Newly renovated EXTERIOR! Expansive balconies on both the 2nd and 3rd floors, perfect for enjoying the serene ocean views and refreshing coastal breeze. These spacious outdoor areas provide plenty of shade from the sun for you to relax! Enjoy a hidden gem with family and friends on your next 30A vacation at The Salty Pelican. This townhome does not have pool access; however, it is located in an exclusive neighborhood on Seacrest Beach & provides a ready-made beach vacation. Located in between Seaside and Alys Beach, the home sits in a gated neighborhood with private beach access as well as access to a freshwater lake. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking at home or you can take a short bike ride to The Big Chill (Formerly the Hub) for a variety of food options that will suit everyone. The home sleeps 8-10 people comfortably with 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor & 2 bedrooms on the 3rd floor. On the first floor you will find 1 king bedroom and the "kids room" with 1 bunk bed and 2 twin beds with a shared full bathroom. On the third floor you will find 1 king bedroom & 1 queen bedroom, both with private full bathrooms. Just a quick 2 minute walk to your private beach access! *There is NO pool access for this unit*

Very nice place to stay! In a quiet neighborhood with private beach access just a short walk away. It was very well kept, clean, and the kitchen was very organized and stocked with everything you need.

Easy walk to the beach!

We usually stay across from the Big Chill but decided to try something closer to the beach this fall break. And …we loved it! It was a wonderful trip! The condo had everything we needed for our stay and tons of stuff for the beach (and it was all neatly labeled). The beds were super comfy! We all slept great! There were puzzles for the rainy day and several games we all played too! Communication was above and beyond. Happy vacation!

Best stocked rental

We enjoyed ourselves! Best stocked vrbo we have stayed in. The front door and lock gave us trouble and both should be replaced along with the decks outside. Lovely view of the water from the upper deck which is so unstable you can't enjoy it. Seems like an entire building issue so owner may have to wait until all units are ready to renovate. Owner was wonderful to work with and we really enjoyed our family time. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

Perfect Place!

Great, fully stocked and in a perfect location townhouse. Our hostess was wonderful about getting us all information in a timely manner. Private beach within walking distance, biking to The Big Chill, and Secrest is a must! We really enjoyed our stay, second time at the same location and will come again.

Great location

The owner, Shannon, is so kind and helpful! The property has lots of items for fun at the beach. The ceiling fans could use a good cleaning and the bottom tray of the dishwasher doesn’t slide out well. The kitchen is well stocked. The space is good for a family. We had a great vacation at the Salty Pelican!

Perfect in every way!

We stayed here with our three children ages 15, 11, and 9. Everything was absolutely spotless and more beautiful than the pictures. Shannon was a great host and very quick to respond when I needed her. We've stayed in a lot of VRBO's but never one with such thoughtful attention to detail. There were tons of sand toys, boogie boards, and beach towels for fun at the beach. There were flashlights for crab hunting, everything we possibly needed in the kitchen, plenty of towels and toilet paper, and even some great travel sized toiletries she adds in a basket on each bed. We did a shrimp boil one night in the big pots, and used the cast iron skillet for another meal. There were condiments and all the little things you forget to buy at the store already in the kitchen. The beds were all super comfortable with high quality pillows, comforters, and sheets. We all slept so soundly. The walk to the beach was super quick and the beach was never once crowded! We loved that this was in a gated community. Our kids could ride bikes all around the neighborhood, check out the lake, or even bike to the HUB. There were lots of great DVD's we enjoyed and board games to play. It was the perfect place to relax all week, we can't wait to book here again!

Home away from home

Great place for families!

Great property, fully stocked kitchen with all necessary utensils, bowls, pans etc. and even a bunch of extras. Roser spacious and there was plenty of toys, beach items etc. for us to use. The property was clean and well-maintained.

Perfect location!

Our family really enjoyed staying at the Salty Pelican! Being so close to the beach was awesome- having teens, it was so nice to know they could go down to the beach when they wanted to or go back to the house if the adults weren’t ready. Wr loved not needing to pack everything into the car and having to find a parking spot at a public beach. And the beach is beautiful and not crowded at all! The neighborhood is so peaceful. The beds and rooms are very comfortable and there isn’t anything you could need that they don’t provide. The host was so responsive when we had a quick issue with a bathroom outlet which got taken care of immediately! We definitely recommend staying here!

Nice location

The only thing be aware that in summer the downstairs gets very warm especially when the dryer is running. I was not comfortable sleeping downstairs due to the temperature at a constant 79 degrees.

Nice location, clean, well stocked kitchen. Plenty of beach toys and very easy walk to beach. Great communication from owner. Windows and balcony needs upgrade which is already in the planning. Would definitely stay here again!

THE PERFECT GETAWAY

The Salty Pelican is the perfect home away from home! Everything you need is already there waiting for you, which makes packing less stressful. Equally important, the cleanliness and proximity to the beach was pure perfection! Also, Shannon was very easy to contact and responded to any questions I had in a timely manner. My family and I definitely enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to booking there again. I highly recommend The Salty Pelican to anyone looking for "The Perfect Getaway!"

Pictures were deceiving

Neighborhood was fine, this unit was in the absolute worst building however, and it was also the worst unit out of the 4. It looked dirty and run-down from the outside - "balconies" looked unsafe to use. The "bedroom" on the first level was an enclosed garage with no windows or a/c, but plenty of toddler toys that junked up the room. The furniture was stained & dirty, the windows leaked, had an applied film that was peeling & were also filthy. Bedroom furniture was located within closets, and the washer/dryer was in a closet under the stairs, and literally jammed in so that the dryer door only opened 40% at best. It was a reasonable nightly rate, which is why I selected this unit, but the pictures depicted a much nicer place. Had I known the reality I would have GLADLY paid another $1000 ....

Perfect vacation home for us!

This property was perfect for our two families. We had a total of three adults and 4 teenagers. The space was great for adults to retreat upstairs and the teens to sleep in the basement. We LOVED that the beach was a super short walk down the road. The community was nice and quiet...very low key, relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable. The townhome was nicely equipped with everything anyone would need while vacationing for a week. We hope to visit again soon!

Perfect hidden gem

This was our first stay on 30A and we were a little nervous and did not know at all what to expect, especially because we were flying. The townhome had chairs, umbrellas, coolers and sand toys. Perfect private neighborhood and a minute walk to the beach! There was no crowd and plenty of space on the beach. The kitchen was labeled and even had kid friendly dishes. We were upset to know the pool was not included but the kids quickly got over it. The balconies looked a little unstable so we didn't use either one. The downstairs tv did not work and the main television was not logged into youtube or netflix - prime did work. Again we weren't there for the tv so this wasn't a deal breaker. The mattresses were all so comfortable! I wish there was an outdoor space to use at the townhome. Overall it was a great experience, we would definitely return.

Unlike most of 30A, our home is in a quaint, private neighborhood that gives guests exclusive beach and lake access without fighting the crowds. It is in the heart of 30A, a short bike ride from The Hub and Alys for great food and shopping when you're not enjoying the secluded beach.
