it easy to explore local attractions and restaurants. It was the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and charm!

Relaxing & Cozy

We were in town for a short visit & concert. The host were so sweet to allow us an early check-in so we had time to get settled in & still leave plenty of time to go get dinner before our concert that night. They special touches like fresh eggs, bread, & other items to be able to make a quick breakfast were the best! Plenty of towels to be able to shower & swim with worry of having to re-use damp or wet towels. We are already trying to find an excuse to go back & visit. Literally the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed !

This barn cabin was adorable. When we got there, the temperature inside was just right! The fresh eggs were fantastic! Bread and butter for toast, and ready-to-eat bacon in the refrigerator! There was no time for us to enjoy the pool. Every time we'd venture outside, chickens would come to the edge of the coop to greet us! When we visit the area again, we will stay here!

We are in a VERY convenient location but as you turn in the drive the metropolitan access is left behind and the rural beauty becomes the focus. There is complete privacy as well as the feel of 'country' living.
The beauty of wildlife, fruit trees, and the sounds of chickens help you to feel very removed from the 'city' life.
